We've been here for a number of their holiday buffets. Selection is always great. They never disappoint.

We stopped here on a Friday night to finally use our gift card . So glad we did . How did we not find this spot earlier. The restaurant was not busy upon our arrival but by the time we left it was picking up. Our server was very friendly and attentive . Perhaps a little too much but nonetheless she made us feel important . There is cloth table covers and cloth napkins . Each dinner comes with a roll. I would say the average dinner is about $25-$30. Each of us enjoyed our meal. We even ordered calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was good , but not as outstanding as our meals were. We will be back. read more

I came here with my husband and our friend for our wedding anniversary dinner. The cocktails were absolutely fabulous and so were the two appetizers we had, calamari casino and artichoke dip. All of the entrées tasted absolutely wonderful. The service was equally wonderful. Sadly, I had to take two stars after I found a small piece of plastic that is pictured below in the dauphinois. I let our server know and she was truly sorry. She then went back to inform the kitchen. It was at this point I expected someone from the back to come out. It never happened. When the server cleared the table and took it back I again ask her to make sure she let the manager know about what was found. She returned shortly there after and let me know that he was "sorry. It may have happened during prep." I feel that as the manager he probably should have come out to apologize. I had no expectation of anything free. However, when dinner for 3 is nearly $200 before tip, I don't think a personal apology is too much to ask. Great job from the server and chef. Not so much a fan of the management team. read more

I was there just before Christmas last year for a get together that had been reserved well in advance. There were about 12-15 people in our party, and the rest of the place was virtually empty. I dont know if half the staff had just quit, or what, but the whole experience was pretty bad. The 2 staff who were waiting on us seemed to they their best, but service was crazy slow (took over an hour to get my first drink) and more than one order was completely wrong, and had to be sent back. I ordered a baked potato with my steak, and that is exactly what I got. A single, over dry, baked potato with no butter, no other accompaniment and none was offered when the waiter took my order. Silly me for assuming their would be options. The atmosphere is nice enough, but wow...everything was so bad it became almost funny. read more

We have been coming to SCH since 2014. I don't know what happened but this place has really gone downhill. The food was pre-packaged and cold, not fresh or even homemade. The staff was inattentive and unknowledgeable. The place has become run down and filthy. No handles on bathroom stall, overflowing trash, no toilet paper in stalls. They are charging $25-40 per meal, so overpriced. I don't know if they changed owners but something is off and we will no longer return . read more

The service was horrid. Took over an hour for drink orders. They literally had 3 beers available bottle only. The waitress didn't know the available drinks. The appetizers were good but I got shrimp Alfredo and it was more like Alfredo sauce soup. Th pasta was broken and minimal in the bowl, the Alfredo sauce had broken and was separated in the bowl. I couldn't eat it. No dessert options. The ambiance was beautiful but made it seem deceivingly better than it was. I will never go back. 0/10. read more

So this restaurant has really went downhill in the past six months. I'm not sure what's happened to it, but the clientele has definitely changed for the worse. It's very sketchy, not clean, two chairs broken, and the bathroom doors don't shut. What happened to the place we use to love here ? The customer service here is horrible. I wish I could give this place zero stars! Ebony called me back SEVERAL days after I left an inquiry regarding touring their venue for my upcoming wedding. She was polite, I will say that. However, when the confirmed day and time came to tour the venue no one showed up, I texted Ebony (as I was instructed to do so) and there was no response. I called, and no answer. To this day, no one has reached out to me to reschedule or to apologize for the no show. Very bad business! I do not recommend associating with a place like this! read more

Attended a company sponsored dinner here last evening and was excited to dine here as this was our first visit. Nothing about the dinner served stood out as being amazing . Salad quality was good but disappointing that a choice of dressing was not offered as the ranch dressing served was very watered down. Prime rib was just okay, potatoes and beans served were very good. Overall I am glad we did not have to pay for dinner tonight . If I could give zero Stars I would! This establishment is highly unprofessional along with the owner Gus Tyler. I highly recommend you have your events at any other venue then this one. Guests were still waiting for their meals 3 hours after the orders were placed. The food came out cold, there were three servers for a party of 60 and two chefs in the back. After speaking with Mr Tyler he offered us gift cards as if we were ever going to walk back into that place again. Completely unorganized and over their head to maintain a business such as this. Love the restaurant it's beautiful , but we went thursday for surf and turf. It advertised 8oz. Filet and 8 oz. Lobster tail. It came with no sides which was ok , but 3 stalks of asparagus was $7 and the lobster tail wasn't 8oz. It was 4oz. Needless to say wont be back on thursdays. read more

We went there after church as a group and booked a table, one person had a gift card that they said she couldn't use because they were under new management but yet they have the same name, very distasteful the food was not up to the expectations that we had, after this experience we will not be returning as a group, no one had great things to say, some just said it was okay. I thought this was an upscale restaurant, we drank out of plastic cup, but yet the prices reflected five star, one meal was $68, yet it was still ok, if your going to be upscale be that, otherwise dummy down on the price if you're not going to be upscale. My friends and I visited this location twice for their live jazz night with beer and burgers. Both times the service was slow. But after the first experience we decided to give them another try. The second experience was horrible! The waitress seemed very spaced out. She kept bringing water to our table one glass at a time and there were 6 of us. She then brought two glasses of wine and forgot about the rest of us. She can out after we have been there and ordered over an hour ago to let us know that they had run out of patties and they would swerve us frozen Pattie's. We requested a manager and she agreed to comp the two glasses of wine and an artichoke appetizer but they wouldn't do anything about the fact that we receive prep service and had been waiting an hour and a half. She said she asked the owner if he would comp us something and he said no. I won't be visiting this establishment again. It's sad because your spinach artichoke dip was amazing. read more

