Irish combo platter BUYER BEWARE wasn't worth half the price they charged. It had one teaspoon of greasy tomato, drippings on top of " dry mashed potato and top of the stuffed pepper. Inside of stuffed pepper was dry and no flavor . No taste to the frozen pierogies-NO BUN BISCUIT - SLICE OF BREAD WITH THE MEAL. I asked for another lemon slice and WAITRESS HOLLERED ACROSS THE ROOM we allow one lemon slice per customer then they charge $.25 per one slice! ! Service was awesome !! ordered roasted chicken dinner w/baked potato & baby Greek and the chicken was raw and oozing white matter when I cut open the breast. sent it back and they brought me the same breast still oozing. A guy come over to table and said the chicken was done they checked with the thermometer NOT !! the wait staff told us they time the chicken... I told them I wasn't paying for it. they ended up charging me 3.99 for potato which was part of the meal and 6.99 for baby greek . which I should have never been charged for the potato and only 3.00 for the baby greek. Very decent meal. Pleasantly surprised to find a nice clean place on Corunna Rd near the expressway. My husband had cabbage rolls dinner which were good. A bit different spice than we're used to but still good. I had a Chicken Caesar wrap that was good but a bit dry. Greek salads were great with excellent pink dressing that I used on my wrap, which made it much better. Waitress was attentive. My only complaint was the coconut cream pie. This was our first visit to Dom's Diner and we chose this restaurant since it's only 4 minutes from McLaren Hospital. It was very clean, parking lot was full of cars. It was really busy, staff was attentive seating us quickly, our waitress was waiting on other tables so her coworker made sure to take and bring our drink order assuring us she'd be with us soon. The food was delivered promptly. The menu had a lot of great choices so we each chose one of the daily specials. See the photos of the Cabbage rolls and Lasagna were as good and delicious as they looked. Even the salad tasted so good I finished it before eating my entrée. Food was delicious. We ordered via door dash and food was hot and made to order. We loved it.

On our way up North, we were starving and finally out of town. It was raining, and so it was my task to find a place to eat sooner than later. I checked out places off I-75 and this came up. I figured why not? So, off we went. Pulling off the expressway, it's pretty standard looking from the outside, but it's clean and well decorated on the inside. Sometimes it really is a crapshoot on what you get with random places. We were seated immediately and were given menus to order from. They have tons of food here, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were pleasantly surprised with all the good selections available. I went with a veggie omelet and the man went with eggs, sausage and gravy and toast. Food came out and the portions were huge! I couldn't finish all the food and neither could the man. Service was really on point and every thing here was really good. Overall, I don't know why this place doesn't get better reviews. We both really loved it here and would love to go back again. If you're in the Flint area, swing in and have a good meal here. I promise you will like it! read more

The rolls and coleslaw were delicious, but the rest of the meal was so bad, that neither of us could eat it. The turkey and gravy had a funny taste and the manager said it was fine. 1 star is actually too generous. I've never had such horrible service or been treated so rudely. My husband ordered a Detroit Pita. He was very disappointed with it. It looked more like a Mexican pizza than a chicken pita. The chicken was hard to even find there was so little of it, the pita was hard and impossible to even fold into a sandwich. We asked the waitress if this was how they always came, she said yes. He was not able to eat it and asked her to take it back. They refused to remake it or offer anything else in its place and still made us pay for it. He literally did not eat any of it! They even charged extra for the fries.... We were told it's not their fault that we don't like it. Like it?!?! It wasn't even edible! When we asked for a manager there was not one on site and we were told they would not be available any time soon. The "supervisor" was rude and no help. She refused to give the manager or owners name and said she had to charge for everything once it was rung in and that she had no way to take something off a bill. Lemme start by saying Dom's is my spot. It's never a hit or miss and before I moved. I got my grilled chicken blt (hold the mayo) with crispy fries almost every other week. Service is amazing as I remember, smiles and a good atmosphere. Sadly today the food didn't make that statement. The Dom's I remember had the stamp buns, juicy seasoned grilled chicken breast, nice cut tomato and a crispy piece of lettuce with bacon, cheese melted on top. There was no logo on bun, chicken (2 chicken chunks not a breast) was just bland with no flavor, lettuce was just shredded. Considering I didn't eat all day and drove 3hrs after work to get what used to be my favorite food. I was upset. I hope this speaks volume to the great food at the restaurant. My second visit to this restaurant and first time for breakfast. The diner was clean and tables stocked and ready for customers. When I arrived there was on one table occupied, however, there was no one to greet and seat me. For a brief wait but it was