5 stars for a nice rubber track! As an active walker/ runner, I am regularly seeking parks with a track. This was a serendipitous find on the way home from work. Features - The park has ample parking, 1 basketball court (which is also used for pickleball), 2 fitness zones with 10+ different workout equipment , park benches, coal pits, soccer field, padded track, and children's play area. It is very well maintained / clean and the biggest bonus is the rubberized track for me. There's also doggy poop bags too, in case you're walking your dog and forget! You can easily find walkers at 7am here which provides a relatively safe exercise environment. The only possible drawbacks I see is - 1) there is minimal shade, and 2) it is right by horse sables (it is next to the horse race track) 3) the track is relatively small (less than 0.5 miles a lap).

What a cool playground! Not your traditional playground, this one is fill of ropes in different structures to climb on and over. There is a slide and a saucer swing. A short walk from the parking lot and some shade. Connected to a much larger sports field with bleachers. Public workout equipment for adults around the way, too.

Playground: clean and well kept. No broken/torn ropes. Shaded. Park: 2 soccer fields with artificial grass. No dogs allowed on artificial grass. Parking: PLENTY! :) EV stations as well. Pavilions: 6 covered areas to sit and/or have a little gathering. Wanna work out? No prob! There's a .25 mile track and exercise machines. :) Bathrooms: there's one on each side of the park. The one closest to the playground, for women's, is maintained nicely, no smell and very clean. No paper towel, air dry. Has 4 stalls. I prefer this park over the other ones nearby for the amenities it offers.

Neighborhood park that's super clean, there is lots of shade and safe. Police normally patrol the area so it was so cool.

Pickleball has quickly become more than just a hobby for me--it's honestly an addiction in the best way. From the moment you step onto the court, there's an energy that's hard to describe. It's fun, fast-paced, and surprisingly competitive, yet still welcoming to players of all skill levels. What really makes pickleball special is the community. The courts feel like a second home, where familiar faces turn into friends and every game brings laughter, encouragement, and just the right amount of challenge. Whether you're there to improve your game or just unwind, it's the kind of place you never want to leave. If you haven't tried pickleball yet, you're missing out--it's one of those sports that hooks you instantly and keeps you coming back for more.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for getting games in no matter the weather. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the atmosphere. Bryan and Mike (the owners) are super chill and genuinely care about the community they're building here. They always make me feel welcome, whether I'm dropping in for a quick game or staying for a few hours. The vibe is friendly, not overly competitive, and great for all skill levels. You can tell they've put a lot of effort into creating a space where people actually enjoy hanging out--not just playing. If you're into pickleball or even just looking to get into it, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.

From the outside I wasn't sure if this was a pickleball/badminton combo or something else entirely, but once inside it was clear this is a legit, pickleball-focused operation. It was a very windy day, so outdoor courts weren't really an option, which made this place a great alternative. They've got close to 20 indoor courts, and they say they always keep three courts available for the public, even though it's primarily a membership club. The facility itself is clean, modern, and well laid out, nothing makeshift about it. For non-members, it's $40 per hour plus $5 per person, so a standard doubles game comes out to $55/hour. Not cheap, but if the weather's bad and you really want to play, it's a solid option. They also have membership plans, including $200/month for unlimited play (including nights and weekends) and a $150/month daytime-only option if you're flexible with your schedule. There's a small cafeteria/snack area, which gives it more of a club feel than just courts and nets. During the day it wasn't crowded at all, and the vibe was upbeat; people were clearly having a good time. I could see it getting busy on weekends or after work, but midday felt very manageable. Overall, it's an interesting concept that seems well executed. Not an everyday bargain spot, but a great backup plan when outdoor courts are windy, wet, or completely packed. Definitely worth knowing about if you play pickleball in the area

The floors & courts are nice but there are no organize system for open play. Beginner & Advanced players were in 1 line. My husband waited 15 minutes and ended up playing with a kid and his father, another against an old man. We suggested to the worker to make 1 court advanced challenge level, leaving the other 2 courts open for anyone. After 5 minutes, everything was going well until a 2nd worker came in and took all our paddles & moved it back to the single line. Without any explanations, he just picked up all 10 paddles and moved it to the end of the beginners line. We were pissed! His explanation, "IT'S MY HOUR and this is how it's going to be". My friends were pissed at his rudeness and lack of courtesy. We were payed players, he's an employee. He should know better on how to speak to customers. We found out 1 of the beginner complained and wanted the old "single file line" back. Mind you, when we had the 1 advance court, we had over 15 paddles waiting while the 2 beginner courts had less than 10 people for 2 courts. This place needs a better system and designate Beginner, Intermediate & Advance/Challenge courts. Lavender is geared toward older, kids & beginner levels, that's why they don't understand about game etiquette. Unfortunately for Lavender, my group WILL NOT return here.

