After my car getting rear ended this place was among the authorized dealers for my car brand. Very close to home and centric I made my plannings with them. What drew my attention is the service of car rental (Enterprise) right on premises and a quick delivery of service. The establishment is clean and spacious to receive clients however communication across teams can be a little wonky and not quickly transmitted. Staff seems to be very helpful but at the same time, unless the service staff you are already assigned to is around, it does not seem like any of the other agents are very interested in helping, even while they are at their desks sitting with their phones. While and when my assigned agent has been available, Ian, he has been attentive and customer service oriented. I still need to bring my car back a month later for a piece that was placed and is faulty. The part is ordered and at shop, scheduling has not taken place (i will just attribute it to the recent winter storm). read more

Thought I would keep my Lexus all Lexus by using the dealer's body shop. Think again. This place, in my opinion, is a criminal enterprise. I had a bumper panel knocked out of place by rubbing against a pile of snow and ice. In the true spirit of "to a hammer, everything looks like a nail" the criminal service representative proposed a nearly $4,000 solution to a $400 problem, 900% overcharge. In the process, he showed me what was wrong and I thought I could fix it myself. Turns out, using my fist, a putty knife, and 10 minutes and the problem was 95% solved. The remaining 5% is unnoticeable and can be ignored on a six model year old vehicle. This fellow was a body shop employee and knew, or should have known, that what he was proposing was an outrage of unnecessary and needless work. read more

I brought my Jeep Wrangler in for repair after I had had an accident. I brought it in for someone to take photos and then I was able to schedule when I could drop off my car and pick up a rental car. When going over the car while the gentleman was taking photos, I had also explained that there was vibration coming from somewhere up front while driving the Jeep and I had noticed it after the accident. He said he would ensure that the service advisor I had would know about it. After the Jeep was what I had thought was repaired still had the vibration after I had picked it up. My husband took it back the next day not only because they didn't even try to fix it, there were other issues that they did not do a good job with when fixing my Jeep (ex. the paint on the hood was not blended well together and you could see the circles in the paint after it dried as well as a finger print on the edge of the hood. they didn't adjust my headlights properly as one of them was slanted towards the ground). Because they did not fix the vibration when asked, I had to pay out of pocket to get items fixed to reduce the vibration since they ignored it when submitting the original claim to my insurance. It is unfortunate how they have not only lost myself as a customer here after swearing by how great they are but they also have lost my family as customers who also used Lindsay Collision as a place to go for car accidents. read more

If you want to spend your resources at an establishment that values your business as a customer this is also, not the place for you. On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 2:27 PM., Ms. Karen the receptionist exhibited no professionalism. In addition to no professionalism she even threatened to get into a verbal altercation with me. The manger-Mr. Nicholson, not only supported Ms. Karen's behavior but he even penalized me. I was refused service, and the rationalization Mr. Nicholson gave was "there have been multiple instances where you requested management to be involved." His assertion has no relevance to the incident that transpired on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 2:27 PM. Mr. Nicholson exhibits a personal bias which has impaired his judgement. I had a good rapport with Lindsay Collision Center Springfield, but now my integrity, and reputation is being diminished by fraudulent claims. Bad company. First when I entered the premises, there was a junk 2x4 wood that was in front of their driveway that hit my car. I had to get this fixed for 528/- and they said that had fallen from a dump truck and they are not responsible for keeping their driveway entrance clean. Good luck any one trying to drive there. In addition, they added a windshield that has a rain sensor when trying to replace my Lexus windshield that did not have a rain sensor. This was an extra 100/- upcharge. It was corrected after pointing out. Then they wrote an estimate for my car repair and did not show the correct paint. This would have been a major issue had I given them the repair. Also the management was very rude and only apologized after I requested one. Did end up taking to another place. Bad name for Lexus as well. Highly recommend avoiding them. read more

