Açaí bowl
Mariam R.

A solid café for a fresh, well-executed breakfast. Ingredients tasted high quality across the board, and the açaí bowl was a standout--beautifully balanced with generous, thoughtfully layered toppings. A spot that delivers and is definitely worth the stop.

Stopped by for breakfast with my bestie on a beautiful Sunday. Although a pretty full restaurant at 930am, we were able to find parking in their small parking lot, beat the line and find seats. It got busier as the morning went on. Ordered the Organic Açaí Bowl, about $17, an Iced Lofty Style Nola, $7+, Egg Quiche and donut, while my friend got one of their lattes, hot. I loved the Açaí bowl. It was filling, came with a lot of fresh and ripe fruit, and had a lot of yummy different textures from the granola, nibs, coconut and seeds. I really enjoyed the egg quiche but wish they offered to warm it up; it would've been perfect. My latte was okay in taste but did wake me up. The green donut was delicious and pretty looking but the whole thing would've been too sweet for me; I'm glad we shared it. Her hot latte had a cute design on top This place is perfect when the weather is nice, since it's mainly outside. No complaints about the service.

Iced Salted Caramel Latte, $7! Nov 8, 2025

3-4 stars. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon! The line wasn't that long as it looked to be from outside as there were only maybe 3 people ahead of me. Although all the tables were taken up & even the seating that faced the road. They had heaters on as well that you could feel as you stood in line or waited for your name to be called out. I looked at the menu from above and I believe I read that the Iced Salted Caramel Latte was $7.50, but when I went to pay it was only $7! (I handed her $8 because I swore I saw $7.50 on the screen lol). It looked like the cup was 16 oz or larger, unsure because she didn't ask -- so maybe they only have one size. When I'm nervous or at a new spot, I forget to ask all these basic questions. I read that it's house made caramel with fleur de sel. I think they should add more fleur de sel because it was lacking the salty aspect, but the caramel was delicious. As a whole, I think the latte had too much milk because the espresso was very much lost. It just tasted like caramel milk. It wasn't balanced as my friend mentioned it was (he got the same drink, at their Little Italy location I believe?). However, price was nice for the size of the drink. Would I come back? Maybe on a cold day since they have those heaters! I'm a huge fan of salted caramel and this one missed the mark. I'd give them another try when they have new seasonal specials. Also, they do have a big menu for food choices which is nice. I did see people enjoying toasts and açaí bowls. Great place for bicyclists, families, people with doggos, solo, dates, etc! Come & check them out, they are just two lights away from the beach as well.

This is genuinely the hugest latte I've ever gotten. It was 20 oz (the only size) for $6. They have a cute outdoor space with shade. It was a very serviceable latte but also not particularly memorable. Some of their other drinks are on the pricier side, but this is an otherwise fine spot to pick up a coffee before hitting the beach!

Cute coffee shop on Cedros. It is a popular place so it's not great for large groups. Very nice servers and items get to you quickly. The acai bowl ($17) is perfection and definitely big enough to share with two people. Tons of fresh fruit, acai scoops and peanut butter underneath. A must on a hot day!

I wish I would have tried Lofty sooner. I've seen it in Little Italy for a long time and it had a good look, and yeah it's pretty bomb. Good portions. Everything is fresh and well prepared. Quick friendly service. Great indoor outdoor spaces. Decent enough parking. Not too loud. Enough space. Heck, you might even be able to work if you need to. Various options. A little spendy but worth it.

Some of the best coffee in the San Diego area!!! We were staying in Solana Beach for a vacation and loved walking up here for lattes. We even got their beans a few times to keep in our Airbnb, and they were gracious enough to grind them for us. Highly recommend Lofty!

Relaxing spot to sip on your coffee while catching up with friends. The service was good, orders came out quick. The parking lot is small but glad that they do have a parking lot. There is street parking. My favorite is the Iced Salted Caramel Latte. The coffee was strong with a little sweetness to it. If you're in the area please stop by, you will it be disappointed. Thank you Lofty Coffee staff for your hospitality.

Easy to find. Very busy downtown area by the beach. They do have a parking lot but half of it is taken over by the business next door. This is an outside coffee shop - order inside- sit outside. There is a lot of seating and the people working were nice. We came here because they have house made almond milk, house made syrups and they're organic. I ordered the mint matcha with cold foam and it's delicious 5/5 We also ordered The Salted Caramel latte with house made almond milk and cold foam 10/10 !!!! Heads up that they only have one size for drinks - 16oz. I highly recommend going here!

