Love this little spot. Close to home. Fish tacos are awesome. Edamame is also a fave and you can never go wrong with an Asian mule. A weekly go to for me! read more

Jasmyn was great, very quick with assisting my lovely girlfriend and I. Brightened our day. Also good food.

We ordered curbside take out. The process was very easy- just text when you arrive and they bring it right out to the car. The food was fresh and tasty! read more

We came here on a Friday night because we got a gift card and were excited about trying a new place. When we entered the service was already poor. The hostess didn't say hello nor did she ask us to follow her to our table. She just picked up the menus and walked away. I understand when a place is busy you aren't necessarily thinking of striking up a conversation, but still, I'd expect just a bit of friendliness from the staff. We ordered a tuna tartar that did not taste fresh and smelled a bit like my cat's canned food. I had fish tacos for my entree. They were soggy and and had a wasabi sharpness to it in the cole slaw in the taco. My husband had the flat iron steak and said it was tough and had little taste. We ended up giving them 2 stars because our server was good and was very enthusiastic about the desserts. read more

We didn't have a good experience. Not sure what I ate that had me vomiting 2 hours later but I will NEVER go back. I shared the fried oysters and ordered the short rib rigatoni and a glass of sangria(it tasted like club soda was added before serving). My daughter was safe and ordered a salad with grilled chicken. They over cooked my husband's rib eye steak and the waitress said the mgr would bring out another one and speak with him. The mgr brought it out and said "Sorry bout that!"...So we're $100 poorer but we know not to eat here again. ***Did some research the short rib rigatoni is served with burrata which I must have been allergic since it's made with buffalo milk. read more

I ordered from here every other week. Excellent service and excellent food with decent portion size. If you order online the food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes of what they promise. read more

Went back to Lib's grill and everything has improved! Amazingly fast service, incredible food, and a manager even checked on how we were doing. All I can say is: GET THE CRAB FETTUCCINI. This dish was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I am so bummed it is only a summer item, and I plan to go back several times before the end of summer to get my fill of it! read more

First time customer long time HoCo resident. Pros: online service and curbside was seamless. Not many places in HoCo text you when they've received their order and also text when the order is ready. This was A plus! Pork street tacos and bacon BBQ chicken were major hits, as was shrimp and grits. Half order of latter was plenty for one person not wanting to overeat. The chicken sandwiches were huge as were the side portions of fries. Cons: Ordered the short rib poutine per other Yelpers. This was disappointing. The "short rib" tasted like an unsalted pot roast. Very little cheese (no curds - which is true poutine) and very little gravy. Soggy fries in poutine and sides - but this may be a function of takeout and not the restaurant's issue. Overall a good first impression and thankful to Libs for a pandemic dinner that was enjoyed by all. read more

First time eating here and ordered online with curbside pickup - which was extremely efficient and loved the text message to let us know our order was ready. Wife loved the pork street tacos. I loved the shrimp and grits - a half order was really enough for a single adult portion. Kids got bacon BBQ fried chicken sandwiches, which were HUGE (two people could easily split it and the enormous portion of fries with each sandwich). The only miss in our meal was the short rib poutine - which we ordered based on prior reviews. With respect, this was neither short rib nor poutine. The meat has the taste and consistency of pot roast - not short rib - and unfortunately had no flavor. There was minimal cheese or gravy and a whole lot of soggy fries. This dish was disappointing - but the overall experience was positive, and based on the superb curbside service and other plates that were very good, we'd be willing to give Libs a try again. Thank you for serving us a nice family dinner during tough times. read more

I wish I could rate them based on the food but... about a week ago, I made a reservation online for today, Monday July 4th, for lunch. I received a confirmation email and text when I made the reservation. Today, I received another text message to confirm my reservation. I replied confirming it and got another text thanking me for confirming. All of the details were there and were correct. When my friend and I arrived, there was no one there, the place was dark and there were no signs saying they were closed. There were several other people who walked up just after us who also made online reservations. Libs grill- you've got work to do! As this was a lunch for a birthday and we had to suddenly make other plans, I will be calling tomorrow to complain. read more

Wonderful dinner for our group in the PDR (private dining room). The decor is amazing and loved still seeing some Xmas on 1/21! I'm okay with that! Our server was very patient as we chatted a lot before ordering. Food came out fast and fresh. All was enjoyed. I only live 10 min down 216 and will be back. I got a quick look at the bar and Tv's and it looks like a fun time. read more

The last 3 times eating there were awful. Finance's son wanted to eat there so I went. Once again every dish I ordered was so salty and too much added old bay. We brought home the MD crab soup no way to doctor up so it would up in the can. The crab cake we order was the same way...doused in salt n old bay. We won't be eating there any longer. Last 2 meals my oysters were fried to a crisp and the fish on my tacos the same. We are done! Prices are high also. read more

My wife and I chose Lib's Grill based on its location and its positive yelp reviews. We are glad we did. The service was professional and very friendly. Thanks, Kat! It was a bonus to find out that this restaurant has connections to the Liberatores Italian restaurants. We very much enjoyed our apps and entries. We plan on coming back again soon. read more

