My boyfriend said the food was 3-star but I gave them an extra star for their service, friendly attitude, decor, and clean bathrooms. The fish tacos for an appetizer were AMAZING. Only thing was, I wish there were three instead of only two; presentation wasn't the greatest either because they were just flat instead of in a taco stand. I should have ordered another serving for my dinner though because they were THAT good. I ordered the turkey burger as my main meal and it was extremely dry and the fries seemed like they sat for a while. I'd go back, but I'd try something else. My boyfriend ordered the Ribeye and wanted it medium rare but it was a little over cooked and not worth the $30 price tag; presentation on the cutting block was cool though. There aren't many non-chain options in White Marsh/Perry Hall, so Lib's Grill has become one of my go-to spots when visiting my family in the area. On my must-have list: the crab dip (a real Baltimore crab dip with a generous amount of crab and cheese), the truffle fries (during my last visit I got the short rib poutine and I just ended up eating around the short rib. Didn't love the meat but the fries are LEGIT), and the toffee bread pudding (lots of toffee and the bread pudding has the perfect texture). I only go to Lib's when I'm visiting over a weekend so I cannot speak to the happy hour specials, but the drinks that I've had are decent---nothing that I can remember, but nothing I've ever had an issue with either. The service is quick and friendly, and there are plenty of TVs (and as long as you're not in during a Ravens game, the bartenders will be happy to change the channel to your program of choice). All in all, if you want decent drinks and good food, Lib's Grill is one of the best options in the area. read more

Have come here a few times over the past few years and it has always been consistent, yummy, and service has been good. The menu is the sort of menu where I could close my eyes, point to something, it and be happy with what I got... it is eclectic without being too much so. :) Today I got the mussels appetizer and the small filet. The sauce for the mussels was rich and I loved it. The filet was cooked perfectly to medium rare and the I loved the blue cheese on the potato gratin. We searched from Yelp for the top 10 but some of restaurants were not willing to take our business so we decided to give Lib's a try. We were so happy to have awesome and delicious food at Lib's. The person who served us named Greg, is an super nice guy and offered us outstanding service. The seating situation in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. All of the tables feel like they are on top of one another. I ordered the Sunday Brunch Breakfast Tacos which included 3 tacos and side of tater tots. The tacos were good and I would have rated higher if they were better seasoned. There should have been an option besides tots - maybe truffle fries or side of fruit. I also had the Deviled Eggs which were a complete miss and not at all "stuffed with crab". The seafood avocado toast served more like salmon and lox and lacked avocado. The monkey bread was excellent and I would recommend that as a great meal starter. Overall I would return to try their regular menu but would skip brunch. Their menu is priced extremely fairly. read more

What we've enjoyed: deviled eggs, crab cake sandwich, grilled pork chop, meat loaf, Cesar salad, spinach salad, crab dip, and truffle parm fries. I ordered the fish tacos which were really yummy. My son ordered the steak frites which was cooked perfectly. I tasted it and it was delicious. The ambiance was nice, not too crowded and both the outside and inside seating was available. We chose to eat inside. Our service was top notch from the moment we entered the restaurant. Our server was named Anna, she was excellent as she regularly checked in with us and refilled our drinks. I haven't had such a positive experience with a server in a restaurant as great as this one. It's in a strip mall in the middle of a complex. Weird but it works. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and hospitable. I ordered the crab soup and seafood flatbread and my boyfriend ordered a burger. We split the short rib poutine (which was inhaled way too quickly for a photo). The soup was good, lumpy with crab meat. The poutine was really great. The only thing I'd change is that it would need to have cheese curds. It's not. True poutine without curds. The flatbread was excellent! Flatbread coated in crab dip, topped with shrimp, crab, and cheese. A few fun things: there's a huge list of oysters on the back wall, and the women's bathroom has a box of love notes to spread positivity.
