After finally getting intouch with Abril our job was scheduled. I was contacted by Ron the project manager about what to expect. I met with Ron to walk the roof and he discussed items they would be finishing up and answered all my questions. He assured me I would get my 5 star roof. After all the waiting, that was what I expected. I met with Ron again today and the job was finished as expected. I would rate the communication when the job started and was completed as top notch. I realize that things happen beyond our control and that is unfortunate. We did get our 5 star roof and 5 star customer service. Lyons will need to return for a new window that needs to be installed and foamed in. I will look forward to another 5 star service from Lyons. One of the service guys said they were having trouble with this brand of shingles and the manufacturer might pay under their warrantee. I never heard back from them and the repair cost me $750. Now it's happened again and they can't send a service guy out for 3 weeks and I will likely be charged for the repairs. Unaceptable.

I am sure I would have been pleased with any of the three of them, but I am really glad I went with Johnson Roofing. My experience with them started with Miguel Cepeda. His presentation was clear and detailed. He explained all aspects of the project and how they would get the job done. He recommended a few things that we're different than the competition. I was especially impressed with his explanation about venting and the specific vents he was recommending to replace my current vents. Most importantly, Johnson Roofing what's the only company that offered an easy to apply for payment plan through a bank that offered 12 months interest-free financing. We don't really see what any of these roofing companies are doing in detail while the project is being completed. So we normally have to go on faith that they did everything important and with the highest quality. At the end of the project, Miguel reviewed all the work with me via photos that were taken during the project. I could see in detail that a lot of plywood was replaced. Some companies might not have been as thorough or willing to do some of the things that Johnson did on its own. The review with Miguel gave me total comfort that's the job was done properly. The cleanup was excellent and so was the crew.

They were at our place for 4 days in the extreme heat working from 5:30am-6:00pm to get our roof completed, so we didn't have to be inconvenienced. I want to express my thanks to Danny Clark and the whole team at Arizona's Finest Roofing (AFR)…read more I had sought bids from 5 different local contractors. All of them presented as professional and courteous. But Danny from AFR was different. Each of the other 4 contractors provided me with an estimate to remove and replace our home's roof, but Danny offered a solution. He began by explaining different roofing techniques and showing me various materials. Then being a 3rd generation roofer he came up with a plan best suited for our application. The other roofers simply wanted to shingle over what was already in place. Danny opted to install a roof that had the potential to both insulate and reduce costs. He decided to place shingles on the pitched section of the roof and foam on the flat sections. To me that sounded like a unique way to beat the summer time heat here in Arizona. Now don't get me wrong, this option came at a premium but I am optimistic that once I have the opportunity to compare electrical usage data between this year and last, I am confident I am going to see a difference. And to anyone living through the Arizona summers, any cost savings in electricity is most welcome. I also want to take this opportunity to thank his office manager Tabytha, the site foreman Glen, and the two work crews that did the actual work. All of these folks working together helped the entire job go smoothly.
