1/5 -- Very Disappointing Experience I had a very frustrating experience at this nail salon. In the middle of my service, while I was trying to pick a nail color, the owner actually put another customer in the same chair I was using -- even though my nails weren't finished. My nail tech couldn't find the color I wanted, but instead of helping to resolve the issue or letting me finish, they rushed me out and gave my spot away. This was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I came in expecting a relaxing service, not to be pushed aside mid-appointment. There was no communication or apology, and I left with my nails unfinished and feeling like my time and business didn't matter. I went in for the first time and asked for a Basic Pedi&Mani. I got regular polish on my toes and shellac French on my nails. The guy placed the white polish on the entire white part of my natural nail. He did not want to make the white tips smaller because he said my natural nails would show through.(I had this done before at other salons, never had an issue) He didn't even bother to paint the nails pink under the white. The total came out to $70. I was told $50 for mani and pedi plus $20 for the French shellac. I asked why am I paying twice for nail service shouldn't it be included in the mani and pedi price of $50 and the lady said it's because they dipped my hand in water and removed my cuticles. I understand if they would do an up charge for the shellac French but not $20 when I'm already technically paying for a mani in the mani and pedi charge. I would go back if the pricing made sense and use another mail tech. read more

i asked for regular square nails and i ended up with duck nails. after only a week of having the nails they started falling off. the vibe what off and they did not even prep the nails correctly.its almost like they were good at the painting part then they just assumed they could do everything else just as good. do not recommend getting acrylics from them but maybe just a paint or gel. read more

I have also had pedicures from one of the women and one of the men unfortunately, I don't remember their names, but they were good... No reason for these one star reviews as the place is clean, friendly and I am very particular about my nails. Tracy is exceptional. read more

I usually refrain from publishing negative reviews but LG Nails was unquestionably the worst manicure I've ever had and people deserve to be forewarned. I went in for a gel manicure. When I left I noticed almost immediately that there were a half dozen rough edges that were snagging on anything I touched and went back right away to the young man who'd done the manicure. His solution was to quickly file the edges, paying no attention to how thin he'd made them. Within three days, even with gel polish, several nails had completely split lengthwise so again I returned, thinking someone more experienced would be able to correct them. Not a good idea and I should have cut my losses and just gone to a better nail salon and paid the price for a proper manicure. The correction resulted in adding several acrylic tips, a dip manicure that went on way too thick and with an uneven surface and that began to separate from my nails within days. At the next salon they took one look and asked "What happened... what did they do?" As I was telling them the story another client asked where I'd gone, and when I said I'd been to a place on Immokalee Road she immediately said "LG Nails?" Clearly their reputation preceded them. She'd been once, was unhappy with her manicure, but went on to tell me about another person who came back after a lip wax with a seriously burned upper lip. They also do eyebrow tattoos! I can only imagine what a mistake there would look like. Consider yourself warned. read more

Worst pedicure EVER!! The gentlemen, who I believe is the owner, rushed through my pedicure, was very rough, and rushed through painting my toe nails. He layers the polish over and over then added clear polish and by the time I went to dry them the paint had rolled off onto my toes. When I pointed it out he blamed it on the polish. He then started to try and fix it but it got worse. Half of my toe nail is missing polish. This was my first and last time. Do NOT come here. read more