I was involved in a fender bender back at the end of the JULY. USAA sent me too Lindsey where Todd did an estimate, told me the car was drivable and that they would order parts and we set a date for repair for 8 AUG. In his defense he did say once they got the bumper off they may be more damage. I was told it should take 7-10 days. I told Lindsey and my insurance I wouldnt need a rental car as I was going to be out of the country. While out of the country in the first week of AUG I received a text from Todd @ Lindsey saying my car wouldnt be ready until mid-SEP due to a parts issue. I told him my insurance wasn't going to cover a rental for that long and he said 'he'd see what he could do'. Now I returned back to the State on 18 AUG and got a rental, my rental runs out this Friday and I will be without a car for another 5-7 days. I called Todd and he claims that KIA sent Lindsey the wrong parts for my car twice. I told him this was his and Lindsey's issue not mine. If two companies cant get their parts order straight why am I expected to be penalized. I said I expected Lindsey to get me a loaner or rental for the remaining time. 35 days and counting . Todd responded directing my to KIA customer service, which after 90 minutes of holding I hung up. In this day and age I would expect better from such a large company as Lindsey. My Jeep was rear-ended on 495, and the spare tire mounting on the back of the vehicle was bent out of position. Erie Insurance, held by the other party, did a great job providing options. I took the Jeep to Lindsay, and worked with Troy, one of their guys. I expressed that I would simply like it repositioned if possible. I know that they would have made more money replacing the carriage, etc. But instead Troy respected my request and they bent it back into position in less than 30 minutes while I waited, and then I went on may way, saving everyone's time and $. Unfortunately, I have had to visit Lindsay Collision Center several times due to the few accidents I have been in over the years. Each time my experience, with the Lindsay service agents, has always been pleasant. They do everything in their power to make the process as easy as possible. For your convenience, there are several insurance agents (Allstate, Gieco, State Farm) on site that can help you with your insurance claim. There is an Enterprise Car Rental available to put you in a temporary car. Lastly, Lindsay also have a shuttle service that will take you to and from the nearby metro station. So how is the quality of the autobody service? AMAZING! PERFECTION! I have had two different cars serviced here: a 2005 Volkswagan Jetta and a 2013 Lexus ES Hybrid. In both instances, they were able to perfectly restore the body of the car and match the paint color. So much so, that you would never know that the car was in any form of an accident. I had my car repaired at this center years ago. Then a few months ago, I was sideswiped by a lady and I went to Ted Britt Collison Center in Alexandria, Va to get my car fixed. I was so upset that the paint of the side of my car did not match the hood. I went back to the dealership to get it fixed but they refused to fix it. Anyway, forward a few months later, I bumped another person and I decided to go back to Lindsay Collison center and they replaced the previous damage and all the paint was fixed. Alright, as I'm sure most people feel, it's never good to have to come to a collision center. It's like the hospital for your car. You never want to be here, but when you do - you need to have people who can take care of you and make everything ok. My experience with collision centers is extremely limited, as I've never been in an accident which required me to have body work done. Years ago I had my car broken into and had my interior worked on as my entire dashboard was destroyed when my stereo was stolen... and my experience was mediocre at best. Over a month ago I was involved in an accident where my passenger side door and fender were severely dented, as well as my quarter panel below the door. This is on my 2015 MY car that had about 9k miles on it! I was heartbroken and distraught to say the least... Enter Lindsay Collision. After calling USAA to report the claim, I selected Lindsay based on their reputation. USAA and Lindsay both assured me that all new, OEM parts would be used for the repairs and that all work will be guaranteed for the life of the vehicle as long as I own it. I was able to drop off my car the day after the accident and pick up a rental USAA had arranged for me. I only had to walk about 20 steps from where I dropped my baby off to the Enterprise counter where my temporary wheels were waiting on me. The repair took several weeks (which was expected, and I was informed of this at the beginning when I dropped off my car). I don't know if anyone had even wrecked one of these new cars yet, but I was assured that the car would be repaired to factory specs and would be as close to perfect as possible. When I picked up my car, I was BLOWN AWAY with the quality of repairs! You really cannot even tell that there was ever any damage. Everything is perfectly straight. I didn't have a scratch on my car before I was hit, and now it's back to the same condition. Lindsay knocked this one out of the park, and took care of everything for me. I dropped my 2017 RX350 about 3 weeks ago for front and rear repair. We went to pick up the car today to find out only the front was fixed. I also requested for an extra key fob which I already paid for. They then told me it wasn't record in their system so I have to repay for it. So now I have to go through my cc statement to make sure they did not charge me twice. All in all the whole experience was extremely frustrating. The person I speak to don't accept responsibility and keep blaming other departments (service and collision) for their mistake. I was dealing with Jay at Service and Martin De La Cruz at Collision the whole time. I am not saying it was their fault because I truly don't know who's fault it is. But someone needs to step up and take responsibility. I would never come back. Ruth, please ask Martin at Collision of all the times that he communicated with me have I ever not return his call or email within 24 hours? I am a very responsive person. I was never once got an email or a voicemail about an authorization to fix the rear bumper when Martin was on vacation. This was a mishap on their part. About the third key fob. The issue I had was that I am sure I already paid for the third one through a link that was send to my mother over the phone. When I spoke with Jay in service, he told us that there were no record of us paying for the third key fob. As such we had to pay again. I now have to go through my cc statement to make sure you guys didn't already charge me twice which is a nuisance. I am sure this is a glitch in the system. I was impressed by the level of service that I received. There was a quick estimate of work by the Geico express folks when I dropped my car off. I was quickly placed in a rental by the enterprise staff and was on my way in no time. My car was ready to go in about a week. Each step was flawless in terms of communication. I always knew the status of my vehicle, and it was finished on time. Upon picking up my car, the center made sure to wash and detail the car. A huge surprise and a nice touch to be sure. If you're looking for a place to have some body work done, and especially if you're a customer of Geico (due to them having staff on site), look no further than here. It's worth it in order to get quality repairs. They also feature a lifetime guarantee of work in the rare event of a future mechanical flaw being caused by their work. *My only real complaint would be the license plate holder they used to replace the one that was damaged. (I am listing this review under both Lindsay Collision Center-Springfield and Caliber Collision, because both are equally culpable.) I used the Lindsay Collision Center-Springfield once before, many years ago, and they did excellent work. So when an accident repair done last year by Caliber Collision failed this summer, I chose Lindsay to make it right. Unfortunately, I found that Lindsay "ain't what they used to be". John Michael from Lindsay, along with one of his Techs and Angus, the Geico adjuster looked at my car. They all observed a half dozen things that Caliber had done wrong with the original repair. While I was standing there, they pulled a large dried piece of glue from behind the front fender that was sticking out. Embedded in it was what appeared to be a chrome letter from another vehicle. They said that a tab on the inside of the fender had been broken in the original accident, and instead of replacing the fender as they should have, Caliber had just glued it together, using the chrome letter as a make-do spacer. Both Lindsay and Geico agreed on the list of parts that were needed to repair my car correctly. John Michael promised to call me when the parts arrived. Days and then weeks passed, but I never heard from John Michael or Lindsay about my car parts, so I called several times, leaving messages for John Michael. He never called. I finally reached someone at Lindsay (two weeks later) who told me that my parts were in, but that they were so busy they would have to schedule an appointment for me a week later. When that day came, my car was at a repair shop with a headlight issue, so I told Lindsay I would need to reschedule. They told me the earliest I could get back in line would be another week. So, four weeks after I first brought my car to Lindsay, I was finally able to drop my car off to them. Unfortunately, the morning I did, John Michael was nowhere to be found and no one knew anything about my car. Another Lindsay person, Justin agreed to step in and help, though he was clearly not happy about it. Once he finally got my car checked in, Justin took me to the Enterprise counter that is located at Lindsay. There I discovered that no one had reserved a car for me. An hour and a half later, they offered me the only thing they had available - a Jeep (I normally drive a Lincoln) - with Lindsay telling me my repairs would be complete in 2-3 days. Two days later, I called Lindsay and ask for an update. They told me that Caliber had been protesting Lindsay's claim that the workmanship was at fault and so Lindsay had not started on my car. I asked to speak with the original team of John Michael from Lindsay and Angus the Geico adjuster who all agreed that it was Caliber's poor workmanship. They told me that John Michael 'is no longer with the company'. When I asked to speak with Angus, they instead referred me to a new adjuster, Nichole, who had now determined that the damage to my car is new and not related to Caliber at all. Nichole said that it looked as if I had had a new accident which broke off the inside fender tab. As a result, she told me I needed to file a new claim with Geico. When told Nichole that the original Geico/Lindsay inspection had found that the tab was broken from the initial accident and that Caliber had glued it back together, she admitted that she didn't know anything about that, but she said it was still her determination that a new accident had broken the tab. Justin from Lindsay actually argued with me, though Caliber may have glued the fender because the tab was broken from the original accident, the glue which they should not have used, would not have come loose without a new impact. (Try following that logic.) Since both Lindsay and Geico insisted that the fender sticking out was new damage (contradicting the original Geico adjuster, Angus, and John Michael who both agreed that it was Caliber's fault), I finally gave in and filed a new claim with Geico for the old damage which made everyone happy... but me. If you ever wonder why auto body repair is so expensive, it's got to be due, at least in part, to crazy situations like this. The insurance company will pay, so who cares? Apparently, not even the insurance company. Though Lindsay is only part of this dizzying debacle, they are definitely the enabler. And I will definitely NOT be back. (Note: I wrote this review in 2018 but just discovered that I never posted it.) read more

