The service staff were so warm and welcoming, even late on a Wednesday night. It was a nice night so we chose to sit outside and they even had a patio heater to keep it warm enough for us. For food we tried the halibut dish and the jerk chicken. The halibut was a standout. Possibly best halibut I've ever had. Amazing curry sauce and fresh vegetables. The jerk chicken was also good and I loved the collards that it came with and the pilaf. But that halibut was just so good. Great selection of drinks and we decided against apps or dessert this time but would love to come back for their happy hour menu.

We also had dessert - bread pudding was delicious.

It's nice to get such good care and attention when you go out for a casual dinner. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean, i'd go as far as to say that it's one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants i've ever been to. Huge plus for that in my book. The service is lightning fast, both times we've been here, we've given our order and been served within less than a 10-minute timeframe. Granted, it's usually just two of us, but still, that's pretty fast, even when they looked super busy. Half of the building is bar seating, and half is the restaurant. Pretty sure the bar area is seat yourself while the restaurant is the standard hostess seating. The bar tends to be busy most of the time. As for the food, their menu is carefully curated, they might not serve a huge variety, but we've found the options they do have are made with a high caliber of care. On our last visit, Yu Mei helped us decide on the Mandarin beef, as the original Broccoli and Beef dishes' sauce overlapped with the Beef Lo Mein dish, which would have been a repeat flavor. It was such a good call and made the difference because so far the Mandarin Beef and the Cashew Shrimp dishes are exceptionally good here. The Lo Mein was a little basic-tasting and didn't have as much flavor, but it could be great for those who don't like bold-tasting foods. The Pan Fried Crispy Noodles were perfect! We have enjoyed most of the food we've ordered here, a lot of it is just what you'd expect, standard Chinese food dishes mixed with some exceptional choices, and you can tell they take their time to make everything carefully. Highly recommend a visit here if you get the chance. They're good for groups, special occasions, takeout, watching a game in the bar area, or couples and dates. It's a casual vibe all around.

They have an extensive menu with such tasty rolls that are quite large. One of my favorites is the Seattle roll and their nigiri dinner is also a great price for the quality as well! Another favorite is the Kimono roll which I get almost every time I go. Their rolls are super sharable and I would say that 2-3 rolls is a great amount for 2 people. The restaurant has a more casual vibe but it is a great stop for a date night or a casual dinner out! I have never had to wait for a table here so reservations may not be necessary unless you have a party larger than 4. The service here is just okay and not amazing. Because the environment is a bit more casual, the service reflects that a bit. Every time that I make a stop here, I do find myself calling and waiting for service rather than not. But overall, a very good sushi place and I would recommend to those who are close to the area!

They have a good amount of heat to them, the flavor is well balanced, the vegetables and proteins are plentiful and fresh tasting, and the portion size is good. The reason I don't give them five stars: rice is not included with the curry meals and the restaurant itself smells a little. We've always ordered for takeout so less concerned about the smell but just be aware if you are dining in.

First impression of these prices are, they are higher than the typical Thai restaurant, so I have to assess it in the lens of that, not a typical fast casual restaurant. The good thing though is that if you have InKind credits, Resy credits, Doordash credits etc, this place takes them all, so if you are finding yourself in a position where you must use the credits somewhere, this is a fairly convenient candidate. We got the curry trio with roti, roasted duck curry, swimming rama with pork, and pineapple fried rice with beef, all 2/5 spicy which is fairly mild-medium for my taste buds. We also got some cocktails like the Bass'd and My Thai, the former which is Thai tea with Hennessy and the latter is a mai tai variant. The curry trio with roti is good, though the curry is a little watery. They give a really good amount of curry that we ended up just sipping it like soup later on. The roasted duck curry is really good, a bit on the pricier side but it had a duck leg and a few chunks of duck meat, so you are getting some value (rice is not included, add $3). The swimming rama is good - peanut and garlic dominate the flavors, and the pork is tender and the spinach is decent. The pineapple fried rice with beef is decent - I wished it was a bit more elaborate in presentation like having a half pineapple (that is what I typically envision for this dish), but it is still delicious. There is generous amounts of beef, pineapple, sausage, etc with not much rice, so I prefer that for the value. The cocktails are good and decently strong. $15 is okayish, but the 20% off during happy hour pushes the needle to order a drink alongside the food. The cocktails are fairly basic and easy to make, but we still ordered them for the full experience. Service is good as the food was ready in a timely manner and they had water refills. It took them a little bit of time to get the check, but otherwise it was a fairly efficient experience.

