This place was much better than I expected! Actually I can't wait to go back. There is plenty of parking it's near the highway and located at the intersection of two main roads. The waitress was super friendly as was the lady who cashed us out. They have daily specials written on the sign when you first walk in there's plenty of seating mostly Booth style like an old school diner with really cool old photos up on all of the walls and an old legit style jukebox behind the counter. The menu is really good it's full it offers lots of different choices for people of all ages. I got the bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a shake. The shake was absolutely delicious I could go back for just that. It was super thick not overly sweet. It came in a cool metal cup with an actual metal spoon I mean who even gives metal spoon these days. The bacon cheeseburger had crispy edges crispy bacon a fresh tomato and a soft pillowy bun. French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had some fried pickles with ranch dressing. The fried pickles were nice because the batter was really thin often times the batter's so thick you can't even taste the pickle this was not the case. I was absolutely thrilled with all of my food it was tasty, it was fresh and hot, the place was clean, and the service was friendly I would go back any day and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I would really like to give this place five stars. My first two visits were great. But visit number three deserves negative stars. I bragged this place up to some friends and we met there for dinner. The place was not too busy. 7 PM on a Thursday night. Two of us ordered the burger fry and shake special, and our third guest ordered burger fry and soda pop. Our drinks were delivered within a few minutes. As we sat and enjoyed the shakes and visited with one another, it suddenly occurred to me that people had walked in, had their order taken, and food delivered well after we sat down. Approximately 45 minutes had passed since we ordered our food. I went to the hostess stand and inquired. The waitress immediately started typing our order into the system, she had forgotten to do so before. I get it, accidents happen, but what happens next is the reason for this review. I explain to her that I was not interested in waiting for the food to be cooked at this time and that we would be leaving, she then handed me a bill for the drinks. No "I'm sorry", No "let me make this right" No "the drinks are on us" No "we will make it up to you next time" All, or any of these would have made a difference. They are located nearly on the corner of Ballenger Hwy. and Miller Rd in Flint, Mi. Their water supply is from Flint Twp. Our party ordered a cheeseburger and fries with chocolate malt, Greek salad with a grilled chicken strip souvlaki and rice, and a bowl of chicken dumpling soup with a ham and cheese sandwich. My husband said that his chocolate malt was the best he ever tasted, and that is high praise from him! I was also pleased with the freshness and quality of the food as my salad was tasty, the souvlaki well prepared and yummy. Our friend loves the chicken and dumpling soup and sandwiches they offer. The prices are quite reasonable and you get good value for your money. We have already returned for a second meal and intend to make this our go to Coney Island when in the area. In terms of the decor, they have an Elvis theme going with memorabilia on the walls. Most of the seating is booths and they also have a busy take out window.