We have been to this local joint several times now, and it is a consistently great experience. Lib's has friendly and prompt service, and the food is outstanding. Particular highlights are the local oysters on the half shell (one of the key menu items they're known for), the pan roasted chicken, the Asian brussel sprouts, and the Maryland crab soup. On Wednesdays, they have half-priced bottles of wine. read more

The beer cheese pretzel was yum! Small jar, big pretzel...me want all the cheese! The mozz salad was not impressive, not under-satisfying just ok. The service was as expected. It's an up-roaring atmosphere. Would like to go back and try other menu options. read more

Our 1st visit and we will be back. After we were seated quickly, David and Tanya provided us with excellent service They were always a step a head of us with fills for our drinks and next order. Impressed with the variety of food and drink options and the Maryland flare added. The food came quickly: Hub had the NY steak special- tender, perfectly cooked. The spiced sauce complimented the crispy fish tenders. and the Desserts... hard to pick! We ended up picking the cheese cake and bread pudding! read more

So happy to have a great restaurant I know will stick here in Maple Lawn. Asian Brussels sprouts are addicting, short rib poutine is delicious and large enough to eat as a meal. We really wanted to enjoy my husband's birthday celebration meal with our six family members, but the Roseda burgers failed to hit the mark. The "medium" burgers were too rare to finish. Not sure what their chef was thinking. I really enjoyed my Shrimp Cobb Salad and two of our group found the Meso Salmon very good as well as the Brussels sprout and crab ball appetizers shared by all. Unfortunately, the late arrival, almost an hour, of the undercooked burgers and the other entrees ruined the birthday boy's meal. The manager took one burger off the bill and compensated with Nutella desserts and another dessert, but the rare burger left us with an unsavory experience. read more

We booked a same-day reservation last week for a family celebration. I requested in the online booking form that we receive a prosecco toast for 4 at the start of service. Not only was the service prompt and attentive, not only was the food amazing, not only was every request delivered on perfectly, but at the end of the meal we were brought a surprise "celebration" dessert! We had oysters and deviled eggs for starters, and our entrees ranged from the burger to the bourbon filet - everything was cooked perfectly. Even the kids menu had a great range of options and everyone was pleased with their selections. We will definitely be returning! read more

Awesome place. We had the shrimp and seafood flatbread. The burger was also very good. Great atmosphere and food.

Had been to Lib's when they opened and thought it was mediocre. Decided to try again because the location was convenient to meet a friend from Bethesda for lunch. We shared the 'deviled eggs'. Three halves with pinch of crab on top. Where's the deviled? Seriously charging $6??? We ordered salads. My friend had the Southwestern and I had the Spring Mix. His was small and not much taste. Mine was absurd. It was supposed to have 'grilled marinated' vegetables along with bottled ones. It was a deep, smallish bowl stuffed with greens, chunk of burrata (looked and tasted like mozzarella, and a few veggies. Took a while to get the waitress. We were seated at a hightop and the staff concentrated on the main dining area. I asked for a larger bowl. She turned the salad upside down into a bigger bowl. The 5 or 6 strips of bottled roasted peppers, few bottled artichoke and a big 4 roasted cherry tomatoes fell to the bottom. I asked a waiter where the 'grilled marinate veggies were? This is the way the salad is. $14!!! No third chance. So disappointed and left hungry because I couldn't eat all the Spring Mix. read more

Party of 6, ordered a variety of items from the menu. Everything from the meatloaf to the fish and chips and lobster mac and cheese was delicious. The waitress was also fabulous. Given the quality of the food and the level service, the price was reasonable. Will definitely return. read more

This was our first visit and it was Restaurant Week. Hubby and I both ordered from the RW prix fixed menu. Our daughter had the seafood flatbread, loaded with shrimp and crab. We shared two appetizers- pretzels with beer cheese fondue and pork street tacos. Both arrived hot and were very flavorful, however the "pretzels" weren't really pretzels. They were the same rolls they serve in a basket, so that was kind of weird. We both enjoyed our entrees. He had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans topped with a fried egg. I had the short rib rigatoni. Again, both arrived hot and were very tasty. Our server Vas was excellent; very knowledgeable about the food and she took great care of us. Will definitely return! read more

I was meeting up with some girlfriends and we were looking for a place to meet in the middle and yelp led us to Libs and I am so glad it did! We met for brunch on Sunday at 1130, it was pretty crowded but we were seated right away. The service was great, we got coffees and the waiter brought them along with a basket of donut holes. We started off splitting the brussel sprouts and the truffle fries and they were both delicious. I was so torn between all the delicious things on the menu but made a last minute decision to get the chicken bacon omlette and it was massive and the guac and sour cream on top made the dish, I didnt even touch my tater tots but the waiter gladly packed them up for me to take home. My girlfriends enjoyed their meals as well, we were stuffed by the end. If I am ever in the area again I will go back because I want to check out their dinner and oyster selection, did I mention the huge oyster selection to choose from! This place is great, such an awesome find! read more
