I took my daughter to lunch and I had eggs benedict skillet, which was excellent . Service was a bonus. Our waitress, I wish I could remember her name, was attentive to us and friendly. Prices were reasonable. $27 is about what you'd pay anywhere. read more

I have been going here since I was 7 years old and the food is amazing I always get the French toast side of sausage link and brown gravy ik that sounds weird but I love it anyway and I love the service great hospitality so nice. And the look of the place may look old to some people but for me it remind me of the good old days before Covid before all this I will always come back without a shadow of the doubt. This place is just BAD. No idea how they do the biz they do. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered a gyro sandwich and corned beef hash omelette. I couldn't believe what they put in the pita as "meat." It was rock hard and seemingly freezer burnt. No idea how whoever was in the kitchen could allow it to be served. It was actually brittle. I actually cracked it against the plate. I sent it back and ordered a cheeseburger which should be safe, considering this is a family diner. Nope. It was a pre-formed frozen patty with no flavor and very red in the middle. Took a few bites and left that on my plate. The onion rings were lukewarm. Husband's hashbrowns with the corn beef hash omelette were extremely undercooked and one piece of toast was buttered and one was not. Last time we left this place, at least five years ago, we said we would never come back. We recently heard it was under new owners, and thought we would give it another chance. Momma G is the best server :) I always get the grilled chicken salad and it's pretty great. Ambiance is good lightening and calm.

Friendly coney service, efficient, food here is okay, the lower your expectations the better it might be. Liver and onions was dry and chewy, needed an au jus or thin beef gravy to be palatable. Onions were kinda gross, overcooked, blanched with paprika. I will be back but maybe just a sandwich. read more

We had a large group of co-workers from Coffee Beanery meet at Liberty for a goodbye lunch. We called ahead to warn then and see if they could arrange tables for us. At noon we arrived, tables were set up and ice water was out for everyone. The service was EXCELLENT. The waitress took our orders promptly, the food was brought out super fast. This is as diner-y as a diner gets. Pretty large space with lots of booths and an average menu. They were advertising fried PB&Js on their outdoor signboard for quite some time, though I didn't venture down that road. My last visit was a breakfast-for-lunch order: the mushroom-swiss omelette with a side of potatoes. Taste and quality were good and I'd eat here again out of convenience, though it's definitely not my first choice considering all the dining options in the area. read more

Great food, friendly staff, and nice people. It seems like mostly a senior hangout, but that's fine. At least you won't have to worry about anybody cussing around your kids like the younger crowds do at some of the local bar & grills. People are respectful of others here. read more

we've been here a few times before and it was okay, but today we ordered an appetizer combo that comes with 4 appetizers, only received 3 but were made to pay for all 4. she put the $2.99 side item in the *appetizer* combo and told us we would have to pay $8.99 for the actual app item we were supposed to get in it, rather than paying for the $2.99 side outside of the combo. she said it was what her computer did and she can't fix it, even though we order the way the menu states. this was after our food got cold waiting 10 minutes (and i'm really not exaggerating) for the gravy we asked for with our chicken and fries, that she already put at the table. she apologized once, but still acted like we were an inconvenience. the other waitresses all seemed nice though, and the food is maybe 8/10 read more

Charming little diner. Used to be called Gabby's although it's still known as "the airport restaurant" in my family. As someone with pilots for second cousins, it's nice to bring them there and hear about when they used to fly and use that airport. Both have degenerative eye problems and no longer fly. The service was great. They're very friendly and very quick to bring out your order. read more

I am not a big fan of this restaurant. I personally do not think the food is very good for a diner at all.

I've been there twice. First time ordered lunch (can't remember what it was) and the second time I had their pancakes and my boyfriend had the club with fries and mozzarella sticks. Both times the waitress was super nice and came back to check on us just enough. Food was always done well (their pancakes are fantastic!) and their ticket time is pretty quick. Overall, great food and service for a low cost so it gets a thumbs up from me! read more

We eat here regularly for breakfast, but last Sunday (Mother'sDay) after we were seated and waiting for our food, the waitresses allowed diners to sit behind, across, and next to our booth. Those booths had been blocked off when we sat down. When I asked about the social distancing rule for tables (6 feet per the MI Covid site), she said, well we do it normally but today with Mother's Day, we are really busy so we are just letting people sit where they want. I wonder if Covid takes a break from spreading because it is Mother's Day. Also no masks on the cooks in the kitchen. I have a choice where so spend my money and how I protect my health, so goodbye to Liberty. I fully believe everyone that can should get vaccinated and I am, so that we can fully open our state up again and support our local businesses. However, I will not support businesses that do not support me by following the rules, so next week I will go elsewhere for my Sunday breakfast. In the big scheme of things, it may not significantly affect Liberty, but if others feel the same snd stay away, maybe it will. read more

Just finished breakfast at Liberty, the only place that gets a veggie omelet right!! I have had the good fortune to travel and eat breakfast at other restaurants but none have been able to match this omelet at Liberty. I also enjoy other breakfast selections there--the food is good, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive and keep my coffee cup full, the prices are reasonable. Had lunch there today with a group of friends. Food was delicious. They have the best rice pudding I have ever had. We have been there several times and have had the best service with the friendliest and most pleasant wait staff. Today Jessie served us. Recently dined here. Felt very casual seat yourself environment. The waitresses were polite but loud yelling about who had so and so across the restautant. I ordered the chicken dinner, and am almost positive that the chicken was from a box. When pulled apart, there was more breading than meat, and the vegetable of the day was canned/frozen peas. Not very impressed with the presentation of the food. They use to many dishes for orders that could be assembled on one plate, and they take up a lot of room on the table. Overall the wait staff was great and very helpful but the food left a lot to be desired! read more