I have gone here multiple times. At the beginning I was pleased with the work they were doing. The last time that I went the technician spent the entire time talking to everyone around her and cut me a couple of times so I have not returned. I also was not happy with the quality of the nail polish. I have seen them adding acetone to the polish and I think this is why the polish is not good. My daughter wanted to try acrylic nails for the first time. The place where her friend had them done was not open on Mondays so we came here. I actually stopped in without my daughter earlier in the day and explained to the gentleman that I wanted to make an appointment with the person that had the most experience doing acrylic nails. He reassured me that when we came back we would get an experienced technician. Needless to say I am not at all happy with how my daughters nails turned out. They are very thick and wide and do not look even remotely natural. I also thought the price of $45 was a bit expensive compared to what her friend paid and the quality of work she had done. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because my daughter didn't totally hate her nails, but then again she doesn't know any better. My girlfriend recently went there to get her nails done after coming back from a trip (exactly a week ago). She got the dip powder done and the technician rushed through the process. 2 days later, the color on 3 of her nails began to crack. She went back & asked to have hem fixed- they refused to fix all of her nails and only did the ones that cracked. This caused to have 3 nails be a darker shade than the rest. When she asked if the rest of the nails would crack also, they said no that they looked good. They did not seem apologetic for the issue, rather got them done and spoke amongst themselves. The next day, 2 other nails had the same issue. My girlfriend was upset and will obviously not be going back. These nails have lasted her less than a week. Worst part is that they won't even own up to the mistakes and the quality of service sucked. read more

When I walked in I was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station. It was very busy, so I was encouraged. Tiffany was called out from the back. She was talking in another language but it sounded like complaining about having to come out and work on me. Maybe it was just some personal drama, but whatever it was she was totally distracted. She gave me half of a glance when she sat down and began the pedicure. She continued complaining in her language while roughly cutting my nails. She was fast, which I love, but very rough and her rant in her language had me very tense and on edge. I did not feel welcome. I was extremely shocked and disappointed to realize each employee carries their own case of pedicure tools from customer to customer. There is zero autoclaving or sterilization of instruments happening here. So many people have foot fungus, and this place certainly can be spreading it through the tools. She did put a tub liner in, but what's the point when using contaminated tools? I do not like getting the cheese grater on my feet and that is what was used instead of a pumice rock. My feet look above average, but there isn't much shine on the nails and the skin around my nail is red on my big toe. Finally, when it was time to pay she looked at me and asked for payment. I will not be returning, which is unfortunate because it is located very conveniently and it was only $25. read more

I went in for a shellac manicure and pedicure and was there for two hours. My pedicure turned out okay, but my manicure was an absolute disaster! The nail tech painted 2-3 nails at a time (I imagine to paint them quicker?) which I don't think allowed my nails to "cure". Rather than wiping off/removing the shellac and repainting it, the tech continued to add more polish, which resulted in my nails bubbling. He tried to tell me that they looked fine, but I asked him to remove the shellac completely. I was charged $40, so I think he still charged me for the manicure, based on other reviews stating a pedicure price of $25. I was honestly so frustrated and wanted to go home since I had been there for over two hours. read more

My service was awesome! I had a pedicure and manicure. My tech was friendly & and help me pick colors. I walked in as they were closing for the evening, but they remained open to complete my services and they didn't rush me. My feet felt awesome and my hands flawless. Took two hours & three different nail techs just to try and attempt pink and white ombre. I asked if anyone was able to do it and they said yes however when the time came to actually do the pink and white it took the first person three tries to do the acrylic and before they asked for help from another nail tech. I said if they're not able to do it I can just do a solid color and be done but they insisted and it didn't end up even looking like pink and white it was just a blurry mess of splotches. Will not be going to the salon again because they charged me full price for a hack job. Poor customer service skills. read more

Took my two girls here and we all got a manicure. 15$ each plus tip. Time spent with each of us: max. 5 minutes. First polish started coming off the next day. Second lasted about 3,5 days. Have gone here for a couple of years and was satisfied. Last week the manicure was 15 minutes from start to dryer and in 3 days it looks awful. The tech spoke to a co-worker in another language the entire time, was on her cell ohone when I returned from washing my hands, never had me take my wristwatch off, did a half hearted job and sent me on my way. Must have been a fluke. I came here two weeks ago had an amazing pedicure. Came back today and the whole experience was horrendous, whats worse is i brought my mom and sister with for a little of a girls day. The lady i got, terrible terrible customer service, did a half ass job and rushed the whole thing. I get it, its only 25$ but i could have saved that and done a better job myself. My experience wasnt the only ad one. My poor sister was made to feel uncomfortable by the lady doing hers.
