Had a wonderful birthday dinner for a family member at Facci. You are started off with warm bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar. For appetizers, we had the crispy calamari and the aioli sauce paired very well and brought on more flavor. Both the aruguletta and red and yellow salads were fresh, simple and allowed the natural ingredients to shine. The ravioli dish was recommended by our server Ella and it was delicious! The Fruiti Di Mare was packed with sea food and the sauce was phenomenal. Dessert did not disappoint and all the desserts were great. Our server Ella was fantastic. We went on a Wednesday night where there was a live performance. The restaurant was big but felt cozy, there was was music playing but still able to have conversations and the restaurant is great for large parties

Facci has definitely changed from it's original iteration after a renovation. Prior it was a light and fun place to have dinner and drinks. Now it's dark and blah. We hadn't visited since the pandemic and decided to try it again. What a disappointment. The service was slow and spotty. After being seated it took sometime for a server to come. After we weren't ready to order a drink it was a long time before anyone came back. We finally were able to order some wine and appetizer and place our order. One they came out we noticed our server tell a table near us they food would be out soon. This group had been there well before our seating. Their food came out right before ours. We both had pasta that was just ok. Mine was bland and could have used some seasoning. We asked and once it came we had pretty much eaten. The food was overpriced and not worth a return for us.

Worst Margherita pizza I've ever had

While searching for the best pizza in Laurel I found the worst pizza I've ever had. Nothing authentic or wood grilled about it. Extremely watery. Frozen pizza from your local grocery store is better. If I could give this place a 0 I would. Trash

The food was amazing and quick to get to our table. It wasn't full for a Tuesday night. It's a very cozy, date night type place. My family and I came by because we needed dinner after a long day. We were very surprised to see the options and to see the inside of this restaurant. It is beautiful. The lights are turned low and there is jazz playing. It was just a tad too dark for me but I get the vibe they are going for. The server was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back... I wanted to try the wine but decided I will do it next time. They have a full bar with seating. It's a great place to sit and enjoy your dinner and company. And... the bread that was served when we were seated was chef's kiss!!! Sooooooooo good!!!

I've been here many times over the last 15 years, and although the service has been a problem, the food used to be good enough to go back. Lately, the food has gone downhill, and the service is terrible. The food has become very inconsistent, with the same dish being served differently from the menu (for example, randomly adding goat cheese on top their margherita pizza, or leaving out the hazelnuts and walnuts from their roasted beet salad). The bread and pizza crust are a different texture depending on the day, with the bread sometimes being hard throughout instead of soft in the middle and the pizza is often over-cooked to a dry crisp now (even in the center) with too much thick cheese instead of the Italian/Neopolitan style that they used to do well. The atmosphere has also taken a downward turn, and the last year, we witnessed children literally running around the dining area on top of the seating booths (shoes right on the seats). The servers are either slow and absent-minded or overly pushy and up-selling everything. Recently, we had a reservation for three people at 7:30 pm, and by 8 pm there was still no table available. The manager's excuse was that people had paid but wouldn't leave. I would think if people are finished with their meal, and have paid, and people with reservations are waiting -- it's possible to ask the previous table to leave. For many reasons, this place is not worth going back to ever again, especially with their high prices.

This restaurant is a hidden gem and I'm so glad that I found this treasure. True, authentic Italian cuisine. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. To start off, they bring you fresh, hot bread with olive oil, balsamic and fresh garlic. I went during Happy Hour and my drinks were half off. They had some great items on their special menu. The calamari was fried to perfection and the cream of crab soup... Amazing. Creamy, thick, but not too thick and lump crab meat. I love that they offer you fresh parmesan cheese and grounded black pepper to top off their already delicious entrees. My main waiter was Ray and his service was top tier. I loved how all the waiters would check in on you regardless if it was their table or not. Mike also provided warmth and attention. Even the Manager stopped by to check up on us and to ensure all of our requests were met. Superb service. The pastas were amazing. Juicy lump crab meat, decadent scallops and cooked to perfection shrimp. Large portions that you had to request a to go box. My espresso martini was made with fresh espresso. Limoncello with the right amount of texture and strength. Of course I had to get a cappuccino and paired it with the mini trio cannolis. They served as the perfect biscotti substitute. Lol! Great music selections. The artwork and decor made the best ambiance. Dimmed lightning with candlelight dinning. Magnificent! I will definitely be back to try more off of the impressive menu. Enjoy!