awkward standing ping next to a wait to be seated sign in a nearly empty restaurant, faintly greeted and seated , the waitress provided good service and attention. I ordered the "Roscoe's Chicken and waffles. The best thing I can say is the chicken was hot (straight out of the broaster) , but other than that not much here. Chicken was bland , and the breast was dry, the waffles were okay, smothered in some kind of margarine/spread that was not good. First, there were two of us in our party (dine in). We ordered the Julienne Salad. Mind you, we ordered one salad each. They did not vinegar and oil for us to use as our salad dressing. Ok, we improvised. I got the balsamic dressing and my sister got ranch. We asked for a tortilla shell to share. We did not want either salad put in the shell. We were told that one of the salads MUST be inside the bowl. The only way it could have been separate was if we were getting our meal to go. WEIRD!!!! This was at the orders of the mother of the owner of the restaurant. We recognized her from Coty's. I find it odd that you are REQUIRED to have your salad put in the shell. My sister experienced a previous VERY NEGATIVE experience with these owners. The salad was ok. Usually, when you say julienne, you have cubed meat. The meat on this salad was in thin slices. By the way, I poured my salad out of the shell into the big bowl that it came in and put the shell on the plate that our salad dressing containers were sitting on. VERY EASY FIX! I ordered a chicken stir fry that did not taste good and was offered to get something else but I had lost my appetite after tasting it and I told them no, I don't want anything else, and instead of just taking it off the bill and charging me for the soup that came with my meal they charged me the full 14.99 price. I was never told that they wouldn't remove it and I'm stuck paying for it. If they would of told me that I would of taken something else. When the bill came it was 14.99 for chicken stir fry...I said I took a bite and it tasted like shit. She tells me just cus you didn't like it you still have to pay for it. well if that's the case and you are forcing me to pay for it, I guess I will take something else. Then they refuse to give me something else for my money, after only maybe 5 minutes prior to asking me if I wanted something else, and then took the offer back. i've always enjoyed going there because they always treat Veterans with great respect. Their cheesecake always keeps me going back, and I always get one to go. Are usually get the blueberry pancakes and they have real butter which is good. They use corn syrup, which is OK I guess but I usually prefer real maple syrup from here in Michigan. My daughter had a turkey, Reuben and the waffle fries and it loved it. She's taking it home and she didn't even think to give me any but that's OK. I have plenty of food and I'm taking home blueberry pancakes and eggs scrambled dry and sausage patties yeah, the whole 9 yards. Decent local diner. It's essentially everything you're looking for in a local diner. It's clean, has a diverse menu, they offer lots of traditional dishes like omelets, club sandwiches, gyros, Greek salads, etc, and the price is right. I had a gyro here recently. It was quite good. The wife had an omelet with home fries. I think she said the omelet was a little too buttery or greasy, but it was fine when I tasted it, but she seemed happy with it overall. The home fries were pretty good, slightly different, but very well seasoned and tasty. The service was quick, friendly and despite how many people were having brunch at the same time, the food was on the table within a respectable interval. Refills on drinks came without needing to ask first. The atmosphere was very retro, old school diner. It was nice. It seems like a lot of money and effort are involved in the upgrades since the old Atlas reopened as Dom's Diner. The price was fine and brunch for the two of us was around $20. Not bad. He happened to be Albanian which is one of my co-laborers' nationality. I went for the meatloaf dinner- it was superb. Three large pieces! I couldn't eat it all so the others are going with me for a sandwich and my dog gets the other one. They had delicious bread and fresh, real vegetables, not canned-FRESH! I would recommend it to anyone. Katie: The restaurant has a warm atmosphere with appealing finishes. The owner was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. we went in at 12:15pm, we we sat right away and we were waited on promptly. we were served great food that was hot and tasty. My 91 year old father chose desert and coffee , coffee got cold and not offered a warm up and we were charged an extra $3 for his Strawberry Shortcake, the regular and to-go menus both said $6.99 but we were charged $9.99, when I questioned the cashier she said they were old menus. The food was good, I think the hot meatloaf sandwich definitely beat out the hot turkey sandwich, but the bonus is they both came with real mashed potatoes.they have a pretty extensive menu and they're open 24 hours. After placing order it took over 10 minutes to bring me soup, waitress Lauren dropped it on my table carelessly. Very disappointed, it was canned Campbell's chicken noodle soup. They can't make a chicken noodle soup? I ordered the roasted turkey entree. A table that sat down 5 minutes after me ordered the same entree. He received his meal before me. Service from waitress Lauren was so bad, another waitress was refilling my drinks and clearing my table.
