I can't say enough good things about The Local Moving Company. They handled our out-of-state move…read morewith exceptional care and professionalism from start to finish. Every item was loaded, and unloaded thoughtfully, and it was clear the team genuinely cared about protecting our belongings--not just getting the job done quickly. The crew was punctual, efficient, and respectful, and they communicated clearly throughout the entire process, which made a potentially stressful move feel smooth and manageable. On top of the excellent service, their pricing was very affordable, especially for an out-of-state move, and there were no surprise charges. If you're looking for a moving company that combines care, reliability, and great value, I highly recommend The Local Moving Company. We would absolutely use them again. Thank you Dirul & your whole team!

It was completely mobbed so looked up the nearest packaging store and landed here. This place is jam packed with all kinds of things for sale, a wall of PO boxes, and behind the counter were mounds of packages to be picked up by UPS and the USPS. The lady who greeted me was super friendly and took care of me right away. What a relief compared to my visit to the post office! I don't know if there's an upcharge to send through this place, but I imagine so. Nonetheless, it was worth it not to have to stand in a huge line at the RTP PO! My package is on it's way to my friend with plenty of time to spare.

So attitude matters, I come out of my way to come here instead of one closer to our house. Also it helps they are the only one in the neighborhood that is open on Sundays. There is a minor request for improvement though - I wish the door was auto opening instead of hand pull. If you have a couple of small or a mid size package, and some time if it is raining an umbrella, you don't have a third hand to open the door. I hope they are willing to make such an investment.

Brandon left for vacation & the team he sent on the second day literally threw stuff on the truck. Because they did such a sloppy job packing the truck, items shifted, were damaged & destroyed. We stood & watched as our items were unloaded and literally EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE had some damage to it. Our bed, an antique bed from the 1800s, a jewelry armoire, a toy box - all completely torn apart. The loss was devastating. After 2 months we are still waiting for Brandon to make the situation right. Edited to add: I added 22 pictures of our damaged and destroyed items but yelp only posted a handful.

My boyfriend and I moved from Morrisville to Raleigh and upgraded from a 1br to a 2br. Competitors quoted us almost $900 for the move and we thought no way! I sent a message to Sawyers and was informed of an amazing promotion for Yelp customers that saved me a ton of money. You will not be able to find a comparable service compared to the price Sawyers can give you. They actually moved us on a Sunday which was awesome because roads and both apt complexes were pretty quiet. The 3 men (Dimitri and crew) were extremely friendly, focused, and intricate with their packing and loading. I'll admit, I was pretty stressed out about the whole moving process but as soon as their truck pulled up I felt a wave of relief. They finished everything up in about 4 hours and I can't imagine how long it would've taken me to do it myself. They took a lot of care to place everything where it needed to go and wanted to make sure we were happy with the job. I can't recommend Sawyers enough! If I move again in the future I definitely know what company I will be calling.

Furniture looked great after the move and movers were even early to unload the next day. The movers went above and beyond by tightening some legs on a table that were loose before loading it. Highly recommend them for moving! Prices are very reasonable as well.