It's wedding weekend! My brother's 1st child/daughter, my 1st niece, the 1st grandchild ... such an exciting time! I thought the venue for the rehearsal was amazing (see my review for Pinstripes, 11920 Grand Park Ave, North Bethesda, MD) but the rehearsal dinner (Fri., 10/10) actually topped that! Facci's Ristorante (in Laurel) is a definite "blink and you'll miss it" establishment but clearly a hidden neighborhood gem/local fav! Store-front restaurants rarely impress me but Facci's (in Laurel) absolutely did! As soon as you walk in (and, BTW, someone was there to hold the door for us) the decor, lighting, smells, service ... warm, cozy, classy, intimate - genuine perfection. No cheesy Tuscan-themed artifacts either! It's billed as a wine bar which is immediately evident ... the entire back wall is a gorgeous display (cooler?) of wines on top of wines. Again, not a flashy establishment but every dish came out plated flawlessly. #UpscaleItalianCuisine As mentioned, this was a rehearsal dinner so all appetizers were pre-selected and then we had a choice of four different entrées (pic of menu attached for deets ... angel hair Sophia Loren, pappardelle bolognese, shrimp fradiavola and chicken fettuccine alfredo). We had about 40 people present (4 tables) and every table was served heaping platters of Romana salad (think Caesar), Shrimp Gondola (parmigiana/reggiano cream sauce with toasted Italian bread), Polpette Casserole (savory beef meatballs), a whole Margherita pizza and warm ciabatta bread with that savory dipping oil we all love and appreciate in any Italian restaurant! I have one MINOR complaint ... I prefer my noodles a bit more al dente than what I received (my Mom and son's noodles were also a bit over cooked) but NOT a deal breaker ... the kitchen worked magic handling our party of near 40 and the stuffed-to-capacity other diners! However, I was sooo flipping full from all the appetizers, who needed an entrée anyway?!?! LOL I'm not a wine drinker anymore butttt those who were totally enjoyed the numerous bottles of red and white that flowed all evening. My hubby didn't join me this evening but I am definitely returning for a date nite with him in the near future. Hope YOU try it too. When you do, tell them you saw it on Yelp!

I absolutely love the vibe at Facci! It's great for a solo HH, group dinner, or date. They have a nice outdoor patio area and beautiful bar space. We stopped in for HH on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't super crowded which was great. We sat at the bar since that's the only place you can get the HH specials. I grabbed a couple of glasses of wine and then went with a pizza and a pasta dish. We ordered the Diavola. It was just okay. Could have been cooked a bit longer to give it a bit more crisp. I also realize that having all those toppings makes it hard to stay crispy. I may just try a cheese pie next time. The pasta was a hit! Absolutely loved the parpadelle bolognese. Would order this one again. Really cool spot with various events throughout the week. I'll be back for sure!

Excellent food as always. We don't eat out often, but come to this Facci a couple times a year and it's worth it. The mixed drinks are also good, not watered down at all.

I really enjoy coming here during the warmer months because their outside dining area is really nice. I typically order their gluten free pasta, and it's the best I've had at any restaurant. They are great about handling food allergies. The bar here is great. The staff are attentive and friendly. Highly recommend their Bada Bing martini! It's a heavenly chocolate espresso martini. Best for dessert!

We always wanted to check out Facci! Visited on a weeknight. Idk why expected an Olive Garden but boyyy was I wrong! Facci is actually a semi upscale Italian spot and you definitely don't want to be in joggers and slippers :) thank goodness we were in our fine Jeans and sweaters. Overall vibe is nice. A slightly older style, but fancy and clean. They only do Happy Hour at the bar which was slightly disappointing. We ordered two pasta (seafood fettuccine pasta and pappardelle) and both were ok. Portions were generous! But the sauce could have been better. My Pappardelle had a very meaty smell, I wish they had used a better quality meat. Their calamari was, however, delicious!! And the sangria yummy with huge portions. The place is not cheap! A dish is around $30-40 pp. Service is fine -- fast, but nothing outstanding. I really wish they had a family restroom with a changing table, because we had to change our LO in a car because of this :') I hd initially thought maybe Facci is too fancy to be family friendly and it's my fault for bringing my LO... but I saw at least 3 other kids while dining there for 2 hours, so I would hope this is something they consider creating a space for! Tl;dr -- the vibe is nice, food is OK with generous portion, love the drinks, could be more family friendly, please have HH offered at the table too. I would certainly come back for drinks and small appetizers!

We stopped at Facci for a quick anniversary lunch date on a Friday afternoon and it was almost empty. We did make a reservation the day before though, so we're seated immediately upon arrival. There used to be a lot of food and drink options, but we went for some classic dishes for an Italian restaurant. The shrimp gondola appetizer was super tasty especially when paired with the complementary bread. One person can easily eat it but also shareable. We also tried some pizza and as well as the lasagna which were both really nice. The lasagna sauce was very generous and it was a pretty good portion. The service was great. Our waiter stopped by several times and was super helpful when asked for recommendations/any needed accommodations. Since it's a little apart from other similar restaurants I would recommend a reservation if you're wanting to stop by for some yummy Italian.

