Terrible experience. Staff was extremely rude & disrespectful. On top of that, I was upcharged for services & publicly shamed about the amount I tipped (which honestly, it took everything in my body to tip in the first place). A good friend of mine booked my 6-year-old daughter & I an appointment with her & her daughter & the 4 of us were all supposed to get manis & pedis together as a birthday "moms & daughters day" gift for my daughter's birthday. My daughter & I sat & waited for approx. an hour before our services started as the other 2 were taken care of -- this as people were walking in after we got there & didn't have an appointment & they were still getting tended to before us! On top of that -- my daughter's gel polish all fell off not even 24 hours later. The owner acted all chatty & kind to my friend who made the appointment -- as she is a repeat customer. But when my friend wasn't around (she had to bring the girls next door to Caribou Coffee to kill time as my services began so long after them) they were very rude to me. This level of two-faced antics shocked me as it was incredibly childish & unprofessional. Stay away from this place & spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Since I moved to the area I have been looking for a nail salon place where I can make it my regular spot. This is the third place I've tried and I like it. I worked with Sandy and she is very nice. She might not talk too much but she very considerate. I have eczema and during this time of year my skin dries and cracks. I showed her where I have sensitive cracking fingers, toes and skin. She was very careful to not irritate those areas. I appreciated that attention to detail. They have several options for pedicures. I chose the Lifetime Deluxe. This felt nice and my feet definitely were pampered. When it came to my fingernails I brought in some nail stickers I bought online and she accommodated me. At the end of the visit I felt good, my nails looked nice and I feel comfortable to come back. Overall price for everything its not cheap but I think it's worth it. If you're concerned about price ask ahead and make sure to verify how much you will be paying. I don't get my nails done super frequent but when I do I expect to pay between $110 - $150 after tip for a good mani/pedi. read more

I have gone for a fill/gel manicure. The first time I went was okay, the technician took a long time to paint my nails and had a strange order of painting. I'm pretty observant and on the second coat I had to remind her that she didn't do one of the nails with the second coat. Overall it was a fine experience, just took a really long time. Second time I went I saw a different technician. At first it was going well, she was really fast which I like. But then when she was done I noticed she hasn't painted my whole nail, leaving the edges bare... So she had to redo them. The gel was very uneven and when I pointed out the uneven/sloppiness around the edges she began to cut away at my cuticles... I left there with 3 fingers bleeding and just about in tears. I called when I got home and talked to Jackie, who said I could come back and she would fix it. I wasn't able to that day and also was bleeding pretty bad so didn't want anyone else messing with them. so I went back a week later. Jackie did my nails. She works quick and pretty thorough, however most of my nails were filed to lean slightly to the right. She also used that buffer/filing tool and 2-3x I pulled my hand away because it was painful- I think she was buffing down my natural nail with that spinning tool. She told me she needed to do that to get everything looking smooth. I didn't say anything about the learning nails because at this point I'd decided what's the use and this salon just isn't for me. She took off $10 as a discount for the previous time I was there, but honestly I wish I just hadn't gone back and tried somewhere else. read more

I just moved across the street and decided to try this place out....I will never return. Let me explain why. I went in for a mani/pedi, I chose the classic pedicure which happens to be the cheapest one, but I just didn't feel like getting a super long massage so I went for it. After I told the nail tech I wanted that pedicure, he seemed to stop caring about my experience and rushed through it. It was not precise, the massage actually hurt because he was talking to his coworker the whole time and squeezing the life out of my calves, and my feet did not feel any different, but he did a good paint job, so I'll give him that. Now THIS is where it goes south... I believe my nail tech's name was Anna....and she was awful. I keep my nails short, so usually there isn't much filing to be done, but alas, she was filing for ages. Half of the time she was filing my skin and not even the nail, which was painful and my fingers are now raw so I'll attach those images. She told me to wash my hands without soap, so I go to the sink and I'm clearly not using soap, just rinsing, and she comes over and says "NO SOAP" ...like girl did you see me reach for the soap??? Are there bubbles in the sink?? Why are you talking to me like a toddler? So I dry my hands and sit back down, she starts filing my skin AGAIN. Finally, she starts to paint my nails in a strange order considering she's using gel and I have to put my hands under the light after every coat. As I have my right hand under the light, she snaps at me to put it all the way under...when it clearly was all the way under. At this point I just want to leave, but I figured I may as well let her finish. She continues the sloppiest manicure I've ever received by spilling nail polish on me twice....after the polish had cured under the light, she noticed it on my skin and took a file DIRECTLY TO MY SKIN to get it off. When she finally finishes I go up to the front to pay. Now I was raised to always leave a tip, and so even though the experience was absolutely awful, I wrote in the tip on the receipt that doesn't even have a spot for a tip. She looks at the tip which obviously is not gonna be a great one at this point, and proceeds to make a comment about it and pressures me to add more. I have never ever experienced such unprofessional behavior at a salon. I'm still mad at myself for even sitting though it. If you're considering going here, don't. The only star I gave it was for the decor. read more

