I like a neighborhood dive bar, and Nuzback's met the standard wonderfully. I've been here a few times now, always on a Saturday evening after 7ish. The bar has a nice buzz about it but isn't overly crowded. This a bar which seats 10ish guests, plenty of 4top seating, and a pool table in the main area of the bar. There is also outdoor picnic style seating set up outside; it seems like that outdoor seating is sometime available but also sometimes not (maybe depending on the weather or what staff is available). The food is solid; I've had the old bay wings, clam strips, and fries. My girlfriend really loved the clamstrips (and that's saying something because she's had so many from different spots). The wings were good but not the best I've ever had. We got mostly well drinks on our most recent visit; they were all well made and were at a great price point. I heard the wings here were pretty good. I decided to come here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! It gives "family bar vibes". They have great selection for their lunch special with really good prices! I couldn't decide between wings or shrimp so I got both and I was not disappointed! Since it was lunch time it wasn't a lot of people in there which was fine by me lol. The bartenders are friendly as well. This is quite the dive bar. Theres pool and darts, but the main draw was the one hour happy hour. Our table housed a huge amount of wings. Considering the price, the wings are a really great deal. The Carolina sauce is my favorite. read more

Dive, dive, dive. Driven be here numerous times. Was looking for a sport bar and this came up but not a sports bar. No one waited on me I had to ask and the it was like I was no one. Ordered a beer and gave more than the tab but by change was kept as a 'tip' Racket. Asked for water and none provided. Bartender lass than enthusiastic. This is a hole in the wall. It stays opened late has pretty good food, however the wings are inconsistent. Often fried too hard, and the last time I got hard wings I explained to the bartender (an older white lady) that my wings were overcooked, and I could not eat them. Believe it or not she caught an attitude (as if she was offended or as if she had to pay for them herself). Then told me, that's how they're cooked here. I asked for another order, and she stated that if I get another order, they will be cooked the same. I was annoyed knowing that the wings are not always cooked as hard as the ones I received. The margaritas aren't that tasty, but they will get you nice. They also have a jukebox if you don't like what's playing. The bartenders are pretty nice here for the most part. I returned to this establishment about four years after I first came. Everything still look the same. Jukebox had a great mixed selection of songs, new and old. You pay for your songs. There was def slot of locals there. There is a large bar area as well as indoor seating for families etc. Plenty of TV's. We were told they play the Ravens and Washington football games there. Parking is right next door. No draft beer any longer but bottled beer and a full bar selection. Bathrooms were situated wired. No stalls. Literally just two toilets next to each other and a sink. This is your typical dive bar. Great vibes, cheap bar food and drinks. Do not expect much here. I'm giving this place 5 stars because our servers have been great every time my friends and I stop by. Our food comes out quickly even when the place is completely packed. I always get their Old bay honey, BBQ and buffalo wings or their shrimp. These wings always come out piping hot and they are definitely larger than Hooters/ BWW down the street. The shrimps are deveined and large in size as well This bar has been here for years. Right off Route 1. You get an interesting mix of a crowd. They do feature karaoke, pool, darts and TVs to catch your favorite games. First let me say when I arrived to this place I was like "Where in the Son's of Anarchy am I?!" But I quickly learned not to judge a dive bar by how it looks lol I came here with a couple of friends for their happy hour. I ordered the honey old bay wings, sweet potato fries, and a couple of margaritas. The drinks were ok, not great, but not bad, just your typical rail drinks. Now on to the sweet potato fries, they were crispy, hot, and taste fresh. I never had sweet potato waffle fries but my tats buds and belly were happy. Ok now to the main course, the wings! O-M-Friggin-G were they delicious! They were cooked to perfection, not too hard and not too mushy. They had both crunch and moisture, and the amount of honey old bay seasoning was just right. I ate every last one of wings, along with a couple from the other plates on the table, and did a little dance while doing so. Without the wings this place is a 2.5, with the wings and cheap prices it's a 3.5. If you're looking for a cheap happy hour with great wings and scent drinks this may be your place. read more

Was meeting up with a friend for a late night drink on a Saturday night and he suggested this place. I literally thought he was making this place up. I'm always in Laurel and never even heard of this place or noticed it. He kept saying it was across the street from the TGIF's and I thought he was crazy. Lo and behold, this place really exists and at 11 p.m. on a Saturday night, it was packed and lively, but not overly packed where you can't get seating or good service. I love a good "hole in the wall" spot and this is certainly that. We sat outside but had to go inside first to get to the outdoor area. There were people dancing inside and having a great time. The outside crowd was having a good time as well. I'm still in shock I never knew about this place. Not sure if they offer happy hour, but the prices are reasonable enough where you can come anytime! read more