We hadn't patronized it yet, so, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance shouts contemporary and includes lounge type seating, a large fireplace, and an outdoor patio that I imagine will be in demand as the weather gets warmer. Validated parking for the building garage is offered for arrivals after 3 pm. We began the evening with a glass of Las Mencias Malbec and an old fashioned. Next up, we tried the Belgian Frites which are hand-cut Belgian-style frites with truffle oil and black garlic aioli. The fries arrived hot and delicious! Our entrees consisted of a Caesar salad (Romaine, parmesan, house croutons in creamy Caesar dressing) with shrimp, and Cioppino which included fish from the PNW in tomato-leek broth with lemon, herbs, grilled bread, and shrimp/prawns. While the Caesar was great, the cioppino left us wanting more. The broth just didn't hit like it was created in the kitchen. It resembled the type of sauce you'd get from the grocery store. Additionally the dish could have used more herbs, tomatoes, and seafood. Some clams and/or mussels would have been right on point. I must say though that the shrimp/prawns were grilled to perfection. The Fonté Bar has a very limited dessert menu with only two items available this evening, however, both were very delicious! The Affogato which included vanilla ice cream topped with F2 espresso and a house cookie, and the Affogato Martini with Fonté espresso poured over velvety ice cream were yummy!!! The service was welcoming and attentive and we were seated almost immediately on arrival.

If you're looking for a casual spot to grab some Mexican food and drinks near Downtown Seattle,…read morethis cozy little bar is worth checking out -- just don't forget your walking shoes! It's nestled uphill from downtown, so getting there is a bit of a trek if you're on foot, and parking is the usual Seattle situation: street parking roulette. That said, once you're inside, it's got a warm, laid-back atmosphere that makes the effort feel worth it. The space itself is inviting -- small but not cramped, with a relaxed bar vibe that would be great for casual drinks or a low-key dinner. Service was excellent during our visit. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our food came out impressively fast, especially considering how busy it was when we arrived. We ordered a mix of items to try a bit of everything: street tacos, burritos, and chicken wings. The food hit the spot -- flavorful, well-cooked, and satisfying. Nothing fancy or over-the-top, just solid, comforting Mexican food. If you're someone who prefers huge portions, though, keep in mind this spot leans more toward moderate serving sizes. We left satisfied, but if you're coming in really hungry, you might want to double up on an order or add some sides. Now, a couple of small things that stood out. Coming from the East Coast food (and having spent time in California too), I've come to expect a few staples at Mexican restaurants: complimentary chips and salsa to start, and maybe a side of salsa verde with tacos. That didn't happen here -- no chips, no salsa, and the tacos were pretty straightforward. It wasn't a dealbreaker by any means, but something to note. I probably could have asked for salsa on the side, so maybe that one's on me. Also, I was a little surprised there weren't any Taco Tuesday specials. It's become such a norm that I almost expect some kind of deal or promo, especially at a bar setting like this. Again, not a big issue -- just something to be aware of if you're hoping to save a few bucks on a Tuesday night. Final thoughts: This is a great little neighborhood spot with good food, fast service, and a chill vibe. It doesn't try to be flashy or reinvent Mexican cuisine -- and honestly, that's part of its charm. Just don't expect massive portions or all the extras you might get at places in California or the East Coast. If you're already exploring the area and want a dependable bite and maybe a drink or two, this is a solid stop. Would I come back? Definitely -- but next time, I might Uber to avoid the hill.
