The star of the meal was the bacon, egg, and cheese on a hero with black pepper. This sandwich was outstanding. The bread was fresh, airy, soft, and absolutely beautiful. There was so much egg it was practically spilling out both ends of the sandwich. I personally prefer my eggs cooked a little firmer, but that was completely on me because I never asked for them that way. The bacon was cooked perfectly with great flavor, crispness, and no excess grease. You can tell this deli genuinely cares about the food they serve. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail really stand out. I also grabbed a bag of chips and a bottled sparkling water, and everything came to about $31. While that may sound a little high for breakfast, considering the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the area, I thought it was completely justified. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood deli you hope to find. Great food, fantastic service, and owners who truly care about their customers. I discovered they stay open late before the pandemic occurred which had me frequent there after late shifts. All of this was great though the prices are much higher then normal but its the area. The expired food items sometimes is the down side to frequenting this place. The rudeness of the business workers though! The disrespect the owner displayed was racist and belligerent. There is traditionally 15 min parking in front of the store but due to the Pandemic it is not being enforced. As a healthcare worker pulling long hours day in and day out during trying times the owner or worker decided to harass me twice after pulling a 20 hour shift and turn around time in less then 6 hours. He proceeded to tell me that he would complain to authorities if I continued to park in front of his store. He yelled at me being a brown person and how he is superior. He stays open much later and opens up early which is violating the shelter in policy but I don't care about that. He does not own the street and is not the only business on the street.I will NEVER patronize this place again.