My sister and I tried out this nail salon since it's super close to our place. The first time, we absolutely loved our manicures. Unfortunately we forgot who our ladies were, but both were gentle, careful, and patient. I was getting a full set done and another customer came in to get a fill. Jackie greeted her by name and in my thoughts I was impressed she knew her customers who obviously returns to her. Throughout the week I had plenty of compliments on my nails as well. We we're definitely coming back. Two weeks later we went back in and had two different manicurist. We didn't book the ladies we had previously assuming the rest of the team would be just as exceptional. It was pretty busy and Jackie was my person. I had a full set acrylic done (pictures included). I knew Jackie would be great through my previous observation. She's fast! Which I appreciate and I like my nails! My sister on the other hand, literally, got her fingers murdered. She tried dip for the first time suggesting the nails would last longer. Her nails are spotty. Her cuticles... pictures attached. The manicurist seemed to try hiding her blood by rubbing the alcohol roughly into her nail. At the end we were showing our nails to each other and she was apologizing about my sisters cuticles adding Vaseline onto them. The next day she had to bandage all her fingers because they were bruised and puffy! I felt so bad. My sister said she would never go back. I convinced her if we go back to book with her previously lady. We will see! read more

i do Love this place but, the only downside is that i personally believe they charge to much for a fill!! you pay 60 some already for acrylics ( i get french tips ) which is totally fine but for a full to cost 46 + a tip just seems a little costy to me ! read more

This is the place! I've been to a lot of salons around the area and this is by far the best. Clean, quiet and relaxing. They have a ton of color options (gel, dip, etc) The staff has NEVER turned me away because they were busy. Always welcoming. read more

I've been going to this place regularly simce highschool and college and never had a bad experience. Only place I trusted to do my nails for my wedding too. Moved out of state for three years and couldn't wait to be back to be able to start coming here again because I never found somewhere comparable. The staff is all really friendly, there is a slight language barrier sometimes so I feel bad when I have trouble understanding what they're saying to me but that's at most places honestly, the difference with this place is they seem genuinely nice still. Got a standard manicure at the last minute. The lady who did my nails was awesome. She was friendly, held a great conversation, and my nails looked great after. They haven't chipped, and the shape is exactly what I asked for. She also made sure to leave them long enough to keep my hands looking good as a whole (I have tiny nails). The only downside I saw was the limited selection and lack of organization of polish colors. But I ended up finding a great shade, and I'm not upset. I will definitely be returning for a manicure or polish change soon. read more

Inconsistent. I've had powder nails here twice. The first set was AMAZING - 3 weeks and still looked new. The second set is lumpy with inconsistent color and huge chips after one week. I had the worst experience at this nail salon. My friend is a nail technician and was out of town before I needed my nails done, needless to say...I had to go to another salon. I went to this place because it was close to my job and i thought I could refer my clients if I liked them. I made an appointment the day before, walked in and everyone looked confused. the over all establishment is clean and cute, the service was horrible. I was thinking by making an appointment the day before I could avoid hassle. I ended up having 3 different nail techs work on me, and I told one nail technician how to do her job.... I'm actually quite disappointed to be writing a bad review for this salon as it was my close to home go to salon. Even though the prices are higher than others I normally have had good experiences here. Today however was not. I wanted to get my gel polish removed and get a standard manicure as I don't have time to keep up the care of gel polish. The lady helping me reminded me multiple times it would be extra to remove the gel - which was no problem. She then proceeded to tear the gel polish off of two nails without soaking them in acetone first using a cuticle clipper. I stopped her asking (even though I know the answer) "doesn't this damage the nail?" She then responded no.. And looked at my clearly damaged nail and attempted to do a third nail. I stopped her and said "I could have pick the polish off on my own". She then responded "well next time take the polish off at home and you won't have to pay extra". It was at that point I decided I would thank her kindly and take my business elsewhere- which is exactly what I did. I showed the new salon my nail damage not mentioning what happened and they told me "you should never pick off your gel polish". I am including photos of each hand- one with the polish taken off correctly and the other with it damaged from being torn off at this nail salon. Needless to say I will not be returning. read more

