Coming back from the beach a stupid dump truck spat gravel and cracked my sunroof. Good feelings gone! They were polite enough and were prompt with a response. I did have to wait a few days for the part to arrive but wasn't horrible. I left my car for most of the day. Progressive had referred them to me, and since my deductible was higher that the repair I didn't bother to file a claim but they honored the quote I had received. I brought my '04 VW GTI here for body work. After obtaining quotes from other shops, I found this one to be the least expensive option. When I dropped my car off, they gave me a ride to the WMATA station nearby. They did a great job on my car and maintained contact with me after several weeks, since rust ended up on some hidden places that needed to be replaced as well. They also agreed to maintain the appropriate parts that didn't need replacement and transferred them to the new body parts. Unfortunately my truck was deemed totaled by the insurance company but i think a 5 star review is still warranted here for this company. For me, it's customer service. At the start they gave me a lightning quick free estimate. Then they were top notch helpful and transparent through the whole process and timing of tow, disassemble, and communication with the insurance company. Quickly estimated the cost and got it to the insurance company in less than 24 hours. Found out mid way through the process that my wife has taken her car here twice for minor fixes but was also very happy with the service, thus, "twice". Haven't had body work done here myself but given the quality of the people and service, this will be our go to body shop from here on. read more

I took my vehicle to Premier Collision for body work. The service and the work were disappointing. Furthermore, when I dropped off my vehicle it had recently been serviced and was running with no problems. When I picked it up, I drove it less than a mile and then it broke down had to be towed. I was stranded after dark for almost 2 hours, and now I need over 8K in repairs. The first time they informed me my vehicle was ready, I arrived and found that all of the work hadn't even been completed. The second time they notified me that my vehicle was ready, I arrived and found that there was a problem with the paint job that needed to be fixed. The next issue is they quoted me one price for paint and body work, but then charged me a much higher price. When I asked for a detailed invoice that showed what additional work had been completed that justified the higher price, they couldn't provide one. They told me it was complicated and they understood what work had been completed, but it was hard to explain. When I contacted Premier Collision regarding the mechanical problem that occurred right after I picked up my vehicle, I was told that they had driven the vehicle and had no issues with it while it was in their shop. Even if it's a coincidence that after a dispute about price, my vehicle which was working fine before I took it to Premier Collision now needs over 8k in repairs, I still was very dissatisfied with their work and the customer experience was terrible. Long review: A few months ago, I hit a deer on the county parkway. I prefer to take my vehicles to the Subaru dealership and or to body shops that they recommend. Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts, I decided to take my car to a State Farm in network shop which in hindsight, was a decision I would regret. The in network body shop for State Farm located in Centreville, VA screwed up and I had supplemental damage left with my vehicle. I lost faith in the in network shop so I contacted Premier Collions Repair. After spending a few minutes talking with the guys, I knew I was in the right place. They phenominal job and I will come back to these guys for future work. In my humble opinion, they should be the shop that is in the State Farm network and not the place I went to originally. I don't know much about cars (or car repairs), but he answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. He explained my options in detail and broke down my quote so I knew exactly how much it would cost. I never felt pressured or like I was getting sales tactics used on me; the experience was very respectful. After visiting a few other body shops in the area, I came back to Premier. Premier had the best quote and was the only body shop that treated me with respect. Vick called me a few days later when he got the parts in (so I could keep my car as long as possible) and the car was in-and-out exactly on time, at the quoted price. These guys made me a customer for life! I came back from a week of travel to find what I thought was significant paint damage to my hood. Took it to a different highly reviewed repair shop where I had previously had insurance covered damage repaired, they told me it would cost $700 to strip and repaint the entire hood. Brought my car to PCR and they actually took the time to really inspect the "damage" and found that it could simply be buffed out in 15 minutes! These guys are great, they actually care about helping their customers, even brand new ones who have never been there before. I got an online quote within a couple of hours after being in an accident. The quote was less than other shops. I brought the car in and they ordered the parts. They didn't have me drop the car off until the parts arrived so I wouldn't be without the car for