Took my friend here for her birthday dinner and WOW! the oyster rockefeller was great, chicken limoncello and steak were outstanding and don't even get me started on the desserts! 10/10 recommend! shout out to Adam who was our waiter. Very knowledgeable and such a sweetheart! Did I mention he'll take your photo in front of the gorgeous Christmas decor?! Thank you for hosting us, Limoncello. We had a great experience! read more

A quaint boutique hotel with a friendly, accommodating staff. Went for dinner during Restaurant Week. Appetizers were appealing in presentation and delicious to the palate, as were desserts. Entrees, while offering varied choices, we're okay, but heavily salted. Would recommend with the proviso that the chef hold the salt! read more

Stuffed Salmon is delicious. Misha the bartender made me an outstanding Pear martini & the service at the bar is very attentive & great conversation. I love the ambiance elegant read more

Limoncello is not to be missed when in the OC. The cocktails, food and service are absolutely spectacular. Ask for Danny K. as your server - he is everything a server should be! read more

Saturday evening my Son and I visited Limoncello. It was a mixed bag. When we arrived, we thought we would be seated in the lovely dining room, but they said they were decorating that room for Christmas; so we ended up in a large room that wasn't very cozy and better suited for larger groups. I also didn't find it very pleasing that the carpet was stained. The wait staff, and our waiter in particular, were very friendly and efficient. Our waiter also had a great sense of humor. We ordered a bottle of Charles krug cabernet, which was really good. Foodwise my Son ordered salmon with risotto. He thought it was delicious. I wasn't so lucky with my food choices. I ordered a steamed mussel appetizer, and the mussels were not chewable, and the broth was terrible. (They did take the cost of this off our tab). I also ordered a salmon appetizer which was 5 slices of raw salmon with a tiny dab of caviar on each piece. It was okay, but not well marinated and nowhere near what you can get in a sushi place. For dessert we both had creme brulee, which was delicious, and coffeewise I had a Jamaican coffee and my Son had a cappuccino. Both were good. I probably won't return to this restaurant because I think there are better choices in the Middletown area, and I don't visit that often. read more

Overall, unimpressed with the food for the price of our meal, but the staff was attentive. Ambience: Dining room was very cold and uninviting. Service: Our waiter was lovely as was the staff Food: my husband got the tomahawk steak - it tasted bland and the sauce covering it tasted watered and overall just not well prepared. I ordered the duck but the skin was so peppery it was inedible. After taking the skin off the duck itself was fine. Overall nothing to rave about and likely won't return. read more

Absolutely delicious. Impeccable service. Friendly staff. Beautiful. Third time visit. Will be back.

this has always been one of my favorites places to dine. This past year they closed for renovation. i couldn't wait to see the new place . for those that don't know this restaurant is in and old brick historic hotel building in goshen and it's dining rooms have always fit the feel of the building. it's always been a warm and inviting dining room, with a great staff and wonderful food. they renovated and lost all its appeal. What happen??? Why? im in shock. you went from a beautiful restaurant that fit the building to a dining establishment that should be in a new Hilton. whom ever gave the ok for this should be fired. the service. the old place had the best waiters.. what did you do with them?? busboy christian i believe his name was. was excellent. waitress , was nice and pleasant but poor timing on and when and how to approach the table. The food runner who served the food, should make sure the customers have silverware. the menú, an iPad. really go back to menus. what waste and cheap way to present your menu. there is no class or sophistication. it's cheapens the place. the food, let's chat. my brother had the halibut special that looked amazing and tasted delicious. my sister in law had the scallops, they were good. myself i had the pasta with smoked salmon and caviar. when i saw this dish on the iPad menu picture it looked amazing, especially with the amount of caviar it showed. when my dish was served, uh wax there a caviar shortage? nothing like what was shown in the picture. food was good deserts excellent. im so disappointed in the decor of tus place. can't understand why they didn't keep sign the history and classic effect of this building, town and interior. oh the bar, really blue light up bar.. i'll think two before returning. So disappointed read more

Really great atmosphere! It is a beautiful place to dine in! The food is so good! So fresh and great quality! Definitely only needed one drink because those drinks were strong lol our waitress Michelle was very kind, and knowledgeable and the attention spent to us was great. The only thing separating my review from 5 stars was the price. It is a beautiful place and the food is great but this isn't 5th ave Manhattan. The prices are very very high. It was an occasion out for us so we weren't upset but we will only be back for large occasions because of the high prices. read more