We have taken my mom to this restaurant for her birthday for years. This is the first time we were very disappointed. Waited over 2 hours to get our food. It came out a few at a time, so we didn't eat at the same time. All steaks ordered were well overcooked and chewy. Sides were cold and inedible. Some people didn't eat anything. Excellent place to sit back, relax and enjoy friends or even your love one. It's cozy, food is GREAT, the servers and the owner is very personable and friendly. They have an outdoor summer setting w/ jazz, water fountain that is so beautiful and romantic. Not to mention the very intimate indoor setting of cozy lighting. a wine cellar and great music to just enjoy your company and great food. I would highly suggest. Got invited to a party being held at Signature Chop House. Like to know ahead of time what I might like to eat, but could not see a menu on their website which is basic restaurant 101. My wife called them because she must eat gluten free. The man who answered the phone ensured her they had a gluten free menu. When we arrived at the restaurant my wife asked several times for the gluten free menu and never got one. The prices here are very high, beyond anything we are used to. The person sitting next to us couldn't eat their prime rib it was so overcooked. How can a chop house screw up prime rib? They took it off his bill but still charged him $12.95 for the simple garden salad he got with his meal. Christmas decorations still up outside. On the plus side, the restaurant decor is beautiful and the waitstaff nice and attentive. Overall, not worth the price. read more

We just left there, our $50 filet was cold, the salmon was cold.. other people in the party that had a pasta dish said they came out warm and were good. Ordered mushrooms and caramelized onions $6 per each, these came in a very small dish that was 1/4 of the way full. Baked potato with sour cream and butter didn't arrive with butter. We were in a larger party and our food came out at 4 different times last meal arriving after 3/4 of our party was finished eating and came out by itself. Don't show up when they open! We arrived when they opened and they didn't have the A/C on. Was a bit warm, but once the hot dishes arrived, we sweated through our meal. We asked why it was so warm, and were informed that the owner did not turn on the A/C till he arrived. Server was nice enough, but came up missing and required me to go hunting for him. We asked for lemon for our water and he brought out a little dish of sliced lemon, but they was mold on some of them! When the food finally arrived, it was just lukewarm. We were shocked when we walked in to the restaurant and were escorted through the main dining room into the ballroom where it was a buffet. NO WHERE on Open Table or on the Signature Chop House website did it state that this was what their Easter Day was going to be. If I knew I never would have made the reservation. We spoke to the owner at our disappointment and he did nothing for us...basically too bad. The quality of the buffet food was AWFUL, especially with a $40/person price tag. Amazing hidden gem of an upscale steak house right here in Flushing! The decor is on point, and the Owner Joseph is always on site checking in with customers to ensure an amazing visit. I happen to be partial to their crab cakes. They are on the appetizer menu and well priced. My family usually goes for the steak and so far every time it's been cooked exactly as requested. Caprese salad is also one of my personal favorites and is you're in the mood to try a new drink ask for the Moscow mule. The only experience that wasn't 5 stars here was Sunday buffet. I have to say I think that's more because I'm not a big fan of a buffet. The food was good but I'm used to prepared upon ordering. In short, a great option for nearby dinning elegance! read more

The food was tasty, but being a brunch buffet, it went fast. The breakfast food seemed overcooked. The Prime rib was very good, as was the veggie's, and other sides. The dessert selection was good, but it also went fast and the fruit selection, although extensive, was tasteless and very under ripe. The restaurant itself is very luxurious and elegant. Very clean. The waitstaff was very nice and did their jobs very well. Our server, I wish I had gotten her name was excellent. The floor in the buffet room was so slick with wax, people were slipping and sliding. They brought in more rugs, but the rugs would slip. I was afraid someone was going to break a leg. The owner is friendly to only the customers he knows. He doesn't bother with anyone else. The salad came out first and it looked as if it was the bottom of the bag salad. I sent it back and got some sort of potatoes. They had a fancy name for them but it was potatoes and onions. Not good whatsoever. My entree came out, u would have thought this food was for a child with those noodles and had no flavor. I ordered a green tea drink and it was even watered down. Was forced to come here due to a family gathering and I ordered the cheapest entree on the menu (Lasagna). It was the best lasagna I've had next to my ex-wife's which IS still the best. I've given signature chop house three chances and I'm done with the food. I've been to their wine down three Fridays in a row. The first Friday the food was ok I had salad with shrimp added to it. The second week we ordered fish and chips and the food was cold so we sent it back and got appetizers. This past Friday August 4 we ordered appetizers and Fish and chips it was burnt and three tiny pieces of fish I sent it back they offered to put a extra piece of fish but I said no and ordered the shrimp Alfredo I had eight little shrimp on two sticks the I had to use my fingers to put it in the Alfredo myself and the Alfredo was so soupy you couldn't tell it was noodle in the shrimp Alfredo. The bread that they served wasn't done the table behind us their bread was burnt and they were also complaining about their fish and chips being small and burnt. The prices are extremely high for the type of food they're giving you. This wine down 6-10 on Fridays with live band the band is still setting up after 6:30 and doesn't start playing music until way after 7/7:30. Some of the waitresses uniforms skits are so short you can see their butt cheeks. I'm so disappointed it's a beautiful place so I hope they get together . read more