Soooooo it's sad to say that I've been here once before this visit when someone hit my car. The first time, back in 06/2012, someone hit my car while parked (bumper) and it was caught on a surveillance camera, so I found the driver and his insurance allowed me to bring it here. It was repaired well within the estimated time and everything was covered by the other driver's insurance. I was 100% satisfied with the work and service! Well, someone hit my bumper once again, in early July 2015, so back to the collision center I came. Every staff member greeted me immediately upon driving up - Classic Lindsay customer service, ensuring that you have been acknowledged - and I checked in with the front desk. Kara was my assigned advisor and explained the process of repairing my car thoroughly. She kept in constant contact via text message and phone calls to ensure that I knew the status of my car. Kara was very, very professional and thorough every single time she contacted me. She was GREAT and provided such awesome service!!! My car was completed one day sooner than promised, so I was super excited to know that I could enjoy it just before the weekend started. I picked up my car and it was FLAWLESS!!! Not only did they repair my bumper to perfection, they detailed and delivered it to me SPOTLESS!!! Go to Lexus dot com or call their corporate office to find out where the real Lexus certified collision centers are located in the US. In my experience it is wise to avoid any collision center that is NOT certified by the vehicle's manufacturer. This is especially true for luxury or high performance vehicles. Furthermore it is wise to avoid ANY collision center that is "preferred" by an insurance company. Do your research and you will learn how both insurance companies and certain preferred collision centers work together to increase their bottom lines at your expense. Due to supply issues, my car was in the shop for about 7 weeks but Lindsay was very communicative and helpful, keeping me apprised of the status. Plus they did an excellent job! Lindsay Collision Center deserves nothing short of 5 stars. I've unfortunately had to use them three times over the past 5 years (twice in a 4runner and the most recent in my 2017 mustang). From drop off to pick up, Lindsay Collision Center texted me to inform me of where my cars were through the process. Not only were they beyond informative they assured me my car would look better than new. With the 4Runner (both times) I worked with Kara. Recently with the mustang I worked with Patricia. Kara and Patricia truly made the entire process as smooth as can be. They went above and beyond excellent customer service. Both took their time with me to ensure I was happy and satisfied with all the work that was done to my vehicles. The 4runner has been out about 5 years and the paint is still amazing and matched the car PERFECTLY. The mustang which had some metallic flakes was also MATCHED and blended to look better than brand new. I would recommend Lindsay Collision Center to anyone who wants perfection while saving money. Definitely a great place to get your car fixed. I had to get some cosmetic repairs on the front of my car after an accident. Although the majority of parts that are used are after-market, the repairs made at Lindsay Collision Center left my car looking good as new. Apparently, the accident also caused parts of the air conditioning system to be repaired. After the repair, when I turned on the AC, a weird noise would start up. It was a hassle having to go back to the collision center to get the problem resolved because you expect the repairs to be perfect. Yet, the additional fix only took a couple of days and the staff member assisting me with the entire claim was helpful and nice. Moreover, there is a lifetime warranty on all the parts repaired, so that's a plus. You can also use Enterprise in the same building, which is convenient in case you need a rental while your car is getting fixed. The team is quick to serve and they are very clear about everything that needs to be known when renting a car. Overall, if you need your car fixed after an accident, this is a great one stop shop for a good repair and car rental service. read more

