What a great surprise to find an absolute fantastic sports bar. Tons of TV's fill the walls of the bar, immersing you in a many viewing options. The biggest and best surprise I've had coming here though has to be the food. I've had the pizza and then most recently their version of the Monte Cristo. Of course, the gold standard for me for this sandwich is the Bennigan's version. Is it really the best? Probably not, but it's what I remember loving growing up and what I hold all future Monte Cristos against. This one was very good. On one hand I really enjoyed that it was crispier than I've had before, but I think it did change the flavor a little especially dipping it into the raspberry jam. The only real knock I have on the place is their craft beer selection. Kind of plain Jane. Wouldn't mind having a couple more exotic choices to the list. But that's just a minor issue and really doesn't take away from the overall great experience. Great staff, great service, great food and a great time.

I ordered the Carriage Burger ($14) which was 1/2 lb burger with Bacon, cheese, mushrooms lettuce and tomato on a toasted bun served with a large plate of fries. The burger was delicious, and the fries were EXCEPTIONAL. Not many places can give you a fry that is perfectly crsip on the outside and tender on the inside and this cook did excellant. The burger comes with a choice of salad or soup and they asked if they wanted my chili to be the substitute, which was great. My wife ordered the HAM dinner ($11) with a Baked Potato, The beefy slice of ham came with 2 rings of grilled pineapple and my wife cleared her plate, Though the baked potato was great she said, she did sample some of my fries and wished she would have ordered them herself. For desert my wife had the homemade Coconut Cream Pie ($5) , which was definately one of the better ones she has had in a while. With drinks total was just under $36 for the two of us. Which in todays market isn't bad at all. Over all an outstanding find. Will ave to go again when were in the Flint Area to try some of the other menu options.

They were cold in spots but cooked exactly to order, so maybe they were done before the rest of the order....? The French Toast was on point and hitting hard. Servers came by on the regular to deliver fresh coffee while I made notes on house hunting. Payment was quick and easy. Andes after-dinner mints are available for 25 cents each at the time of writing. I will definitely be back - might not be a "regular" depending on where I end up living - but this place definitely requires meow further investigation.
