I came in last weekend and the biscuit with jelly tasted like we never skipped a day together. I got the last one of the day too, so it felt like it was meant to be. By far they have some of the best baked goods any coffee shop has. I always stick to the lattes, they can be a bit sweet so I ask for less sugar when I'm getting a flavored one. I also tried the butterfly lemonade this time and it was a perfect blend of flavor. I love the community feel of the location. Lots of tables inside and plenty of space to sit outside. They also had local art up on the wall, some of the items were already sold - would be great to have some prints on hand. I always buy their stickers at the counter too. Overall, such a gem.

Hopefully, next time I can enjoy a glass of wine, too!

The workers must be used to the looks of customers looking at the menu wondering what to order. We ordered some of the homemade breakfast pastries.(In the display case, some items specifically state homemade. Some not labeled look a lot like Costco pastries). We searched for a coffee shop near Upper Lake, and Double D's popped up…read more We decided to try it. It was about 10AM Sunday morning, the town of upper lake is quiet. We drove up to the business and there were only 2 patrons inside. There were 2 nice young ladies working here this morning. They pleasantly took our order (2 coffees, 2 croissants). It was nice that the croissants were freshly made (Ham and cheese), not frozen or in a pre-made bag. The two coffees (1 Blended iced mocha, 1 caramel blended) were very good. Our first impression wasn't good because there are tables and chairs out front - they were dirty, I could think of why anyone would want to sit here. YUCK! At least put a tablecloth over the disgusting table. We were staying at the Robinson rancheria casino, and usually get coffee here. But for the last month, their frothing machine and ice blends are broken, with not timeline as to when they will get fixed. So, we made the short 2-mile drive to Double D's. This will be my go-to place for coffee from now on. Please clean or replace the table so we can sit outside. This is the only reason for 4 starts and not 5 stars

I can't get Custard filled maple bars in Virginia so while I can I have one! The donut was good, not as light as I'm use to (like from another donut shop in Ukiah) but the cream was yummy and had a lot of Maple frosting. The Thai iced tea was not to my liking. It didn't have enough of the sweetness I'm use to in Thai Iced tea. I ended up throwing away half of it. It's very limited seating - about 6 chairs facing the window. I understand why due to the location and the amount of unhoused people in the area. It makes sense. Customer service was ok- I was greeted when I walked in - which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a place to try some new drinks this could be the spot. Donuts - limited and not to my liking.