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. Pathetic service. Drove from NYC to get my car fixed. After a day of dropping it off, they declined to work on it just because I had a my doors temporarily fixed. The agent and the supervisor were both not understanding and kept pushing on their point without being reasonable and providing me any cushion. I'm a financial markets analyst in Manhattan and haven't come across such client interaction. My friends who recommended this place are also surprised and will NOT be using their service anymore. If you are reading this I'd appreciate that you don't give them any business so they can come to a realization that every customer matters. Secondly, the process to get me a rental was also very painful. First they denied me a rental and than eventually arranged for a rental after a long wait. Although not Lindsay Collision Center's total fault but the service desk advisers or manager on duty should have removed the very aggressive Geico adjuster working there today in the drive thru lane. I had a VERY bad experience with this Geico adjuster who was very aggressive, got into my face (3x), point his finger in my face saying "what you're going to do about it", very hostile, extremely unprofessional. I felt threaten and worried about my two toddlers in my car. All the service advisers working today did not try to help or called a manager on duty to remove this unprofessional Geico adjuster name "Eric" or report him to Geico. Yet everyone just watched. Regardless of what transpired in the lane and into the service desk area, no one tried to intervene. I had to remove myself from the scene and left. Lindsay should vet insurance adjuster before they contract or hire them or have Geico properly screen before allowing them to work in the lane or with Lindsay. Whatever you do, if you care about quality work, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE GUYS: We've had occasion to use Lindsay's collision service, twice, in the seven year lifetime of our Saturn. The first time was when my wife got in a fender bender leaving the parking lot of a local shopping center. The second time was when someone cutting through our neighborhood hit our Saturn. The first incident was in 2005. It required the replacement of the metal hood. Within about 8 months of the fix, the paint job they'd done was bubbling up and peeling. The second incident was a month and a half ago. It took them FOREVER to get parts. After 2.5 weeks in their shop (and many unanswered "where the hell is my car" phone calls), they finally called to tell me it was ready. When I went to pick the truck up, I was NOT pleased with the results: * they'd not bothered to seat the panels flush to each other * the gas cap door wasn't flush with the surrounding panel * they'd over-sprayed the entire area of the gas cap, so that what was once just shiny, finished metal was now completely covered in black paint * the vehicle, which prior to the collision, drove smoothly now shudders and shakes at highway speeds (fortunately, I guess, you can't often hit highway speeds in the DC Metro area) and pulls to the left. Nothing can be done about the over-paint. What's done is done. Before I drove off the lot, I was able to get them to reseat the panels, but the fuel door still isn't seated right relative to its panel. The panels are only sorta flush with each other. So, I'm guessing they still aren't right. When I discovered the handling issue, it was a few days after the pickup when I was driving down I95 towards Richmond. They agreed to take it back in and address the issue, but, blamed it on the tires being worn (funny, prior to the collision and their "repairs", there'd been no shudder at highway speeds - if the wear was causing it, one wonders how that could be). At this point, they insist that I need to buy a new set of tires before they'll do anything further about the shuddering. So, while the quality of the 2005 repair was merely annoying, the most recent event shows that this wasn't a one-off problem but part of a long history of shoddy work. read more

