The painting crew was nice but we did have a couple of things that weren't done completely. We called Charlie right away and the painting crew and Charlie were back at our house within the hour and they made everything right. You'll always have some hiccups with construction but this company is family owned and they want to make sure your very pleased. Which is why they dont ask for any payment until the job is completely finished and you are happy with the results. I would definitely use them again and will call them when we get ready to paint the interior of our home.

I hired them to perform the work and they did a fantastic job. You can't even tell that the stucco was damaged. They made it look like it never happened. Mike was very professional, efficient, and responsive. The worker who worked on my condo was super efficient and quiet. They showed up at 7am and I didn't even hear them. At first I thought no one showed up but when I went outside I saw the repair was done and a few hours after that it was all painted and looking fabulous. George also managed to get us scheduled in a timely manner that worked for both of our schedules. George carefully ensured that the brand (D&E), sheen, and (custom color) of paint that I wanted was ordered in a timely manner, ready and on-site at the start of the project. George was also was on-site during the job to supervise his crew of painters. The painters worked efficiently, taped out the trim work and covered the work area meticulously, patched/prepped as needed, and painted everything thoroughly in two coats. The wall painting is beautiful and ties our newly refreshed kitchen together! The end result is the kitchen of my dreams! Once we selected our color scheme and got approval from the HOA, the guys at PAL got to work. The house was given a proper power wash first, then the painting started a couple days later. Adam, Nevada, along with Bernie the job foreman, and the rest of the crew, did outstanding and professional work completing the job very timely. As the painting progressed, an issue on our roof came up due to a past microburst that swept through the neighborhood that we were aware of but had not yet addressed. Nevada assessed the issue and quoted a very reasonable fix and completed the fix along with his son, and now our roof looks and functions better and we are ready for anything the monsoon season throws at us. After receiving four quotes, we chose them based on a recommendation and initial confidence during our consultation. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became disappointing. We met in February and scheduled a start date of March 11. We were told someone would contact us the week prior to confirm paint colors, but we never received a call and had to follow up ourselves. On day one, the foreman did a walkthrough and said they would start upstairs. Only minimal prep work was completed on two bedrooms before the crew left early, promising to return the next morning. Day two was even more concerning. Only one worker showed up, the foreman was absent, and prep work was still incomplete by midday. We also observed workers frequently leaving to vape. I will say the project manager was responsive and communicative when I reached out, and did try to address concerns. That evening, a serious incident occurred. We were alerted via our Ring camera that there was an issue involving the crew and our neighbors. When I called the foreman, he stated they were disposing of paint by digging a hole and burying it on the property. Given how close our homes are, this understandably upset our neighbors. The situation escalated into a confrontation, resulting in police being called, and the crew was told to leave. When we returned home, prep work was still unfinished, no painting had been completed, and there was trash left behind. A new crew arrived on day three and completed the job in a single day, which highlighted how inefficient the previous crew had been. However, communication remained poor at the management level. I attempted multiple times to reach a supervisor but never received a callback before the weekend. While we were eventually offered compensation, it was not proactively handled. I had to follow up myself to address and correct the compensation, which added to the frustration and made it feel like resolving the issue was not a priority. Due to managing our children and my husband working a 48-hour shift, I couldn't fully inspect everything immediately. After noticing additional incomplete work, I reached out again and received no response. We've hired many service providers over the years and have never experienced anything like this. This project caused unnecessary delays in selling our home and added significant stress. Given the cost and importance of this work, we expected far better professionalism, communication, and accountability.

Thank you, George! I joined yelp only to let other folks know how incredible my experience with GPS was. The short of it: I would absolutely recommend GPS. The long of it, see below: Raining, raining, raining. We love it! The family was all excited about the weather, until we started seeing a steady drip coming through our ceiling. Been in our house since new, about 14 years, and we've never had a problem. Jumped up into the attic and found the spot but didn't know what to do, and, it was Saturday. I called a couple of well known companies I'd heard of but both were closed. So, I started doing some online searches, ended up on yelp, and I contact another roofer. Yelp said they would send my information to more than just the vendor I selected. I was freaking out, the roof was leaking, more rain was coming, and nobody was answering their phone. Like magic, less than an hour later, I received an email from George. I was so surprised and happy to have a reply!!! I immediately responded and George called me back minutes later. He was so calming and kind. He asked where I lived and said he would drive by that very same day...SATURDAY!!! George arrived, crawled up in the attic with me, and talked me through the situation which (thankfully) wasn't as dire as I had anticipated. He gave me a quote and said his crew would be back on Monday. And they were!!! The work was done in one day and the price was fair. Perhaps even more important to me, George went above and beyond to help me and my family feel better and safer on a rainy Saturday. read more