I've been getting pedicures at this location for at least six years, but I'll never go back again. I brought my good friend here to treat her to a pedicure for her birthday. She hadn't had a pedicure in a couple of years because she's self conscious about a toenail that was ripped off and hasn't grown back completely. Unfortunately, the treatment she received was basically her worst fears come true. Not only did her nail tech immediately start making fun of her injury to her coworkers (thank you to Google Translate, which picked up "big toe, big toe" over and over again) but many of them made a point of walking past and gesturing disgustedly to each other. I was horrified that I had brought my friend there for this treatment! For reference, the toenail was in no way discolored or gross looking, it was merely half gone. The nail tech didn't even bother ask her what had happened to the nail and halfheartedly asked if she wanted it painted (she declined). She barely touched that foot and did a sloppy job painting the four "good" nails. Seriously unprofessional. She obviously did not deserve a tip, but my mother was a hair stylist and I can't help it. read more

Nails look great, seriously. Service, not so great. I felt very uncomfortable during my visit. I have gone here before and haven't had an issue prior but this time was not the same. My nail tech (Yen, maybe?) was very dismissive and not kind whatsoever. When asking questions about what she could do vs not do with my nails her answers were bare and very vague. I asked about the new ombre look that they advertise on a faux hand when you walk into the shop and was told they do not provide that option. That was no biggie, chose just a solid color instead, understandable. Fast forward to when I needed to dry my nails under the UV light... my nails got a little bit smudged and my tech made it very clear how upset she was with me. She actually put my own nail up closer to my face and said, "you are ruining it!" as if I hadn't already noticed it. Very embarrassing. I said, "I'm not doing it on purpose, this hasn't happened before." She continued to loudly speak at me, "Careful!!". It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to leave then and there but knew that would just be dumb on my part. I also did not get the shape I asked for on my acrylics even though I mentioned it several times. She did not seem like she gave a care in the world about what I wanted. Unfortunately, I will not be returning for another fill in the future. read more

I stopped here a few years back and at the time would have given them 5 starts. This most recent visit not so much. I was seated promptly which was fantastic and decided to upgrade to the $40 pedicure. For the extra $13 I was given a sugar scrub and wax dip. Not really worth it. I also love a good massage and thought for the added money that would be upgraded as well but it was fairly brief. After drying I noticed a few spots of polish on the toes and not the nails. I dont need perfection but most other places I visit dont leave any extra marks. Its an ok spot if you are in a pinch but so many better options out there! read more

My actual nails were shaved off, which bothered me the most because I'm trying to grow out my nails. Some of the nails are also different shapes. I've been here a handful of times and typically come out feeling like a pampered queen. Yesterday however, I took two girlfriends for pedicures, even called to make an appointment, but was thoroughly disappointed with the entire experience. We were told to pick our colors and sit in the last 3 chairs. And then we waited. For over 45 mins for anyone to even acknowledge us. It was fairly busy and we accepted that, but we watched as others walked in, sat, and immediately got working on their pedicure. By this time our feet were freezing from soaking in cold water and we were talking about leaving because we had other things to do. The staff must have heard this and said, "2 minutes", and 15 minutes later one woman finally came over and started. And then 10 mins later another, and then another. All in all, this pedi took roughly 2 hours. When I made the effort to make an appointment, I expect to have priority over a walk in. I think I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

When my husband realized I hadn't had a pedicure in over 2 years he forced me out of the house with his wallet (I have a wonderful husband). I went to this place for their best pedicure. I LOVED the woman who helped me. I wish I remembered her name but she was the boss lady for sure. Loved her. She was so blunt about the sad state of my feet but in a totally non-offensive way. She was caring and great. Reservations were always honored (sometimes they are not). Chairs were comfy and massage functions wonderful. Spic and span - so clean. Great polish color selection. So many different options for pedis and manis in differing price ranges. Don't let the cub foods parking lot location fool you - this is a high quality place. I won't wait another 2 years to have a pedicure - in fact I have an appointment here coming up shortly, lucky me! Bonus - it's next door to Papa Murphy's so I can get a pedi and a pizza meaning I get to relax and then don't have to make dinner! Does it get better than that? read more

The lady rushed through painting my nails and there were bubbles on every nail. I had to ask them to re file them after they were done because they were so jagged and rough. The lady also didn't even take off all of my dark nail polish I had on prior so my manicure ended up looking bad because the dark remnants showed through. They are not friendly and did a bad job. I don't like to write negative reviews because I realize that people own these businesses, so I really considered this before deciding to go ahead and review. I was at the Vicksburg lane location. The place is nice and clean and they have many colors to chose from. The staff did a lot of talking amongst themselves in their own language. it's obvious when they're talking about customers as body language is universal and that's just rude. Let me start by saying i do not have sensitive feet. The nail tech was very rough. She gouged me both with her nails and with the clipper at least 5 times. When she put the hot towel on my legs/feet, it was so hot it burned me. She apologized several times and truly felt bad. She explained she was unable to feel how hot it was through her gloves but that is no excuse. I did not blister but even a full day later the tops of my feet were very read and tender to the touch. I normally believe in giving places a second chance but this time I won't be going back. read more
