The first thing I noticed upon arriving late afternoon is that parking sucks. This plaza has the shittiest parking. You're going to have to park a ways away unless you're lucky. The bar service was meh. The bartender was busy chatting with a friend of hers and another employee who kept coming over and sitting at the bar. Obviously, not enough to keep her busy. Lib's Grill is truly a delicious and wonderful experience. My husband and I came across this spot by chance and are now lifelong fans. It offers both dine in and bar seating that are separated by a partition so you can have a more causal and laid back visit while watching one of their 3 TVs, or sit down in the dining area for tranquil meal. Our server Sherri was amazing! She was kind and attentive and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We decided to go all out and try as much as we could for our first visit. We order the short rib poutine which was French fries, gravy, short rib, truffle oil, and green onions. My husband instantly fell in love. The meat was so tender and had a rich flavor. The French fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was such a large portion that we took most of it home! We also ordered oysters in the half shell as well as clams. They were decadent, so fresh, and truly some of the best seafood we've had. It was really impressive how it comes out in a stand, iced perfectly, and even the lemon's fresh taste was noteworthy. It was simply yet extravagant. You can't go wrong with this dish. I ordered the cream of crab soup and it was delicious. Creamy, full of meat, great flavor, hearty portion. I would definitely order this again without question. For entrees my husband got the shrimp and grits. He's particular about the way his grits are cooked and he said it was to perfect consistency and again, tasted amazing. Such a rich sauce, meaty shrimp, and overall perfect balance of flavor. They don't skimp on portions so we have almost a full meal to eat for leftovers. I order the fish and chips. I expected to get fried fish filets, but got an entire filet cooked perfectly. It was exquisite. The fish was tender and soft, the crust was crunch and a perfect balance to the filet. Not to mention is was covered with crab tartar sauce-- and there were actually huge chunks of crab in the sauce. Where else can you find a tartar sauce that has more than a sprinkle of crab meat? I'm pretty sure Lin's Grill is the only place. The fish rested on a mound of delicious fresh fries seasoned with flaky salt and served with ketchup and vinegar. The perfect combination. The portions were massive! It was worth every penny. Their health bar bread pudding is delicious! I highly recommend trying to save room for dessert or even to take it to go. It's worth it. We left with plenty of leftovers and cannot believe how well we were treated. The Manager Adam came out to check on our table and he was so kind! It really added a personal touch to our evening and made us feel special and tended to. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming. I used to come here every so often and then I moved and wasn't able to come for a few years. Finally made it back and was very happy to return. The service is on point, everyone always greets you saying hello and goodbye. Came here with my boyfriend and his parents. I don't eat meat often and I was able to find a few options. I was pleasantly surprised at the cauliflower flatbread. Super tasty! My boyfriend had fried mussels and the lobster roll. He moved them both. His parents both had pastas. I was impressed with the fact they make their own pasta. I know most restaurants don't take the time to make it themselves. They enjoyed them very much, especially knowing how picky they are. I'm so glad we got a reservation here for Friday night date night. Our server, Vic, was very helpful and attentive. He gave great recommendations from the menu and was very pleasant. The food was delicious. We had the Blackened Tuna Nachos for appetizer- SO GOOD and so unique! My drink (Watermelon Mint Mojito) was perfect- not too sweet. Oysters were delicious, and our entrees (Baltimore Club and Swordfish special) were very good as well. The Baltimore Club is a must try! We have been to brunch here and it is always delicious. The shrimp and grits weren't the best I've ever had (Granny's Restaurant), but they were just beautiful. Medium well Ribeye, sautéed onion & mushrooms with truffle fries. After one bite, I think my brain attempted to compare this steak to Ruth Chris. It's not there, but I was surprised it was that delicious. The pan-roasted chicken dish comes with " prosciutto" on top. At the time, I didn't know what "prosciutto" was. Unfortunately, the monster doesn't eat pork. Therefore, I had to return my dish. No-fuss was made, and my new dish came out in a fashionable time. Family !! Just go and witness this dish. Very delicious and rich. It gives you exactly the taste you desire. Two pieces of well roasted, good size chicken. At this point, I'm delighted and sold on this place. Corrie, my waitress, then surprised the table with a complimentary health bar cake (not really the name) dessert. Fabulous. As of now, I really don't know which dish was my favorite. My experience was tremendous. I went around noon on a Thursday, so it wasn't crowded. The restaurant enforces social distancing, but even if it was regular spacing, you still would have enough room to have a private conversation with no one being all in your business. I grabbed the waiter again, laughed, and explained that this was not going to be okay because I cannot have Gluten containing foods touching my food. Even the bathroom was decorated, with a cute little mailbox for letters to Santa, I think. The service overall was good and would have been excellent except our waitress ( her name begins with B, my apologies for not remembering) was stretched super thin, although to her credit she was definitely doing the best she could with what she had. The food was delicious and everything came out in short order. The staff was friendly, professional, and worked efficiently. I always visit at least once each time there is a restaurant week promotion. Last week our group all chose from the restaurant week menu, and everything was great. Shrimp and grits appetizer was amazingly flavorful. I had the short rib rigatoni which was filled with tender beef. My friends had salmon, which is always a good dish. A 10 oz filet was perfectly cooked and looked great as well -- this was the dish of the night. Worth the $10 extra charge. The restaurant week menu is so good, I'll be back tonight. Time for a revision! My previous review was based on one visit. Fiancé and I came here to celebrate our 4th anniversary a bit ago and just recently (today) Valentine's day. I previously took off a point for the bread that I didn't like and just tasted stale. They changed the bread to a focaccia type bread with oil and it's delicious! 1000% better than their old bread. Again, fiancé and I came here for Vday and ordered oysters, baked Brie, and entrees. There was a miscommunication with the baked Brie and it never made into the order. What I was super impressed with was the waitresses attempts to rectify the situation. It wasn't a super big deal bc I understand mistakes happen, but she comped a dessert and a glass of wine because she forgot. She said it was on her and I really hope it was the restaurant who comped the items versus her own personal money (we tried to make that clear but in the end all we know is it was taken off our bill-- we tried to make it up in tip just Incase) Super great customer service. I decide on the NY strip with truffle fries and subbed out the garlic spinach for the asparagus and added sautéed mushrooms. Delicious Food and great service! I met my mother here at 4pm on a Monday and sat at a high top table in the bar side. We ordered food off the Happy Hour menu, fries oysters, fish tacos, Brussel sprouts and the Short Rib Poutine. Everything was very delicious. We both love fried oysters and these were the best! The fish tacos were great and large. We also loved the Brussel sprouts. The Short Rib Poutine was a very generous size with lots of meat. It was good, but we were too full to eat it much of it. Honestly, pleasantly surprised with our experience last night. My partner, friend and sister in law came to Libs for dinner last night during the Super Bowl. We had never been, wanted a place open and my SIL is Gluten free so a quick Yelp search ended us here. We will absolutely be back. We throughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff. It was clean, and felt neighborly without feeling exclusive. Us city folks being in the county and what not. Food was really good. A lot better than expected. They had a huge gluten free menu for my sister in law to enjoy.
