My SIL likes the non-caffeinated Brown Sugar Fresh Milk, which she developed cravings for when she was preggers. The boba is nice and soft and I like that they they offer grass jelly and red bean! The parking garage next door is super convenient and you can call in your order to avoid waiting when you arrive. I recommend this as the place can get popular. So I doordashed a regular milk tea with boba, taro-matcha, and pandan egg puffs. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, but just wasn't sure what to order or if I'd like it. Fortunately, doordash was offering free delivery today, I was set out to order at my normal boba spot but I decided to give Li Cha Tea a try. My regular milk tea tasted off. It has a sour taste to it and I'm not sure if its because of the tea they're using or the boba. I will say the boba is nice, soft and chewy, but there is this weird sour after taste that I just can't bring myself to enjoy. I wish it was sweet like a honey boba, but the sourness is throwing my whole drink off. My bf liked his taro-matcha and my son and I enjoyed the pandan egg puffs. This place must have had a change of ownership because I can't understand why the 5 star reviews, but can understand the recent 1 star reviews. I ordered a honeydew boba and it couldn't taste more artificial. The egg puffs were made fresh, but when I got them, they were hard and wrinkly. Which means the batter is old! They were hard and not fluffy and steamy. The place is plastered with old stamp cards for decor, but have no current reward system in place. There's so many other boba places within blocks. I'm Asian, I love boba, and this is not it. My friend and I got the lemon refresher with aloe and four seasons spring with grass jelly. The aloe just fell apart in your mouth? It was like cotton candy, not in a good way. My tea was okay, needed more sugar even though I got 100% sweet. The grass jelly had absolutely no flavor and had a very weird chewy agar texture. My friend brought me a rose milk tea from this place and it's honestly one of the best I've had in the Bay Area. I think a lot of places don't have as an authentic flavor as the tea did here, and since so many boba places are popping up around the bay it's good to know that Li Cha honors the authenticity of tea flavor!