While the homes in our development are reasonably well designed and constructed, the roof designs in many models have multiple "dead valleys" resulting in inevitable leaks. Our roof (built in 2001) repaired twice in 2013 by one of the area's big-name roofing companies, and it had held until the most recent record rain (October 2018). The principal recurring leak was in my library. Not a good location. After rapid Internet research and obtaining several bids, including the same big name (their warranty had lapsed, imagine that), we decided to go with GPS Remodeling. George S., the owner, assessed the area of the leak, we committed to get in line on their schedule, with more rains predicted, and hoping for the best. George called early the next morning, asking if he could immediately start our job (a God-send). As work progressed, a wet spot he had spotted, and warned about in the initial inspection for the estimate, unfortunately expanded the scope of work. Albeit reluctantly, we realized the job had to be done then, and done correctly. Suffices his crew completed the expanded repairs within the balance of that day, in a neat and professional manner. Early the next morning was awakened by thunder, lightning, and significant rain. Very tempted to call George and thank him then, but it was early and Sunday (called next day). Prompt, professionally competent, competitively priced, highly recommended. read more

I did want to take a moment to shoot off a quick review to say hats off to GPS Remodeling because you really take care of your customers and do amazing work. They remodeled my guest bathroom and it's so beautiful that I basically have taken it over and left the master bath to my wife haha I recommend them to everyone out there wanting to upgrade their home because they truly care about your home and can see your vision. My neighbor had gone with another construction company last year that did their bathroom and the difference in the workmanship is night and day. To start with, George, the owner was at my door within a half hour of me emailing. He thoroughly surveyed my roof, explained what he saw, and also took pictures to show me, and how he wanted to repair it to ensure that all leaks were sealed and have no future issues. I felt he took his time in determining what the scope of work should be and was professional with his assessment of the job. He also included a "patch"job he noticed in my garage (due to my leak), and made it look like new. He wrote the scope of work and the deal was done! I just had my roof repaired by George at gps remodeling and it was excellent I contacted t2 other companies before I found GPS remodeling both other companies only was interested in putting a new roof on but George came out found where my leak was and was able to repair it and since then we have had Bad moon soon rain and no more leaks thanks to George and there there very reasonable price was not pushy and did everything he said he would from start to finish it is a family owned business very respectable people will hire again for any roofing or paining needs I have thanks for the A+ job read more

Very pleased with the repair and sealing of our roof that George Stewart and his team did to our home here in Mesa. Also they fixed the carport ceiling that had damage and was bowing. My plants and flowerbed and carport were carefully plastic draped to protect them as was the driveway making it easy to use our wheelchair. They swept and disposed of all trash. The project was completed as we were told in one day. The team of 4 workers plus George Stewart Sr (family business) were pleasant and professional. GPS Roofing was amazing. They replaced all of the wood and underlay of my tile roof. They were quick and cleaned up after the job. Price was reasonable compared to other vendors. If you need a roof replacement in Anthem you should call them. Most of the homes are 25 years old and you won't believe how the sun has rotted the wood and underlay. At the time, they pointed out the issues with how our house roof was initially installed that resulted in a lot of costly water damage. We also had a tubular skylight installed 25 years ago and they showed us pictures of the deterioration around it. The original installer, Solatube, addressed our concerns quickly and installed new flashing. (Solatube is another great company) We are very pleased that we found VHB Roofing and feel relieved that we don't have to be concerned about our roof.

I want to express my thanks to Danny Clark and the whole team at Arizona's Finest Roofing (AFR)…read more I had sought bids from 5 different local contractors. All of them presented as professional and courteous. But Danny from AFR was different. Each of the other 4 contractors provided me with an estimate to remove and replace our home's roof, but Danny offered a solution. He began by explaining different roofing techniques and showing me various materials. Then being a 3rd generation roofer he came up with a plan best suited for our application. The other roofers simply wanted to shingle over what was already in place. Danny opted to install a roof that had the potential to both insulate and reduce costs. He decided to place shingles on the pitched section of the roof and foam on the flat sections. To me that sounded like a unique way to beat the summer time heat here in Arizona. Now don't get me wrong, this option came at a premium but I am optimistic that once I have the opportunity to compare electrical usage data between this year and last, I am confident I am going to see a difference. And to anyone living through the Arizona summers, any cost savings in electricity is most welcome. I also want to take this opportunity to thank his office manager Tabytha, the site foreman Glen, and the two work crews that did the actual work. All of these folks working together helped the entire job go smoothly. I would also like to mention that once the work was complete, Danny came out to do a QC check to ensure that what was delivered was up to his standard. So in closing I would strongly recommend AFR to anyone in the metro Phoenix area in need of repairs or a brand new roof. I am looking forward to many years of a leak proof roof on our home.

