Great little ice cream shop, with quality ice cream and a friendly proprietor. Nicely air conditioned in the summer too!

Ellie's Mutt Hutt was a really cute little spot! It was unclear where the entrance was and I…read moreimmediately felt like I came in the wrong door and was in the way. Someone told me to sit where I wanted so I headed outside. A waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and I told her that "I don't know what you have." After a brief wait the menus arrived. Having gluten allergies and not being able to eat raw vegetables, I had some challenges. The waitress was very helpful in recommending the BLT sandwich... I haven't had a BLT in a long time and it was OUTSTANDING! I really needed to eat some vegetables...I asked if I could order the grilled veggies but not on a sandwich (there was a grilled veggie sandwich). No problem! A side of grilled veggies! I also ordered an iced tea. This food was the most delicious I've had in a LONG time! The sandwich was perfectly toasted (lettuce and tomatoes were my treat for the day), the grilled vegetables were delicious and NOT dripping in butter or sauce...just plan!!!, and the iced tea was dark and perfectly unsweetened! Absolutely delicious!!!

Extremely dissatisfied with Ellie's Cafe, I made a reservation for 6 people at noon on my birthday,…read moreonly to find no available seating upon arrival. When inquired about waiting, staff suggested waiting for an available table inside or dining outside. We opted to dine outside, where two tables were pushed together, one of which was noticeably uneven, resulting in us separating the tables. Despite the outdoor temperature being 80°F, the heaters above us were on, prompting us to request they be turned off, which led to complaints from other patrons. As a 33-week pregnant individual, I became overwhelmed, started crying, and stepped away. Shortly after, a staff member approached, asking if we were ready to order, despite being aware of the circumstances. We chose to leave without dining. Due to this experience, I will not be returning, which is unfortunate, as I genuinely enjoy their food.

Mediterranean veggie wrap: It takes someone special to make a veggie dish into something so sinfully delightful, that makes me looking forward to shoving the next bite into my maw while the first bite is still in there. Mazipan iced latte: Caramel and cinnamon, with chopped up graham cracker crust (like the bottom of a cheesecake) to slurp up and chew on like boba. This is the star of the show. Soooo goooooood. Fantastic place.

Hubby ordered the jalapeño cream cheese crepe. His was very meh looking. My sandwich was tasty. After savory foods, we shared the s'mores crepe. It was good. Nothing amazing, but a good, solid crepe. There were plenty of tables for the small place and service was nice enough. They brought the food out to us after we ordered at the counter. I had wanted to have a coffee to accompany my dessert crepe, but all the had were frou from sweet coffee drinks. I asked the staff if they had regular drip coffee, but she asked if I wanted a latte or mocha... so they didn't know how to make straight coffee or even basic espresso drinks. That was unfortunate, so I walked down the street to the coffee shop to get one and come back. Oh well.

Even today Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 8pm (they close at 9) there was a steady stream of ice cream enthusiasts. They have so many loved flavors and some unique flavors such as mushroom and ginger. I should have tried them, but as I stated earlier I wasn't in the mood for ice cream. As much as I started not in the mood, I ate half his ice cream scoop. It was nice and soft.
