My experience at LG Auto - from the customer service to the technical knowledge to the fine workmanship - was so positive and reassuring that it compelled me to post a review, which I rarely do. I had considerable damage to the front of my brand new 2020 Mazda, which needed repair and replacement of various parts including the hood, headlight, fender part, bumper, tire, etc. I had researched and called several shops in the area but ultimately felt most confident in LG after my initial conversation with the shop manager, Ed Murcia. He explained the entire process to me, from how they would assess damages, factors that could impact completion timeframe, and how they would coordinate with my insurance company and dealership to ensure a smooth process. Working with LG eliminated the anxiety of having been in an accident and not knowing what shop I could trust to work on a new car that I've had for only five months. Ed immediately arranged the car to be towed from my home to the dealership to get an initial realignment before beginning their assessment of the damages. Throughout the whole process, he maintained frequent communication with me, providing updates both verbally and via email, letting me know the status of my car and where we were in the process and answering all my questions. Communication was consistent, thorough, clear, and even technical details were explained in a way that a non-technical person can understand. I never had to wonder or worry about what was going on with my car. LG coordinated with my insurance company, advocating for what was best for the vehicle - replacement with new Mazda parts despite the insurance adjuster's attempt to use after market and old Mazda parts. The auto shop even graciously offered to cover the difference on one of the parts to ensure my car was properly restored to pre-accident condition. They also coordinated with the dealership staying on top of them to ensure the necessary callibration was done timely and that my car sensors were in working order. There was no gap in coordination or customer service even with the Thanksgiving holidays. I got my car back in perfect shape, looks brand new again, and the paint job is amazing. They restored my car but more importantly, my experience with LG restored my faith in true customer service. LG Auto Body exceeded my expectations. I got into an accident and needed my bumper replaced, so I stopped by LG for an estimate. The staff there was SO courteous and professional, and even matched an estimate I'd gotten elsewhere since I knew I'd prefer to get the work done here based on my experience. They replaced my car bumper in such a short time period and with minimal inconvenience to my life. When they were unable to schedule me, I tried LG and was impressed by the response I received on the initial call. Eduardo, the Shop Manager, was especially personable and the repair work was completed in a reasonable time as predicted with labor costs extremely competitive to other shops where I unfortunately had other work accomplished in the past. Quality work for a reasonable rate. It shows their interest is in customer satisfaction and what's best for the car and owner and not just trying to rack up a large bill for customers. I checked with other body shops in the area and LG gave the best estimate. When it came time to pay for the work I actually paid slightly less than what was expected. I shopped around quite a bit after my rear passenger door got in a fight with a cement pole in a parking garage. It looked pretty terrible and there was damage on both the outside and inside edge of the door. I took it to 3 places and they all said it needed a new skin, paint, blending of the paint on the front door and back panel and all gave me quotes in the $900 - $1200 range. The last place I stopped was LG and Luis looked at my door and said the whole door needed to be replaced. He told me other shops wanted to do the skin because they can tack on more billable hours than a simple replacement (which is true- all their quotes were for 8 or 9 hours) AND that according to Nissan, repairing the large dents compromises the safety of the door and that it should be replaced. His quote was the highest (but because of parts not labor) but I trusted him. It was done on time and it looks like new. Luis looks young, but he is one of the post professional auto guys I've ever encountered. You can tell that he cares about what he does and he wants to do quality work. I have to write my first Yelp review because these guys are that good. Luis and team went above and beyond at every stage of our interactions with them. We were rear-ended on the beltway on the way to the airport and missed our flight. Because we're from Baltimore, we had to find a place to have our vehicle towed in unfamiliar terrain. Near the end of the day on Friday, I got lucky and called LG. Luis kept the shop open late to ensure our car wouldn't be left outside over the weekend. Over the next weeks, they delivered top notch service and kept me appraised of all progress and delays (our car was brand new and some parts had to be ordered from Japan). My only regret is that I don't live closer to these guys. Otherwise, they would be the only place I go from here on out and I'd make all my friends go to them as well. It may be a bit of a haul from Baltimore, but they could not have done a better job. read more

LG Auto is simply AMAZING. Look no further - you will get the best estimate and will be 100% satisfied with your service! LG fixed a broken side mirror and scratches on the side of our Prius due to hitting a pole in a parking garage. We first met Ed, who was courteous, knowledgeable, straightforward, and responsive throughout the process. He did an estimate on our car, with break down of each cost, including labor, with both factory and alternative options, to save us some cash. He also showed us another car that had the same work done on it, which actually helped convince us that we didn't need a blend done on our paint, and saved us over $200! The car was done the day he told us it would be (3 days) and when we picked it up, LG had even washed it for us! There were no surprises with the final bill and this went as smoothly as it could possibly go. They did a great job! I had Multiple places that needed repari. Prices were good, and they were wonderfully cooperative in meeting my time needs. They seem very invested in doing a good job and making sure that the customer is satisfied. Much better than the previous body shop in Bethesda that my insurance company uses who did not completely attach the front bumper they worked on. Probably the nicest staff you will meet anywhere. Roxanna is a sweetheart and Ed was knowledgeable and friendly. Just a good team. Estimate was comparable to anywhere else and you feel you can trust them. Would have given 5 stars but had to wait a half hour beyond my scheduled appointment while Ed and Roxanna worked out some billing issues. I was the only one in the small waiting area and felt they could have handled the paperwork issues after they took care of me. (My estimate took under 10 minutes and I needed to get back to work.) Also, parking seems very, very limited. Not sure if there are too many "accounting emergencies" bad enough to keep a customer waiting a half-hour, but that part of the experience was soon forgotten when I dealt with Ed and picked up on the fact that he's an honest hard working guy you can trust to take good care of your car. You know from the moment you shake his hand he's a good guy and as I said earlier, Roxanna is a dear. Can't go wrong with this shop. Oh, and a GREAT LCD screen in the waiting area to keep you entertained. Cozy shop, but very clean and not cramped. They deserve the ratings they get here on YELP. read more
