Checking out the restaurants as just moved to the area. So far this is the worst one by far. Arrived and seated right away. Good so far. Then waited 20 minutes to be approached by the only server in the restaurant. 9 full tables 1 server. Not the servers issue but no management seen in dining room either. Food burnt, soup Luke warm. No refills offered. Overall very poor. read more

I went there with my boyfriend and his family for Easter Brunch. It was loud and the lack of service was just embarrassing. The brunch had an option to order eggs which the order was placed. They came out after we were on dessert. The waiter never came to see if we needed a beverage. The table was piled with dirty dishes.NOBODY came to clear the dirty dishes. I tried to speak to the "manager" and all I got was an attitude and no satisfaction. And to add insult to injury they tacked on a undeserved tip on top of the already high bill. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

My wife and I went Friday night to meet up with some friends and check out a band. We purposely arrived early (5:00pm) to have something to eat before everyone arrived. I ordered the wings (medium) and my wife ordered the seafood platter (appetizer). Our waitress was super-nice and very attentive. Our food arrived after an average wait-time. The presentation of my wife's plate was nice, like an effort was put into it. She commented that the food had nice flavors and was very happy with it. I tasted the shrimp, baked clams and calamari and agreed it was quite good. I rarely order wings out because my wife makes amazing wings but I was really in the mood for some. They were awesome, crispy outside, tender and juicy inside and full of flavor. Atmosphere was nice, staff was great and the prices were reasonable. We were automatically turned down at the door because one of us was wearing a hat. He took his hat off and the bouncer didn't let us in bc of ripped jeans. This is a bullshit bar on long Island. It's not a big deal. The bouncer didn't even look at us, he was on his phone the entire time. Did they turn us down because we aren't white? read more

Bartender Chris made our night. Actually knew how to appropriately count out a shot. We will be returning to this bar because of the friendly atmosphere and staff. It was refreshing to be provided with attentive service on a busy night. read more

We had our sons Communion party here this past weekend. From the start Lauren and her team were accommodating and patient with our questions and requests. The day of the event Carina and the staff went out if their way to make everything as easy as possible on us. We got plenty of compliments on both the venue, food, and service. I would recommend Lilly Flanagan's to any one considering an event here. read more

I went to Lily Flanagan's with my girlfriend with a coupon from restaurants.com that she acquired via her job. Neither of us had been there before. On arrival it looks like every pub you've probably ever seen. We found a parking spot eventually and went in. We got seated immediately even with it being crowded with families and kids. The menu has many different options so it made it very difficult to select a meal. We started out with drinks and I was very happy to see that they had Angry Orchard for myself and Summer Shandy for my GF, being as shandy is hard to find for some reason. We decided to start off with a chicken Quesadilla. It was delicious but enormous, so big it could have been a single meal for someone.. For our entrees I had the classic shepherds pie and she had a steak and mozz over garlic bread sandwich. Both entrees were very basic and standard. Overall the meal was good but the real star and the reason I would go back is our waitress. She was absolutely fabulous and incredibly attentive especially for being new to working there for less then 2 weeks. On an overall I would visit here again based just on the Quesadilla and the service. I cant remember her name atm but I will be sure to edit this in the future once I am able to attain it. Go for lunch / dinner but from what I hear avoid nightlife there if your over like 24 as it turns into a night club with people around 20 to 21. read more

My boyfriend and I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and had Darby as our server. The food and drinks were great and our server was even better. I'd actually like to take some time out to recognize just how great our server was. The restaurant was very busy and she was the only server but Darby was very attentive, quick, and incredibly friendly. We've eaten there 4 times, it's been good for families. First 2 visits we had good food and good service. The 3rd visit was a mid week and although it was not good we figured it was an off night for them. Last night was our fourth visit, Saturday night and they were not busy. The food was ok, the service was only fair. Previous diners should be aware they have instituted a 'sharing charge' which was petty because my 2 children could have ordered kids meals but one chose to share with me and then we ordered extra sides and appetizers that ultimately cost more, so I left irritated. Considering the great dining choices in Babylon Village... we'll likely eat elsewhere next time. read more

What a huge mistake to come here & never again. We came for dinner and NEVER even made it to a table. We waited for friends at the bar, we left our credit card with the bartender and $100.00 later, were told that the credit card machine was NOT working, can we pay the bill in CASH! After 30 minutes, they were able to get the payment through manually. We decided to leave and go eat somewhere else. I was never so embarassed in my entire life. The bar staff was always busy talking to each other and made us feel like we were bothering them when we wanted to order a drink. We were not supplied with a bill stating what we had purchased, so I was unable to even view what they were billing me for! They were not busy and there were 6 or 7 people running around behind the bar doing nothing but talking to each other. We are Babylon residents and will never return and are happy to share our story with anyone. read more

This place is awful, this place DISCRIMINATES PEOPLE. I have been turned away with my friends at the door twice. This is the only bar that I can never get into. My friend he was wearing sneakers and my girlfriend was also in sneakers and they let her in before we had got there. The second time someone was wearing a pair of Zara sweat pants and a hoodie because it was pouring that were prob more expensive then the bouncers rain jacket. Again we were denied, after we had tipped the valley 20$ and I parked my own car. They will be loosing money if they keep this dress code so strict not understandable how it's this generation and they still reject people entering places because of what they are wearing. read more

