Burgers for the football team!
Matt B.

Same as it ever was. KOEGEL'S hot dogs, FAMOUS Red sauce, FLINT-STYLE CONEY, LOCAL ABBOTT'S Meat. Sassy high schoolers and plenty of stuff to look at on the walls. Drive-in with intercom. Old school done right.

I want to gather a bit of my thoughts real quick and see what I can come up with... . . . I would really like to love you, but for some reason,, I just feel like everybody in this shop was just going through the motions. Like a place where everything is simulated and the employees have lost the will to fight on. Reason for which is that when I walked in to get my order,,, there was no, "HI!!! HELLO!!! Welcome!!! Can I take your order?" Instead, I get the blank stare from a middle aged lady that didn't even smile none. Like she was just waiting for me to start barking my order. So I did, she told me how much I owed, I gave her my card, she swiped,,, the reciept printed out, she gave it to me with my card and... that's that... I uh,, what do I do now??? It's my first time,,, no instructions whatsoever,,, like,, "We'll call your name out when your order is ready." type of instructions,,,, Nope, lady just turns around like I was just an afterthought. With that happening, I was totally confused on what to do... Do I wait inside until my order is ready, or do I wait for them to bring it to me to the picnic tables where my friends are??? So I go outside and I wait for signs of my order... I see a tray with food and a guy looking my way now. He nods,, I nod,, I walk in I grab the food. No, "Here you go sir, enjoy your meal." Instead, I just get the same nod and turn method. The food was decent at best,, but the service,, man oh man! I'm probably not a big fan of. Take care guys, I wish you the best of luck.

Our family loves the A&W red sauce and root beer, nothing better! We think $4 per hot dog is excessive.

Good hand-made burgers for carry-out, or kids of all ages. Casual, down to earth and clean.

This place is great! Patty melt is awesome. Great place to go with friends. Price might be just slightly high, but I'd go again.

The strawberry salad dressing was delicious too, although the chicken on it was a little tough and dry. The fish and chips were great too. The fries are the beer-battered with a crispy outside, which is my favorite type of fry, and the fish was cooked well too. It's decorated so cute in here for the holidays. I love the bows they put on the lights and how they line the shelves with decor! It definitely adds to the cozy vibe. Our server Jennifer was great too. She matched the ambiance perfectly with a confident, relaxed vibe. Very attentive and honestly one of the better servers I've had this holiday season. One update from my earlier visits: prices have definitely crept up a bit, and they now add a fee for card transactions. Not my favorite surprise at the end of the bill, especially at a place like this. That said, there's still a ton of variety on the menu with plenty of options, plus some more upscale entrées if you're feeling fancy!

Been here a few times and the food was usually good. Not today - I had a buffalo chicken wrap and…read moreit tasted like I was eating breaded chicken tenders that were microwaved (that's how tough the chicken was) I finally gave up halfway through my wrap. My Son got the Sunrise Burger, which was slightly under cooked. Our server never came and asked if we needed drinks or to check on us until she saw the card on the table to pay. Another thing that was strange was the hostess walked by while I was talking to my Son and (i assume it was a piece of trash she grabbed off of the table) but did it so quickly it was odd because 1 -I was unsure of what she did at first and 2-her hand was super close to my plate ...... No concern from the server until AFTER she took my payment and asked if I needed a box.... Nope, no thanks - asked if she wanted me to take it off the bill - I told her not to bother because why bother after it had been paid for??? She apologized and I told her it was not her fault she did not cook it - her response (as she is laughing) "you're right I didn't!" I will not be going back anytime soon

Went and visited my son up at school and both of us being burger fans took a shot at this spot…read more First and foremost it was nicer than I expected. I thought it would be more fast food in appearance, and in some ways it was with the self serve drink dispenser and plastic silverware, but aesthetically it was far more pleasing than any typical fast food burger spot. You know who I'm talking about. The counter person was absolutely wonderful dealing with us and our questions. Now onto the important stuff. Burgers are two patties and massive. You are definitely getting your money's worth. We split 3 different ones amongst us and they were all good: the mushroom, the southwest, and the brunch. The meat itself is a little flavorless but that might be cause typically I have the meat cooked to medium and these were well done. We weren't asked how we want them cooked so I'm assuming this is just how the cook all the patties. What I didn't like were the fries. They were cold and chewy like they have been sitting around for a while. My son ordered a caramel and it was absolutely delicious. So that was a huge positive. Overall it was a good experience and the prices were in good for the amount of food you get. I would definitely go again.

I made it a combo for as n extra 5.00 The straw for the drinks are real tiny. The burger was bland smooshed together in a ball ... Burger looks like it has 100 toppings in it and you really can't taste any of it. A steep price for the quality I have this place below Culver's or bk. And wendys.