Came here on an early Sunday morning in March 2025. They were the only ones in the area open before 8am and it was a great find. The staff were friendly and prompt with service. The place started to fill with regulars and the ambiance was friendlies enjoying their Sunday morning brew and bites. We got the breakfast chicken croissant, and the Matcha doughnut which did not disappoint. There is a water dispenser in the corner which was clutch because we drink a lot of water quickly. There is plenty of seating and it's dog friendly

A friend took me here for lunch. We had our dogs with us at the Del Mar dog Beach so we needed a place where they are welcomed. This place was perfect with shaded outdoor seating, free dog treats, and a water bowl. We ordered at the front counter and food was brought to our table. We found a table in the back. The drinks were delicious. My friends really like their matcha tea drink. The superfood bowl was quite big too. The croissant turkey sandwich I got was delicious as well. We were all pretty happy with what we ordered. There is a small parking lot at the restaurant. I was lucky enough to nab the last spot. My friends weren't so lucky and had to seek parking elsewhere on the very busy Cedros Ave.

The interior space got revamped so that the workers have more wiggle room, that was cool to see. I didn't see much else that changed though-- oh besides that and the prices. The week before, I ordered the $7.25 Iced Blood Orange Basil Latte (seasonal special). I was eager to try it because I do enjoy citrus notes with my coffee. But this one lacked the flavors I was hoping to taste. It was all too subtle for me. I wouldn't order it again, but it was nice to try. 4-5 stars! Overall, I've enjoyed my many visits to 7 Seas Roasting & been here through many changes. I do think the coffee drinks are pretty solid and would recommend checking out their seasonal specials when they have them. My top favorites would be: dark mocha raspberry, banana split latte, and the thin mint latte. If you ever see these on the menu, I highly recommend trying them! They have ample seating, outdoors only. The baristas are alll very kind too. It's a great place to spend your time at.

There were a few breakfast items available and a few pastries. We had the chocolate muffin and although it was very good, I don't think I would pay $7.70 for it again. The employee was very friendly. The drink originally isn't that sweet to begin with. I found their matcha to be strong but alright. Not the best quality but not bad. The strawberry foam on top was whatever. I would come back but to try their chai.

[Bunny Encounters & Price]: Our party booked a 30-minute bunny session ahead of our visit. For reservations, they offer a 20-minute session for $22 per person or a 30-minute session for $25 per person. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. Reservations are recommended on weekends. [Bunny Experience]: The garden has one window counter for ordering coffee drinks and another counter for bunny sessions. Our party arrived on time, waited in line, and ended up 5 minutes late to our scheduled session. The staff instructed us not to pick up the bunnies and our party had to wear shoe covers before entering the pens. During the session, our party was able to ask the staff as many leaves as we want. Personally, I found the experience a bit underwhelming because (1) I was only able to get the bunnies' attention with leaves and (2) since visitors can't pick up the bunnies, the only activities our party could do were feeding them and watching them eat leaves. There is also a small house with baby bunnies. [Menu]: After the bunny session was over, our party walked up to the window counter and ordered coffee drinks. The top highlighted drinks include The Gardener and The Florist (ceremonial unsweetened organic matcha with rose). Iced drinks 16 oz only. They also sell pizza here. *** The Gardener (organic espresso with honey, lavender, and vanilla - iced 16 oz - $7.50): The drink tasted a bit sweeter than I would have preferred. *** The garden has a good first-date vibe, but personally this is a one-and-done spo. I was disappointed that visitors can't pick up the bunnies even if they hop onto your lap. I recommend sticking with the 20-minute session rather than the 30-minute session for the feeding and petting experience. Also the coffee drink I had was mediocre at best.

The only flavor that none of us enjoyed was the strawberry rose champagne oolong tea, so when it came time for refills, we switched it to the rouge provence. For the food, there were four finger sandwiches: chicken breast, smoked salmon, cucumbers, and chopped spinach. We all liked the chicken breast one the most, and felt like the cucumbers and chopped spinach could have been combined into one sandwich for a more balanced flavor. For sweets, there was the seasonal scone, fruit tart, macaron, and donut. I loved the scone with the butter and fruit preserves, as well as the fruit tart. The service was polite, but a bit slow and we waited a while before our food arrived. There was only one person who was serving the entire afternoon tea area, so it's understandable that there's a longer wait.
