There was an Asian Gentlemen mid 50's he told me that before they looked into my TV I had to pay a diagnosis fee and cash, at the moment I had no cash so I told him I would be back. Owner or Employee I don't know what his roll there is told me that I needed to come back otherwise my TV was just going to sit there, at that point I just wanted to take my TV back and go somewhere else but I realize that it was the only place close to my house therefore I went and got the money. Two days later they called me and said they found out what was wrong with the TV and that is was going to be $228.00 to fix it. This was on A Tuesday. I said "No problem I am in Oregon right now" which is 3 hour away from Seattle "I will be back on Friday to pay so that you guys can get it fix" Once again he said we wont fix it until you pay first. I said no problem I will be there Friday and he kept on saying we wont fix it or touch it until you pay. I decided to go down there and just pick up my TV instead. I rather pay twice as much somewhere else where I know that my costumer service will be appreciated. YOU PAY FIRST OR WE DONT DO NOTHING is not the way to do business. I know my TV is worth more than $2,000.00 they could've kept the TV if I dint pay or something.

He is very much skilled and knows the locks and electronics very well. He does TV repairs also but with the new flat screen plasma, LED, LCD, and etc. have became so complicated and costly to repair, he has opted out to not repair them anymore. These TVs also have a high depreciation that it's probably worth just buying a new one if it's damaged. Otherwise, feel free to take all your lock needs including home and office to him. He also provides mobile service and will open any locks.

I was calling Desco to sort out a technical issue which was beyond my expertise. I was fortunate that Dick Tappenden answered the phone. In a matter of minutes Dick was able to sort out the issue (sight unseen!) thereby restoring the audio and video connections to the large screen Sony television we had purchased from Desco several years earlier.