too long. They estimated the repairs would take 7 days but they only took 4. Everything looked like new. The staff was extremely friendly and didn't push any repairs or services I didn't request. The final bill was under the estimate. The total was about $500 less than my insurance estimated so it saved me a bunch of money. Disclaimer: The guys at the front desk (Jerel, Vic, Sabeoh) were always very polite and professional. I don't have anything bad to say about them. However, this place does shoddy work, and they damaged my car. This winter, rust started forming on the top of my VW's front wheel wells, and I wanted it fixed. VW has a 120k rust warranty, so I visited Sheehy VW in Springfield to see what they would do for me. The service tech (Erin) and the warranty manager (Terry) were great, and submitted a claim to VWoA. A few days later, they said VW would replace the fenders. First pick up: I left with Sheehy the car on a Friday, and someone from PCR came to pick it up. I get a call on Monday from Erin at VW, telling me she received a vm from PCR saying "my motor blew up". I went to check it out. I popped the hood, and there was coolant all over the engine bay. The car started, so I wasn't too worried, but nonetheless, the tech who came to get my car kept driving it to the shop when they knew something was wrong, instead of pulling over and calling for a tow. Anyway, while I was there, I talked to Jerel about some additional work on my car. The underside of my hood was rusting, and VW wouldn't cover that, so I asked for a quote to repair it. I was told they can't just spray the underside of the hood, and they'd have to do the whole thing. That is BS, of course, but the top of my hood was chewed up with chips, so I was ok getting the whole thing sprayed to match my 2 new fenders. The car was done at the end of the week, but I had to have it towed to a repair shop as it was undrivable. It was pouring down rain, but I did a quick visual inspection of the car and, aside from excess rubbing/polishing compound all over the car, it looked ok. When I finally got the car back, I gave it a closer inspection. There was a lot of things I considered unacceptable. Deep scratches on my driver door glass in a 3"x3" area going in all directions, but mostly up and down. An area on my passenger front door (maybe 25 mm square) that had been buffed down to the bare metal and cleared over. The hood had not been sanded and prepped right, and there were painted-over rock chips visible along the hood edge. A paint bubble on the passenger side edge had also popped, revealing un-prepped white paint underneath. On the driver side, the fender attachment nut (a triple square) was stripped out so badly that they used channel locks to remove it from the side, marring it, and then they just reused it like I wouldn't notice. There were a few other issues as well, but I considered these especially unacceptable. I went back to PCR and showed them the issues. Jerel made excuses, citing "human error", but agreed to fix most of the problems. They would not assume any responsibility for the glass, however, which was predictable. I was told to circle anything I wanted fixed with a sharpie and bring it back at my leisure. I did so the same night. Second pick up: I walked around the car and it looked mostly ok at first glance. I get inside and I can't see out of the windshield. There is over-sprayed clear coat all over the windshield. I touch the roof, the fenders, the doors and almost every panel has over spray on it. I am told to call back the next day and set something up to get it fixed. So I do. In the interim, I notice dents in the top of my brand-new fenders. Also, upon closer inspection, I see the faint outline of green sharpie under the paint along the hood edge. They literally didn't even wipe off the sharpie before painting over it. There are other issues as well. Third pick up: I show up, at the end of the day, and I'm told the car is not ready, and it is not up to their standards. To do it right, they need a few more days. They let me borrow their shop car at this point, and Jerel is pretty frustrated but apologetic. Fourth pick up: They buffed off the touch-up paint they put on the bare metal, and there was a new door ding on the front passenger door, but panels were smooth, and I just wanted done with these people, so I left. Fast forward 3 weeks. There are small rock chips peppered all over both of my shiny new white front fenders. The paint is not adhering, and seems exceptionally thin. It practically rubs off on my fingers. It is very clear to me, as it should be to anyone, that they did not sand and prep the fenders prior to spraying. I go back to PCR and show them the chips and Jerel tells me "That's wear and tear, not our fault." Funny, my 10 year old fenders didn't have this problem. I immediately went back to Sheehy and showed them what was going on. They agreed with me that PCR cut corners and did a terrible job. Now I am being sent to another body shop to fix PCR's shoddy work. Every time I picked up my car there was new damage, and the work they did was very substandard. They either assume the customers won't know the difference, or they themselves don't know the difference. read more

My husband's vehicle was repaired, ON TIME, at a fair price AND price quoted, with no work for me on my part, other that writing the check (My repair was not an insurance claim - my teen did damage to the car).
