We met up with some friends for lunch and I was excited to give this place a try. It's adorable from the outside as it's a small 1950s style diner. We had a group of 7 people. Being called a burger diner, I was expecting amazing burgers! I truly can't explain how strange the bun was. It claims to be a pretzel bun on the cheeseburger but honestly, I have no idea what it was. It was hard, and in no way resembled the taste one! The building has the old stainless dinner look when you come up to it. The inside has the old dinner feel as well with several bar stools up front where you can watch food being made. They have a great breakfast menu and some breakfast items are served all day but not all. The barnyard burger was great! Beef patty, fried chicken and most other condiments. The service was great. Absolutely fantastic! We needed a quick bite to eat, and this place totally delivered. First of all, the service is outstanding. The servers are attentive and thoughtful. Our server gave me a to do cup for my drink, which was a delightful touch. They focus on the customer experience, and it shows. The food is delightful. Those burger buns are delicious, and the burgers are piled with fresh ingredients. We also tried the fries (nice and crispy!) and cottage cheese and peaches. So good! Every bite was just delicious. Well, they deserved 5 stars and far more reviews than they have. Not only the place is super cool with the old-school dinner look, but the staff is super nice and welcoming, and they have vegan options, too. We stopped there on our way back from north as Google did indicate that they offer vegan items, and we were intrigued by the diner look. The server was super nice and very knowledgeable about their menu and what they make in house. I was super happy to see that on top of beyond burger, they have vegan cheese, vegan mayo, vegan cookies, and milkshake! How not to love this place! Husband had the regular cheeseburger, and I had the vegan one with basic burger fixings. Crispy fries for me, and onion rings for him. Burgers were delicious, the bun as it's made in house was a little more dense than store bought version but still very yummy. They don't skip on toppings, which I love! You could really taste that it was made with attention and good ingredients. Fries were very good, three onion rings superb, and please, please don't skip on the cajun sauce they make for onion rings. So good! The lady told me that I could make other items from the menu also vegan with the beyond meat, like nachos or Philly cheesesteak, so options for vegans are not limited to one menu item. We were so full that we didn't get the vegan milkshake but will do next time. The place was also very clean, including the restrooms. We have eaten here twice, both with larger groups (8 one time and 10 the other). The first time (8) they were otherwise slow and handled the group very well. Yesterday we had 10 and they were busier. The only thing that makes this a 4 review (instead of a 5) was they were a little slower than I expected for a group our size. The food was excellent both times. They have a nice Diner menu with mostly fresh ingredients. Service was very good both visits. Kept up with drink refills and checked in a few times while we were eating. My only "complaint" was on the second visit the food came out 6 meals to start and then 3 or 4 minutes later the other 4 meals came out. read more

Right off the bat, as soon as we walk in the door the customer service was absolutely fantastic. They greeted us with a smile and Roxie was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was really good, pretzel bun was grilled, you could taste the garlic butter which complimented the toppings and burger itself. The fries were very crispy fresh and hot. There is so much to be said about this nearly hidden gem! It's right off the highway so it's an easy hop on and off for I-75. It can be a little tricky to find because it's in the parking lot with the Harley-Davidson dealer but the building is shiny silver so that helps! The interior decor is super cute and reminds me of an old school diner! There's lots of wall art to make it feel cozy. Plenty of seating indoors and outside also. Bathrooms are clean and I was thoroughly impressed with the baby changing station (see pics). They had free Wi-Fi too for those days when you want to grab an appetizer and hammer out some emails. They offer a full menu, including breakfast (see menu in pics) with lots of baked goods. The pretzel bun that the hamburgers come on and the baked goods are made on the lower level /badement. Yes, they have a bakery in the basement ...on site! I was not aware of this fact before I came in to eat. That is a super cool idea though and I love that the food comes from the lower level to the upstairs and right to the table. I was informed that the hamburger comes locally from Abbott farms and you could definitely tell the beef was beefy if that makes sense. It was loaded with flavor! Rich. Real. Juicy but not greasy. The fries were soft inside and the skin salty and had a snap. The mozz sticks were typical store bought but the marinara took em up a notch. I got some blueberry lemon cheesecakes take home and a loaf of sourdough bread which they slice for you. $8 for a loaf of bread seems expensive but tasting it, I was sold. The waitress walked around offering samples of their baked goods (see the pics) and checking on customers. This place really shines in the customer service department. Everyone was super friendly highly visible and eager to assist. This was me and my son's first time going here but I'll definitely be back! This time for the chicken. Love this place! Very surprised it's not more popular than it is. My partner and I went for the first time around 2:00 in the afternoon and our server (Rockie) was super kind and knowledgeable of the menu! I think what made them special is that they weren't super messy - the buns added a nice flavor, cool flair, and kept the burgers from being soggy and falling apart. The prices seemed great and the burger in the picture looked good. It was juicy and did not taste bad. The portion size was ample and the fries were crispy. They took a really long time and seemed very disorganized and could not handle a long line of people. They also did not ask how I wanted my burger. It came out so rare the inside was like pink play dough. I was afraid I was going to get sick. I was not able to go back and have them fix it, but it would have taken too long or they would not been able to fix it anyway. I like that the burger was thick, but perhaps it was too thick for the cooking method and most people do not want an extremely rare burger, so raw in the middle, when it comes to fast food. Great lunch or dinner spot! We've dined here many times over the past year. They have great burgers. I especially love the pretzel bun. My wife likes their veggie burgers, so that's often her go to order. The burgers are almost made to order, fresh and delicious, and they even have vegan cheese as a cheese option. It's actually pretty decent. The burgers are some of the best I've had in the area and as far as veggie burgers go, rehires is very good- it's a plant based patty with all the fixings, and it tastes good with regular or vegan cheese options. The fries and coleslaw are also pretty tasty. I've had the taco salad before too and it's pretty decent even though this is a traditional burger diner. Portion sizes are generous and pricing is on point. The service is usually good, the location is convenient and the ambiance is super fun and whimsical, in a retro style diner. Oh and they even sell delicious vegan cookies which my wife adores. They're soft and chewy. You wouldn't know they're vegan if they didn't advertise it, lol!