Definitely will be coming back Go for it! read more

Nope. Strange they spent millions of dollars in renovation the result it's very disappointing. The place it's cold very sterile. We had reservations at 645 pm. Joseph was the host. Waiting for the host jack Berkowitz shows up he was right behind me. He keeps telling him I was there first. He skipped me shake his hand and direct him personally to his table. He never came back . We just linger waiting. Finally a nice Latin man came to our rescue the musician was drilling my ears with his voice and music. Really people! We sit outside, on a beautiful day suddenly a whiff of sewage, hey that's life shit happens. Our server was really nice the food was not. No towels in the men's bathroom. There are some stairs that probably go to the bedrooms no railing of any kind. It's a hazard. The area should be blocked. As someone said You will never forget how they make you feel. read more

The food and atmosphere are outstanding. We've had very good service and highly recommend!

Great food, service and atmosphere... what else could you ask for!!! Goshen is a nice area to be at with good street parking.

My friend and I went to Lemoncello for Lunch and we were blown away by how beautiful it was. We were greeted by the proprietor Luigi. This renovated boutique hotel/restaurant will soon have their rooms ready for occupancy. I loved that the menu was on a iPad with colorful photos and descriptions of every item. Impressive and diversified. The beautiful and knowledgeable bartender Renee made me a yummy Lychee Martini which is my favorite. We got the Octopus, Tuna Sashimi and the Foie gras. They were all delicious. We are now going to plan a baby shower here. There are dining rooms to choose from. My only regret is that we were not able to try the Duck Breast, because it's on the Dinner menu. I highly recommend Lemoncello and I will be back. read more

I would categorize this restaurant as upscale. There was always wait staff walking around the room insuring customers needs were fulfilled. With that said, we never felt uncomfortable. The food was so delicious. Everything from the appetizer to the desserts. Our server, specifically Danny, was funny and professional. We had an appetizer, entree, dessert and drinks for just under $200. The restaurant renovation was absolutely beautiful. read more

Service was outstanding and the food was excellent . This is a luxurious dining experience in a quaint village . Highly recommend.

Everything about this restaurant is top notch. I'm not much for giving reviews, I usually forget but this was too fabulous to skip. The staff (Adam was our waiter) were perfectly attentive without being over the top. Even the busboy/girls were fabulous. The food is exceptional, some of the best tasting and presented entrees I've ever had and seen anywhere. The appetizer was super creative and delicious. The entrees all sounded amazing so it was hard to pick from. We had the fettuccine Limone w/shrimp entree which was perfect right down to the homemade pasta and sauce. We also had the short ribs which isn't usually my thing but I haven't stopped craving it since we were there....absolute perfection. The Super Tuscan wine by the glass was an unbelievable find, poured into a big bulbous red wine glass which makes it that much better. Every moment and bite were beyond expectation.. I cant wait to return. I cant believe this is 15 min from my home and Ive never been here.... so much wasted time. Prices seemed overly fair, to be honest I'd pay more if I had to, It was that good. The inside decor is stunning and the outdoor seating was lovely and comfortable. read more

Amazing food and great service! Very knowledgeable and helpful for friend with gluten allergies

Dined there tonight for restaurant week and it was fantastic. I had to speak to Chris prior to this evening and he was very helpful and professional. He set everything up as requested, greeted me personally when I arrived and checked in before we left. Our waiter,Daniel, could not have been nicer or more friendly. He did an outstanding job of taking care of us, and I would hope I would have him as a waiter every time I dine there. The rest of the wait staff was also one of the best. The food was outstanding, and everyone in my party of 8 enjoyed their food immensely. We tried a variety of things, and nothing disappointed us. The ambiance of the restaurant is also beautiful and inviting. I would highly recommend this establishment, and we will definitely be back. read more

Being a 40 yr NYC hotel veteran I am compelled to write this review. I have opened 2 5 star 5 diamond hotels in my career. Helmsley Palace 13 yrs(1980-1993) and The Four Seasons NYC 57th st (1993-2020) Front Service is my expertise- I am very knowledgeable of good atmosphere, service and quality. Limoncello hits all the points perfectly. From ambiance to friendliness of staff to quality of food this restaurant/hotel is Goshen's gem!!! Daniel our waiter was truly an experienced waiter,Chris the General Manager truly a perfect match for the role. Professional with a honest mixture of neighborhood comfortablity that I haven't seen since I retired from the Four Seasons.