Went tonight to celebrate St Patricks Day with friends. There were 2 large party groups so the only place they could fit us in was a table on stage right next to the musician. I am sure they could have put us in other room with the large bar. It was loud and hard to talk to one another being up there and felt like we were in a Window Display. On top of this our waitress Caitlin was hard to find.during the evening and you could see Service was lacking. My friends ordered ice cream dessert, got them and did not get spoons to go with them. They had to hunt down a waitress to get them spoons Gratuities were added onto our bill since we were a party of 7. This might have been the reason for lack of service throughout the night The Guinness Lamb Stew which was a Special was salty. We spent a good 4 hours + here this past Sunday with a group of six. Place was not too crowded but a decent crowd for a football Sunday. It has three bars and a decent size restaurant area. The back bar closes kind of early. We started out with a few drinks then headed over for a meal. They do a nice job of cutting down on the bar noise while in the restaurant area. Meaning you are not shouting at each other while having your meal. As for the meal? None of us had any issue with our food. Good Irish home-style meals along with your typical American bar food. Clean, comfortable atmosphere, along with very reasonable prices. As we were leaving to go back into the bar area, they had some live entertainment being set up in the restaurant area. So keep that in mind. We then spent the next two hours at the bar watching the late game and having some laughs. Only real downside would be we never got any buy backs. Between the six of us, five were drinking and spent a good bit of $$$. Same two bartenders, but zero buy backs. Not good if that is the norm. I would definitely go back for the meal, but move on after that for the drinks. read more

Average food. Never had a bad experience, but was never really knocked off my seat. Happy hour is a good time though. Usually put out edible food and decent drink specials. Have a good burger here on Mondays. Tap beer though is often flat or stale. They are also a little pricey, but for Babylon it is what it is. $7.00 for a Blue Point is a little much in my opinion. read more

Let me begin... My family grew up practically running this building. My first birthday was celebrated in this building, let alone other celebrations. NOW it's an embarrassment. It is a money making crap hole that charges a cover charge to whom they "feel like it" and a wanna be Manhattan pub. (Except with no class) The owner clearly has no issue letting their bouncers place their hands on females inappropriately. I am disgusted and feel violated. What happened to respect? The bartenders truly have no problem over serving. But, the minute you inform Someone that they are drinking too much and you dump their drink out because of the irresponsibly of Lilly flanigans staff, frankly Because they want to make money on a 6 dollar Heineken, then watch someone wrap their tree around a pole. I truly hope this place goes down. It's sad. I hope a bouncer lays their hands on another female. Anyone in that matter. How would their mother or sisters like it ? read more

Went here for my birthday celebration with 8 other women. Food was great, server Jole was super friendly and food was immediately - no wait. Drinks were great and the bill was very reasonable. After dinner we danced to the DJ's music which was great. I danced all night long! Will definitely be returning. Love this place! read more

Just left the pub without having the lunch I was looking forward to. Seems the boss discontinued the loyalty card program they had . I had art least $30.00 accrued and they offered me $10.00 as a replacement. Like the food, but I won't be back, and I'll get in touch with the people who I urged to go there and update them. Usually love the food here. Last night was different. Ive noticed some staff changes and fear this place is not what I am used to. There was a mixup with my food. I had ordered my entree and then immediately heard the person next to me order 50 cent wings. The bartender assured me that they could hold my entree. After I finished my 2nd wing, sure enough, my entree came out. Was up to watch the hockey game and this was just after the first period started. The bartender then told me they would make me a new order of the steak tidbits. When I was ready for my tidbits 45mins later they were not new. The bread had grill marks and the steak was rubbery. From my own experience in the restaurant business, I could tell the the fries were just thrown back into the fryer. The bartender stopped checking on me as well after I had my wings. The atmosphere was good, but it was ruined by an over aggressive bouncer. We were there after our Xmas party, thirty and forty year olds, nothing crazy. One of our group got kicked out, which isn't the bad part. We figured it must have been earned, but when we went to get our coats and leave, they were nowhere to be found. They had moved them without telling us. When we tried to ask the staff for help, one of the bouncers, Greg, was belligerent amd utterly unhelpful. After he tried to create and then escalate a conflict that didn't exist, we asked for a manager which he refused to bring. Another bouncer came over, asked what the problem was, and returned with the missing coats without issue. It seemed one bouncer was an excellent representative, but the other one was on some kind of power trip. Since then we have called twice to speak to a manager privately about the incident, but they don't take calls. We had Babylon residents in our group who are now not inclined to return to Lily's, and we are taking it off the list of potential venues for future parties. read more

went there today for fathers day not complaining about the quality of food but about the treatment by this establishment. my grandaughter didnt feel well and could not eat her food it was buffet style for fathers day, i fully understand that they dont want to wrap up loads of food for people to take home but they refused to wrap a plate of food and would have rather thrown it out then make a judgement call on the situation. and wrap it. not happy abpout a restaurant that would throw food away especially after we had to pay per person. read more
