You have to believe me when I say that I am a true coffee snob. My husband makes incredible espresso and lattes at home so it's hard for me to get drinks out. My standards are really high. Plus, I have lots of little kids and the only drive through options are Starbucks, which is a hard no. I don't know why I've never seen this place but I knew I had to at least try it on a morning of desperation when my husband was out of town and I therefore had no barista. I got a hazelnut latte with oat milk and it was SO yummy. The coffee had great flavor and they had oat milk, which is my favorite. The girl who served me was so sweet and it warmed my heart to hear her talking to her dad, also working the shop. Family owned businesses have my heart. Next time I want to try the vanilla bean latte which she said is her fave. 5 stars for everything. This is my new go-to spot. read more

You know in the end when Jamie Foxx goes back into the workplace to see Jessica Biel standing there semi lonely. Then he rolls up, grabs her by the hips, pulls her in, kisses her to prove and confess his love simultaneously. That's what it feels like going to LJJ In this example LJJ is Jamie Foxx and I'm Biel. Getting embraced, swaddled, and kissed. Shoutout Taylor, Tiana, Dixie, Julia, Julia, and Bree. But an absolutely massive shoutout to Sam. She's by far our favorite. No doubt better than the others. I stopped by as a pick me up after a bad night and oh my gosh when I tell you the service was amazing. The girls working were so kind and helpful. It was my first time and the barista asked my preferences and then had me try the drink before I drove away to make sure I liked it. This place is such a gem! My partner and I were planning on going to downtown encinitas for coffee, but we were so glad that we found this place on Yelp (the drinks were affordable, delicious, and the service was quick)! I had a frozen expresso and my partner had a cappuccino. This is a drive-thru stand and they are pretty quick and efficient- we waited only a few minutes for our drinks. The coffee is always, always too strong. they act like everyone must love bitter cowboy coffee so go out of their way to add espresso shots or they put cubes of frozen coffee instead of ice cubes when i ask for extra oatmilk or sweetener in my drinks. I've never had a cup that was to my liking despite visiting 4 times so I've come to the conclusion that the staff must be incompetent. Do not bother going here. You're paying starbucks prices for rude and unprofessional employees that want to serve the coffee "their way or the highway." and by rude I mean totally ignoring me while I wait for my coffee so they can talk to other customers that are their "besties." Just make your own cup of coffee at home--that's what I always have to do because of condescending baristas like these. read more

Stopped by here the other morning for the first time. I let the employee know it was our first time there and they were so helpful with recommendations. We got a vanilla iced coffee, a mocha, and two pastries. When they brought us our drinks, they let us know that one of our drinks was on the house as it was our first time there! You would think by the reaction of the staff everytime I drive up for coffee that I was bringing them all a bag of hundred dollar bills. But that is how they treat all of their customers. And if it's your first time the coffee is on them. (That may only be when the owner is there) . I almost always have my dog with me and they always offer her a treat. And they aren't your crappy little milk bone treats they are the good kind. You know the kind I can't afford. Service is quick, sweek and efficient. Coffee is good and you have a pick of pretty much any flavor you can find at Starbucks. They also have a fresh selection of muffins and scones. And if you forget your dog don't worry they usually have a couple there you can pet. I love to support local small business and Lil' Jungle Jave is a pleasure to support. read more

My coffee was free cuz it was my first visit... the fact that they bought my coffee during a global pandemic just because it was my first visit says a lot for a small business. This place is absolutely amazing I love the women who work here and there attitudes. I work in the same shopping center and they always make sure to give me my discount. I love that the ice coffee comes with espresso ice cubes. That way your coffee never gets run down actually it gets stronger the longer you leave it. I don't normally get coffee but when I do I love to come to this little spot, the coffee is very affordable and very potent. You can't find this taste of coffee anywhere else honestly. I recommend the spot if you are driving by or if you're just interested come on by and try it for yourself I guarantee you won't be disappointed if your coffee lover just like I Can be.
