The food was amazing! The service was quick and efficient. Why do these reviews need to be so long?

i have been visiting this store for several years now and have known the owner sice she ran a different doughnut shop in Ukiah. i usually pay with a card and always buy 2 doughnuts but was told i can't use a card unless i spend $5 or more. i have paid less than $5 with a card there for years for purchases under $5 but was refused yesterday. i find this surprising and insulting. one of her employees encouraged her to accept my payment but she refused. i will not go back there again. read more

I asked the worker for vegan donuts and he said there's none. Sigh. Sad because someone mentioned they had vegan donuts.

This place has consistently come across as rude. I believe the woman who helped me may be the owner, and unfortunately, this wasn't my first negative experience with her. If I could offer one piece of feedback, it would be to be more welcoming and kind to customers who are choosing to support your business. A little friendliness goes a long way. read more

It's a solid 3 stars for me. Not terrible. Everyone working there seems unhappy except this one teenage kid who seemed to have a conscientious understanding of customer service. I almost always get the veggie bagel sandwich (#13 I think?) and boba drinks sometimes... good and consistent, hence 3 stars. Good coffee. Last I checked the bathroom isn't available. Not only do, they have delicious fresh donuts, not such a wide variety, but now they offer mochi donuts, but they also offer bagels and croissants all freshly made right there. I'm in Ukiah, just wrapped up work and wanted a donut. Preferably a chocolate glazed cruller. How can you NOT choose Happy Donuts & Bagel? I got photos of inside and out. Fast, friendly service. Server was sympathetic in delivering the news that crullers are only served on weekends. Next choice, chocolate bar! Super fresh and delicious. The icing is pretty traditional, not the frosting-like icing on Safeway donuts. I got these to go, but the dining area was neat and clean. As was the restroom. I hope to be back up here again soon! Whenever I visit my bf, we make a quick stop at Happy Donuts & Bagel only to get the boba tea. I like the Thai milk tea with soymilk and boba. My bf's go-to is the Thai milk tea slush with extra boba. Both are very good, and the boba is pretty fresh. Fast service as well. read more

Wowza this place does a booming business! They make damn fine donuts, super soft and warm, they melt in your mouth! They also make bagel sandwiches. Funny thing though, there is a sign on the wall that says you cannot order more than 3 bagels UNLESS YOU CALL THEM A DAY AHEAD????!!! WTF?! I have never seen a business with a case full of bagels tell customers they can't buy something! I gotta admit I thought I was being punk'd... Or at the risk of giving away my age I expected someone to yell Candid Camera! They also have good coffee. A sign said they have cappuccino I didn't see any. But they have self serve coffee in thermoses. A case of bottled juices & teas available for purchase. As well as Boba's. A solid find for a quick treat or breakfast. Aight this place is pretty dope. We come. We get the Boba. We drink and eat the Boba. I enjoy this exchange. They also have a crapload of donuts and bagels and stuff like that. We tried some donuts today and they were quite delicious. And this was toward the end of the day, so I'm betting some bottom dolla that the ones in the morning are super stupid good. This Bahn Mi was the most authentic, delicious one I have ever tried across the US! And so many varieties of meat! Light soy sauce, onion, cucumber, butter, Mayo on there too.... so many layered flavors. I didn't have to dig for vegetables like all the other restaurants, they were beautifully topping the sandwich and perfectly pickled-you can taste the bright refreshing ginger from the pickling, and full of meat! Grilled pork that almost tasted like it was in the smoker to me, plus a peanut sauce and crushed peanut on top?! Even the bread was perfectly flakey toasty crust, not hard to chew-we appreciate all your hard work chef! My husband loved the head cheese and pate one just as much. The team was all SO friendly, genuinely happy and smiling, very welcoming environment. Thai tea is my favorite and it's yummy here, I tried it with the brown sugar agar boba which is crunchy more like a jelly than chewy boba - so yummy! I wish we had room for donuts! I'm from the Bay Area, and was driving through Ukiah for a weekend trip. You cannot find better donuts! The key to good donuts is the dough, not the glazing or frosting, and this shop makes it so well. The texture is fluffy and light, making for a delicious snack. This place is bomb! I've tried a lot of different things on the menu thru door dash and I've tried quite a few things now. The donuts are pretty good and have a great flavor, not overly oily or anything. Their bagels with egg are good but I don't recommend the ones with bacon because it isn't very well cooked. Everything else is good. Their bagels can hold up to being a sandwich and are also good just with cream cheese. The jalapeño bagel is hot but is soooo good, i highly recommend if you can handle the heat. Price is also fair , even when door dash runs up the tab LOL. read more

Visited for the first time, important things to know. There is a sign that states you can only hang around for an hour after buying food so this isn't like starbuck where you can chill all day. No animals are allowed except service animals. And if you pay with debit then there is a $5 minimum or a $.50 charge. That being said the vanilla bean milk slush was yummy. Had my woman go in for me since I'm out on knee surgery. I texted her an order that she read off to the workers. They gave her the wrong drink. When she asked to get it corrected they made her pay for a new drink completely. Then when I called to ask why, because I go here everyday, they argued with me and told me we ordered it wrong. Terrible service. And if I'm honest all the food is very cheaply made and they always have a snot nosed brat screaming in the back. The family and I love to stop in here for breakfast here when we get the chance. Typically we order enough to get our total above $5 as that is the minimum for using a debit card. I am a little concerned about prices being padded here though. This morning my wife ordered the Egg Veggie Bagel ($4.99) and I ordered the plain and basic Egg w/ cheese ($3.25)...basic math says that total is $8.24. Even adding sales tax it doesn't come close to the price I paid of $11.25. I don't see anywhere posted a surcharge for debit card use...sketchy practices guys. read more

I used to love going here but when I went to the bathroom something fell off of the door handle. Me not over thinking it thought it was just paint that might of fallen off. when I was using the restroom there was cockroaches crawling all over the floor. There wasn't just one there was about 10.