I've been here more times than I'd like to admit to fix entirely self-induced/non-traffic scrapes (my specialties are poles and parking lots) and each time LCC has saved my life (while simultaneously shattering my savings account). I've wondered if I'm being taken advantage of since I fall into the "I don't know how cars work" demographic, but the bottom line is, I want my car looking brand new every time I acquire an imperfection and that's what LCC does. This place is a way's away, but they will pick up and drop off your hoop-d for free. They're pretty quick and if you ever have to make a call here, count on Harold, he's my Patron Saint of Scratches. They were really easy to work with. Right from scheduling an appointment and dropping off my car to repair updates and final pick up, all went smooth. My car looks as good as new. Also, having Enterprise Rental onsite made it super convenient to get a rental car during the repair. read more

UPDATE: I reached out to them and told them about the stuff that I mentioned below. They were really nice and gave my car a full detailing. My car looks great now. Shout out to Justin, he was really helpful. I took my car here because it was rear ended. They replaced the trunk and the repair looks good as new. They facility is really nice and the crew is really attentive. But when I got my car back it was really dirty, dust everywhere, my car was pretty clean when I dropped it off. Also, there's white paint on the steering wheel and the area around the cover of the shift lock,, including the shift locks cover, is really scratched. read more

Well, things happen. Fortunately for car insurance and auto body shops, you can put the unpleasant memory behind you. This was my first accident with my SUV (and hopefully ONLY) and I was really cautious about what body shop to take her to. State Farm recommended Lindsay and I knew of their reputation in the area of being a good shop. So, I had her towed here. Three weeks later (a week after they said she would be ready - not Lindsay's fault, General Motors fault) she was as good as new - maybe better! The customer service was superb! Because parts were not available in DC, they were ordered from GM, which took longer than usual. They did a GREAT job of keeping me in the loop. I know they could tell I was getting more annoyed each day. The shop is very, very clean. Waiting area is nicely kept - felt more like a dealership than an auto body shop. The Enterprise car rental here is fantastic! They get a star on their own!! Don't hesitate to take your car here - they are great! read more