I am sure I would have been pleased with any of the three of them, but I am really glad I went with Johnson Roofing. My experience with them started with Miguel Cepeda. His presentation was clear and detailed. He explained all aspects of the project and how they would get the job done. He recommended a few things that we're different than the competition. I was especially impressed with his explanation about venting and the specific vents he was recommending to replace my current vents. Most importantly, Johnson Roofing what's the only company that offered an easy to apply for payment plan through a bank that offered 12 months interest-free financing. We don't really see what any of these roofing companies are doing in detail while the project is being completed. So we normally have to go on faith that they did everything important and with the highest quality. At the end of the project, Miguel reviewed all the work with me via photos that were taken during the project. I could see in detail that a lot of plywood was replaced. Some companies might not have been as thorough or willing to do some of the things that Johnson did on its own. The review with Miguel gave me total comfort that's the job was done properly. The cleanup was excellent and so was the crew.

Louis took the time to thoroughly inspect the deck, explain our options, and recommend a solution that made sense. We never felt pressured--just well informed. The crew's workmanship was outstanding. They carefully removed the existing railing, cut away old flashing and failed coatings, installed new plywood where needed, added new flashing, applied a new waterproof coating system, and then reinstalled the railing. Throughout the project they were professional, efficient, and extremely courteous. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and communication. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the job site was kept clean, and the finished deck looks beautiful. I check obviously for plenty of good reviews. I'm looking for professionalism, timeliness, pride in workmanship, and just overall customer satisfaction. L and R past the the reviews. Plenty of people seem satisfied. The next thing is, I check their website if they have one. Most businesses do now have some kind of online presence. Theirs was very smooth and easy to navigate. I requested a quote online, and in about 24 hours got a response. The owner, Luis, came out, climbed the roof, gave me a rundown of what to expect, should I use their services, and told me they would not contact me again or try to pressure me. They certainly followed through on that. They did send a quote. Their website makes it very easy to accept the quote and has finance options. Their contract is laid out very straightforward, full disclosure. Nothing hidden. In this online business world, where people expect more online transactional capability, you just expect businesses to offer that. But many don't, particularly in the contracting world. So, anyone who is attentive to making it easy to transact online is very focused on their business, in my experience. It's just another sign of professionalism and tells me that probably they will also be attentive during the actual construction process. That's just my general experience. It does not always hold true. But in this case, it did. After the HOA approval, I decided to use them for the roof replacement. Costs were in line with about what everyone else is charging. I paid the 50% down, and got a call from Victor the foreman to schedule replacement. They were very accommodating and got busy. There was a minor hiccup, but not their fault. The supplier delivered the wrong tiles. I'm sure that caused a bit of stress for Victor, because they have plenty of jobs scheduled. Anyway, the day after the day they were supposed to do the work, the new tiles were delivered. And then the following Monday, the tiles were loaded onto the roof. The next day they were laid and completed at the same day. I'm no roofing expert, but have some common sense. I climbed the roof before they laid the tiles just to check out their work. All the flashings were very nicely placed. Everything seemed to be high-quality. The underlayment was very nicely laid. And, each day they cleaned up pretty well. When the work was completed, they cleaned up better than I had the yard cleaned up. Victor very professional. If I need any maintenance on the roof, I definitely would consider L & R again. However, I suspect the roof will out last me and my wife.

I got multiple quotes, and chose to hire CopperWest Roofing. Here's why. First, CopperWest Roofing is not some big roofing company with lots of overhead, where you're just another job. They're a family-owned, local small business, and the owner, Jordon, is actually out there on the job, hustling every single day making sure everything is going smoothly. If you have a question, you just ask Jordon. He gives you his cell number and tells you to call or text him anytime if you have questions, comments, or concerns. Direct access to the owner, that kind of service is pretty rare these days. I also liked that they're not trying to impress people with a bunch of flashy trucks or a huge sales pitch that you end up paying extra money for. It's just an honest, hands-on, owner-run business that takes pride in doing quality work and treating people right. His business obviously runs on his reputation, and word of mouth recommendations, and I definitely recommend giving him a call, or send him a note through the website. The roof looks great, the crew cleaned up before they left every day, the communication was excellent, and the whole process was stress-free. If you're looking for a roofing company that works hard, cares about the work they do and their customers satisfaction, I'd definitely recommend CopperWest Roofing.

Since we were getting…read moremultiple quotes, it was a week or two before deciding on Copper West (price, reviews from neighbors that had previously used them), and after a slight delay, we received the quote. I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.
