The diner is great but I'd love to know what they are smoking that they are charging $4.75 for a banana What planet are they on lol

They changed their price of soup from $12 to $14... I used to live on their matzo ball soup but I guess I'll be going elsewhere. Look through their prices, it's a joke and they repeatedly fuck with the food like when they were serving us the worst fries until enough of us complained. How this place survived over the other two diners blows my mind.

Boneless Wings

I visited with a large group (10 people) for the late night menu (we got there around 10:30). Service was a bit slow, likely because of the large quantity of orders. However, smaller groups that came after seemed to be getting their orders before us, despite getting similar items from the late night menu. Despite that, the food was good. Everyone enjoyed what they got. I only got the half dozen boneless wings, which were $5. The smoky bbq sauce was delicious but the drizzle was not nearly enough. I'd rather they be tossed like most places do wings. Overall, a good place with good prices for late night eats with friends. I would recommend if you like fried food late at night, just don't expect a quick trip since you may be waiting a while if your group is large.

A great neighborhood diner. Please support this diner ao it doesn't disappear like a bunch of others. Eat-in, take out or order delivery. They even have a reward program. Food is made fresh so it takes awhile. Portions are large. Food is delicious. They will accommodate your personal requests. The hubby loves the desserts in the showcase. They're bringing in more specials and aome media worthy drinks! Service is attentive. We've visited several times and will be back again soon. Bathrooms are unisex one seater. Check out the parrots in the nstreet. Top of the pole across the street. FYI, they partner for life!

Went in here for the first time. We ordered chicken fingers, a burger, and a salad. The portions are really generous. All the food was basic diner food but did taste good. I would recommend if you're in the area or just want a quick place to grab a bite. The service was a bit slow but it's ok.

As you can see, I didn't exaggerate how unappealing my food was.

I'm an older woman who doesn't enjoy food like I used to. A diner has always been my go to place because of the variety and the good food. I was excited to be returning to the Lindenhurst Diner especially after all the advertising they've been doing. I was very disappointed. I ordered the appetizer sampler and French onion soup. The food was so over cooked. The potato skins were dry and the cheese was burned. The "fried mozzarella" was like a brick. The picture is attached. I ordered a takeout burger platter for my son. Who ever heard of a burger platter with no pickle or cole slaw.

Entrance to the diner.

Everything a diner should be: great selection of dishes, everything made to the order, enormous portions, ample parking, good lighting, excellent acoustics. In addition to that the service is attentive, fast and with a smile. My final comment is that they take cleanliness very seriously: the place is spotless!

"French toast" consisting of plain texas toast and powdered sugar

My husband ordered french toast and they brought out a plate of three thick slices of Texas toast with powder sugar. We looked at it confused and each took a bite to confirm that it was actually plain toast. We told the waiter that the french toast seemed plain and was missing cinnamon or something. He doubled down and said they don't use cinnamon in their french toast. My husband gave up seeing this conversation was going nowhere and just ordered a short stack. If you are looking for a good plate of French toast I wouldn't recommend here.

Buffalo Caesar Chicken Wrap

Came here for lunch and dinner on separate occasions and would be eager to come back for breakfast as well. As it is naturally a diner staple. Atmosphere is exactly the traditional diner look you come to expect, plenty of bright colors and chrome, kicks you right in the nostalgia. But nothing is actually "old" either which is a plus. Both times I've gone staff have been friendly and helpful but just a touch slow to attend to my groups, but not egregiously so. Parking is pretty easy in the attached lot, plus some options on the side streets nearby if the place is really hopping. Food is very tasty and like any good, has a million choices to choose from. I've tried their Buffalo chicken caesar wrap, the chicken bacon ranch wrap, and the beef gyro. The gyro and the Buffalo Caesar were my favorite. Shout out to their fries though! Normally diner fries are nothing to write home to mom about, but their's are nice and crispy, and dare I say are nearly a highlight of the meal. One thing to appreciate as well, although I'm not vegan, they do offer a lot of vegan options, way more than any diner I've been to before. I was also very tantilized by their delicious sounding dessert options, but I controlled myself and saved it for another day. Prices are great for what you get, as things have got more expensive recently, the menu has managed to stay reasonable, making the bang for your buck feel a lot better.

Banana Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Delicious banana chip pancakes. So crispy and moist! Clean and would recommend checking this place out. Service was a little slow but probably a busy day or understaffed

Let me start off by saying, do not listen to the negative reviews, try this diner out! With that being said, it IS diner food, don't come in expecting Michelin star food and leave them a negative review. Little cozy diner off the road with great diner food. The waiter we had was super chill, had a quick laugh over the size of the food when I ordered. Smiled and laughs are definitely was a bonus. The other staff was super friendly as well. Definitely coming back here whenever we're back in Lindenhurst!

They were offering 50% off the bill before midnight, and they absolutely honored the promotion. This was my first visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The restaurant was packed, but the service was still on point. Our server gave us a heads-up that service might be a little slower due to the crowd, but honestly, we experienced no delays. Our food came out promptly, and the staff remained attentive throughout the evening. I ordered the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection, along with the fried rice, which was incredibly flavorful. The lamb chops normally come with mashed potatoes, but I requested fried rice instead, and our server happily accommodated the substitution without any issues. Everyone in my party had nothing but great things to say about their meals, and the drinks were also well made! Now, let's talk about the vibe! The DJ started at 10 PM, and I absolutely loved the music selection. If you enjoy a good mix of R&B, reggae, and soca, this is definitely a spot worth checking out! The atmosphere was lively, the energy was great, and the music made the experience even better. They also have a beautiful outdoor seating area with comfortable couches and high-top tables, which adds another nice touch to the space. Overall, Lionz Den delivered on the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere! It's always refreshing to visit a restaurant that's busy but still manages to provide a great dining experience. At nearly $600 for three people, I expected a lot more. The raw clams were some of the smallest I have ever been served, yet they had the audacity to charge $3 per clam. Same type of clams for the baked style as well so 2 terrible dishes off to start. Honestly, I would have been embarrassed to send portions like that out of the kitchen. The lamb chops I ordered were also shockingly small. The Chilean sea bass my girlfriend had was actually good and probably the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the steak my friend ordered was the complete opposite. It was extremely salty, and the supposed 24 ounce cut certainly did not look like 24 ounces of meat. The bone was impressively thick, but the actual meat was noticeably thinner than the bone. Not exactly what you expect when ordering a 24 ounce steak. The drinks were not much better. The martini we had at the bar was incredibly weak, and the caviar bump served from the cart was tiny and, frankly, underwhelming in quality. Service was good and the space has a nice atmosphere, and the live jazz was a nice touch but ultimately, you go to a steakhouse for the food, and that is where this experience completely fell apart. Nearly $600 for three people for food that was this inconsistent? Absolutely not worth it.

The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.
