I've had an idea to combine bed 3 with our master bed ever since we moved in a few years ago but…read morewas worried the job wasn't big enough to attract a contractor. Eric replied in no time and emailed an estimate not long after. This job involved drywall (delete a door and add a large arched opening), electrical, custom cabinets, shelves, interior/exterior paint, and a touch of flooring. Eric and his guys did an amazing job. My wife loves the closet they converted into a reading nook. We always felt comfortable with the crew in our house. They worked around our schedule and Eric was always available for a quick check-in so I knew where we were with each step. The two big standouts were the price staying the same even though he did a few extras, and Salvador nailing that 8' high 6' wide arch! We couldn't be happier and would definitely use them again.

We hired Eric with E.L. Construction to do a cosmetic update on our home in Phoenix. We replaced…read morethe flooring, painted the entire house, updated bathrooms, put in a new fireplace, updated pantry and closets, and did a complete kitchen remodel. The kitchen required removing a wall to open up the closed dark kitchen and adding an oversized bar. Eric was extremely timely and professional in getting us a comprehensive quote. He was also extremely affordable as well. He started work right away and did a phenomenal job. We gave him pictures of what we wanted for the kitchen and fireplace, and he replicated the style to a T - which most contractors can't do without a designer helping them. He also was able to design and order custom cabinets for our pantry. Eric was extremely detail oriented throughout the process, checking in with us as needed for style and safety decisions, and always updated us on cost or possible delays. He also was insanely knowledgable about every area of construction such as dry wall, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, flooring, tiling, etc. This guy really is a one man show - he can do it all. Eric did have a few subcontractors help him with the job and they were always fantastic to work with as well. He knows quality workmanship and partnership. He finished the job in a timely timeframe and our home is gorgeous and the workmanship is quality - for a great price. If you need any renovations done, Eric with E.L. Construction is the way to go. Highly recommend!

Does not provide proper invoices. Takes advantage of elderly people. Johnny did work for my elderly dementia father and his wife last year. He says he helped them and gave them a good deal but cannot provide documentation around what he did. He did not guarantee his work even though he stated on a call that it has a "standard 2 year warranty is the law for Arizona repairs". I dont know if that law is true but overall dont say it if you do plan on keeping that word or backing up your work. The work he did, didnt even last a year. He gave unprofessional advise towards my family and stated "you're on the fast track to getting this house condemned and your inheritance evaporated" --off of work he did by the way!! DO NOT hire this guy, I promise you his immaturity level and lack of professionalism and documentation will leave you high and dry!!"

Johnathan made the deprecated HVAC vents in my historic home disappear, no trace of their former existence. He hung the sheetrock in a new art studio built in my backyard. Despite the less-than-perfect framing (by me), the interior walls are perfect; nary a ripple or a waggle. Johnathan applied stain to my cedar-clad garage and art studio, a somewhat tricky process; the result was perfection. Johnathan also painted the 100-year-old brick exterior and wooden eaves of my house. There were layers of old peeling paint dangling from the eaves. He meticulously scrapped and patched that mess, and the result is spectacular. Every penny spent with Can Build was worth it. No matter the task, I would not hesitate to hire Can Build.

The fireplace remodel looks great! It was a tricky project with re-sizing the hearth. Patching floor tiles with what we had available since original tile was no longer available. Bonus points for loving on our two elderly dogs who kept them company for the week+ of work. In the beginning he was onsite each day, but as the job took longer he disappeared. Thomas promised to go "room by room" removing and installing new flooring and baseboards. Instead he demoed all the flooring, baseboards and bathrooms. He still has yet to finish one project on his quote and left us without a shower for over 5 days. Thomas was creative in excuses preventing him from finishing the job. He said an employee moved to Utah, that he was injured, suffered a herniated disc (yet continued to hang tile), had no health insurance and after going to the urgent care twice required back surgery. Mighty aggressive since anyone in the medical field can tell you surgery is a last resort, one an urgent care doctor would not oversee. I am honestly unsure if this is a scam or legitimate business. Either way, they are unprofessional…read moreand a waste of time. I have never experienced such complete disrespect and incompetence from any company as I did from Glenn Homes. I reached out to this company over 3 weeks ago to discuss a laminate project. I sent pictures and square footage and Glenn was prompt with his response and quotes. I declined other quotes and went with Glenn's. He scheduled me for his only available slot the following week. As a busy, working mom, arranging a schedule to fit in a much needed home project was not easy, but I re-arranged my schedule to accommodate the day he was available. I confirmed the date with Glenn the evening prior, and he requested to change the initial appointment time from 8am to 10am. The day of, Glenn calls me and shared that his team "ruined" a few projects as he was not there to supervise, and he has been tasked with re-doing these projects. He rescheduled for about 4 days out and guaranteed it would be him working on my project, and I would have no concerns. I again arranged my schedule (this time taking some time off work) to make sure I could accommodate his availability. Glenn called about 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time and stated a project he was working on was taking longer than expected. He offered to come about 4 hours later and give a $100 discount. I did not hear from him 4 hours later. When I reached out to clarify if I mis-understood, he apologized profusely and shared he could complete the job the following day and offered an additional discount. Trusting his excuse was legitimate, I again arranged my schedule to accommodate. It's no mystery what occurred the following day. About 15 minutes past the scheduled time, he called stating something "terrible" occurred the night prior, and he would be unable to complete the job. He was unable to share details on barriers to informing me the day prior or even earlier that same day. I fail to see the overall benefit of scheduling and rescheduling when you can simply decline a project and stop wasting someone's time. Definitely unprofessional and not worth your time... unless you enjoy mindlessly wasting your time as they obviously do.