This winery deserves all the awards and promotion that I've seen all socials .... However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.

I think it's the only winery in Laurel so I definitely wanted to come and support. I first went to check it out and see what information I could get to reserve for a large party. It's kind of located in the cut of main st but there's plenty of street parking. Walk in and you'll see there are two settings. It's very welcoming and warm with beautiful decor and many seating on both sides. I explained to the gentleman what I wanted and he said it shouldn't be no problem just reach out to the events manager. It was a bit last minute, I sent an email on 9/22 to come on 9/28 at 5:30pm (had to confirm the number of people). Just to clarify, we spoke on the phone and email for communication of all information. I noticed they had an event that same day but it started earlier in the day and the events manager told me it should end before my guests arrive. I told her I was having 20 people total and I was ordering two charcuterie boards. Everything was confirmed and good to go as I thought. My guests were letting me know they were arriving but were seated in the smaller area. I was hoping by the time I got there it would be handled but no they already started ordering in the smaller area and the staff there said they were told only 10 people were suppose to come but I showed them the emails. The event they had ran longer than it should have which I wish I would have known just to let my guests know. The staff then tried to fix it but literally a whole hour and half later. Once we got in the event room, we had our charcuterie boards and others order their suya and jollof rice. They did not finish their food, it actually looked dry. Before the day, I was told my guests were not able to do flights but the day of they were able to order. I wanted to order some for the party but it's okay, we all figured out which wine we liked best and a couple bought bottles. To end it, the staff brought out a cute cupcake for my friends to wish me happy birthday. They have a speaker for you to connect if you want to play your own music. Other than that, we had fun. Regardless, I'm going to have fun. I recommend to go and have your own experience. I will definitely come back for a last minute date or just to pick up one of the wine bottles I liked.

Everything I ordered had great flavor and didn't need to add anything extra. The pepperoni pizza was topped with what appeared to be basil and diced tomatoes that were a little sweet and for me, that was surprisingly perfect as I don't normally like tomatoes. The crust was also cooked perfectly. It looked like they used tortillas, but I'm sure they used something similar because it didn't appear to be typical pizza dough (to me). The salmon had a delicious flavor. I squeezed a bit of the lemon onto it to enhance the flavor and it was a solid choice. It came with little whole gold potatoes and green beans. The dill-mustard sauce that it came with tasted like Dijon mustard to me, but I didn't need it, so I ate the salmon as is. Even though I was kind of full, I decided to try one of their mini desserts. The biggest issue across the board was the food--everything tasted bland. There was a noticeable lack of seasoning, and most dishes ended up tasting the same. I started with a Caesar salad, which was unusual with added tomatoes and other vegetables you don't typically see. While it was fine, it lacked flavor. For the main course, all four of us ordered pasta, and again, the same issue--very little taste. No one offered fresh Parmesan, which is something you'd normally expect with a pasta dish. Halfway through my meal, trying to improve the flavor, I asked for some Parmesan. I was genuinely surprised when the server told me it would cost an extra $1. It wasn't about the dollar--it was the principle. Charging extra for something as basic as Parmesan with pasta felt unreasonable. When we raised the concern, the manager confirmed this policy came directly from the owner. My advice: just include it in the price of the dish. Policies like that leave a bad impression and cost you repeat customers. Between the bland food and that moment, the experience turned from disappointing to frustrating. Sadly, this isn't a place we'll be returning to--and it's one we'll be warning others about.

The house is also subdivided into smaller rooms, so there is no more than about 6 tables per section. It made it intimate and well curated. We went with friends and came prepared to eat. We ordered plenty of appetizers, our meals, and 2 desserts. My favorites were the burrata and arancini. My salad was basic, but trying a bite of my husband's steak was fantastic. Pretty much everything was a baseline of good enough to order again, but now that I've gone once the things I need again are pretty much all the appetizers and a steak. As for the desserts, they were just ok. I don't think I've ever had a dry olive oil cake, but this one was. The gelato on top made up for it because it was like an added sauce. Finally, our server was ok. He was great with our orders and refilling our drinks. However, he was a little sneaky with asking us the type of water we wanted and if we wanted the focaccia for the table that you had to pay for. He also just rushed my husband through the bill so he could not see if it was accurate and he had added an appetizer that we never got. He was still nice and good waiter. Just minor things in an overall great experience.
