I had high expectations for this place as it is in a great location, wonderfully decorated and has a menu with variety. Since it was my first time I asked the cashier a few questions about the menu and items in the pastry case. He was super friendly and patiently rattled off about every pastry option they offered. I ordered the cinnamon bun latte and a blueberry muffin (warmed). The muffin came out quickly, but wasn't warmed all the way through. Not a big deal. The actual muffin was below average. It only had blueberries in the muffin top and none in the base of the muffin that the paper covered. A Costco muffin is better in my opinion. Next, the coffee. I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee and I believe it was due to the "system" the single barista was using. She was waiting until she had 5-7 drink orders and then making them all at the same time in unison. She would then call out the orders all at the same time. Leaving 5-7 drinks sitting on the counter at the same time without names. Although I'm sure this made her job easier, it did not seem customer focused and it did not get drinks to customers as quickly as possible. The taste of my latte left much to be desired. What a cute shop! The cafe had lots of little decorations making the experience of sitting inside very pleasant. If you're looking for something unique, i would definitely give it a try. Lots of happy customers drinking coffee and chatting or studying. The food was quick and the staff were very friendly, i went back for a seccond pastry for my mom (because it was so yummy) and she gave me a discount because to save me the trouble of breaking another $1! I wonder if they still serve coffee in a lightbulb- if that interests you, i would ask. Not sure how expensive that would be. Unfortunately, this place has really gone downhill. I come here almost every week since I live in the neighborhood, and I've noticed a steady decline in both the service and the quality of the coffee. Many of the baristas seem new, so at first, I tried to be patient but week after week, the drinks have gotten worse. The coffee often tastes burnt, has chunks in it, or is completely the wrong order. The staff also doesn't seem as friendly or welcoming as they used to be, which is disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite spots. I'm not sure if there's new management or what changed, but something definitely needs to be addressed. Sadly, I don't think I'll be coming back unless things improve. read more

Food Quality: The turkey sandwich with white eggs had a pretty good flavor. It was light, the baggel was fresh, and turkey bacon was cooked just at the right crispyness. What a cute coffee shop! I came here to grab a coffee and work for the afternoon. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee which is condensed milk with their cold brew and I really liked it! I expected the drink to be on the sweeter side but it wasn't. It was perfect and could taste the cold brew through the condensed milk. Woah this place is good! I think I found my new go to coffee spot near work. I ordered a cinnamon bun coffee and lemon pepper chicken wrap for $24 and every dollar was worth it! I stopped here for a work afternoon and it was PERFECT! I got a Turkish Hazelnut latte which was fantastic but there are tons of other coffee and even non coffee options. So overall, fantastic menu. They have baked goods as well as a variety of food options if you want something more. The setup is awesome, there are big tables for groups, small tables for one/two, as well as some nice outdoor seating. Very spacious so it doesn't feel crowded even when there are lots of people there. WiFi was also fantastic and reliable so great place to work or study. My niece took me to Light Bulb Coffee several times while I was visiting. I do not drink coffee but I love food. I never knew what an acai bowl was until my first trip here. My niece and her husband were obsessed with them lol! And honestly after I took a bite I was too. And it's pretty healthy. I couldn't eat a whole bowl. Bonus, drinks were served in a light bulb cup which I thought was a cute touch. I tasted my nieces breakfast sandwich and it was delicious but not as good as my chocolate croissant lol! Lots of space and nicely decorated... Good ambience. Large selection of croissants. However, they are completely unable to make a lightly sweet coffee. The first coffee I received tasted like I was drinking straight up syrup with just a splash of milk. I asked them if I could just dump out half of it and top it with black coffee, but they said no, they had to remake it. I asked them to please remake it at 1/3 sweetness, but the 2nd cup was still probably 80% syrup. I didn't ask for a third. The inside of the shop has a cozy feel with lots of quirky, rustic decor. The plaza parking area is kinda tight, but there are always some 1 hour parking spots open, which is perfect if you are just stopping by. food ordered: - vietnamese ($5.50): ordered it half sweet and it was quite good! nice, roasty, and strong. - pitcraft turkey sandwich ($12.50): this was a super yummy and filling sandwich! I love the chipotle sauce, has a perfect amount of spice. The veggies were sliced thin, and the bread is a soft version of a baguette. I would definitely return to this shop!