11p on a Thursday. 90s top 50s music (I'm a fan) with about a dozen people. Location is clean, including the men's bathroom, with two bartenders. I ordered a drink, started a tab and never needed to wait for the next beer. Beers tasted good and not stale. Then I ordered food. I saw a burger and wanted one. 8 plus tax and the food was delivered in a little over 5 minutes. The food was GOOD. The burger was topped with every topping I requested. The burger tasted amazing. The burger came with a side of fries and a pickle slice. I hate pickles and did not try it. The fries were also really good, with seasoning that just hit the spot (didn't need ketchup). The portions for the price was very good. There is motorcycle parking. I came here after work to relax and mission accomplished. Give it a shot if you're in the area. read more

It gets knocked down one star because I rode in on my Harley this past weekend and was asked to leave because I was wearing a beater and they don't allow beaters. From the parking lot, I was expecting Nuzback's to be a sketchy dive filled with PG redneck holdouts who would stare us down when we walked in the door. Instead, we were greeted warmly by two super friendly bartenders and the clientele was both civilized and diverse. Good vibes all around. We had a fantastic time. Used to come here occasionally around 7 yrs ago or so. they used to have fairly decent food then. Went again last night. Ordered a Grilled Chicken on Kaiser bun. I kid you not the sandwich was absolutely disgusting. Two chicken breasts that seem to have been boiled. told em and she was kind enough to get me some "chicken tenders" instead. it was the same shit just deep fried. Even my friend was blown away at how nasty it looked. Straight up unseasoned boiled chicken breasts you may make for a sick dog. not even. couldn't eat the stuff even though I was extremely hungry. They still made me pay for that. fries were ok. If you want to stop by for a drink or two late late night go here if you're hungry, McDonalds is a better bet imho. read more

The men's bathroom is atrocious!! Although they do have soap and water. The outdoor seating area is pretty nice and they occasionally bring out Cornhole if that's your thing. SERVICE: I've always had great service here. We normally get the same waitress for HH and she's pretty damn awesome! She even remembers what drinks we normally order so that makes it even better. Although we've had other waitresses that have been equally as awesome. FOOD/DRINKS: I love the steamed shrimp and wings (50cents per shrimp or wing - - 12count minimum)! That's what I always order for HH and I haven't been disappointed yet. Sadly, I do miss the scallops that were on special...but I digress. The drinks are extraordinarily cheap and they get the job done! We utilize this place on Friday as a "Friends Coming Together" hangout after work. Very unique groups of people for all ages, races and cultures. We started visiting during the spring/summer timeframe. Super friendly. Like I said very cheap drinks and bar food. We have a blast playing darts or corn hole outside. Although the smokers can takeover. We always have a group of 6-10 people and it never overwhelms the waitress doing separate checks. Drinks are cheap, diverse, the DJ is a calm powerhouse in and it's a good spot to go when you wanna relax, loosen up and not get dressed to go out in DC or Baltimore. Depending on your temperament, this may or may not be the place for you: This place has an eclectic group of people and there is ALWAYS something going on... like an occasional drunk woman falling on your table (then dancing sprawled out on the floor) or verbal altercations between regulars. I like to see people from all walks of life in the same hole-in-the-wall and see how we all somehow manage to fit in. I sang karaoke there for the first time in my LIFE and some drunk guy said to me "You are so beautiful, but you're sooooo bad" Lol! I always leave with a good laugh that's for sure. My only complaint is that my food is almost always wrong and sometimes regulars drop off the food, not the bartenders.... Weird and I'd usually complain, but you gotta take the place for what it is. They aren't trying to sell you a false positive dining experience and I can respect that. Not the place I would expect to have a REALLY good turkey sandwich but they did it! Yelp moved my honest review of events that actually took place in July of 2019 to their "not recommended" reviews (but you can look it up there). If you patronize this establishment, expect very rude or complicit staff. Food offerings are poor. Calling anything that comes out of their kitchen mediocre would be an embellishment. Also, this property is for sale for $4 million which explains an awful lot. No one is trying to grow this business as much as they are holding on to a soon to be vacant lot. This little neighborhood bar is a pretty cool place to come if you want something low key and chill. The drinks are inexpensive and the staff is nice and attentive.