You can skip to my summary at the end, or read the details if you like. I should have known something was wrong as soon as I registered. This is no "World Pickleball Association tournament." This is more like "John Gill's tiny pickleball tournament." There was no transparency -- no way to know who else signed up, or even how many others signed up for our event. 3 days before, I got an automated email stating that we would be in the DUPR under 4.00 division, essentially a 3.5 event, not the 3.0 event my wife and I signed up for. I asked the tournament director, John Gill, to withdraw, as this was not appropriate for us. He assured me that there were enough players at our level, that everyone had DUPR ratings under 3.5, or they didn't have ratings. John flat out lied to me. The other players' DUPR ratings were 3.8, 3.6, 3.6, and 3.4 before the tournament. Besides me and my wife, there were only 4 other players under 4.0. These are facts, not my opinion. John knew this, and I think he chose to lie to me because without me and my wife, he would have had to combine all the players (including 4.0+) into one division. We tried to make the most of it. We played the 2 other teams and tried to have fun. Unfortunately, the tournament was utterly disorganized. Want to know why? It's because John played in the tournament, rather than running it! He gave a brief talk at the beginning, and then he was unavailable. There was nobody running the tournament, just one helper writing down scores. After we played a couple games against each team, we waited for someone to tell us what to do next. We waited, and waited, and waited. For about 45 minutes. Finally I interrupted John during a game, and he said that the 2nd place team should play the 3rd place team. I told him we needed help figuring that out, but there was nobody to help us, so we ended up arguging about it. He had one volunteer entering scores, but she had no idea what was going on. One of the other players made a decision, so we went ahead and played the other team, which turned out to be wrong. As I learned the next day through Pickleball Brackets, it was a tricky issue involving the order of the 2nd and 3rd tiebreakers. So we (#3) played the #1 team when we should have played the #2 team, and that was the end of our tournament. We grabbed our 3rd place medals and left. John was still playing. I should also add that the venue (Westgate Hotel, Las Vegas) was disappointing. There were 8 outdoor courts, way too close together, with very little netting or fencing separating the courts. There was no water at the courts, just an empty water jug, so we had to go hunt for it. Snacks consisted of a few bananas and a bag of oranges. There was no swag or anything else to make this tournament remotely worth $70 per person. So here's my summary: 1. There was no organization whatsoever. The supposed tournament director, John Gill, played in the event when he was supposed to be running it. He did not run it at all, and neither did anyone else. 2. John lied to me about our opponents' DUPR ratings. He combined divisions due to low turnout, and our opponents were far above the level we signed up for. There were no other players at our level. 3. The courts were disappointing. Also snacks were poor, and there was no swag, nothing remotely worth $70. Did we have a good time? Well, the weather was nice, and I got to spend time with my wife and play pickleball. We made the most of it. If this sounds like a good tournament to you, then by all means, sign up for the next one. We won't. Addendum: After I posted this review, John Gill called me because he wanted me to take it down. Rather than acknowledging any of my points, he accused me of being a complainer because I lost. I told him that if he disagrees with anything I said in my review, he can respond in writing here. Addendum #2: And there you have it. John replied to my comment, and his disjointed and disorganized response speaks for itself. 3 out of 7 reviews so far are 1 star, because this is how he treats his customers. It is really exasperating talking to a business owner who won't listen to anything you say. If this is what you want, take your chances and play in his tournaments! Addendum #3: Here's an analogy to sum up my experience. Imagine going to a restaurant. The chef, instead of cooking in the kitchen, is eating at a table next to you. There's a guy in the back microwaving food and bringing it out. The customers are all arguing, but the chef insists that his food is excellent. He says, "I volunteer at a homeless shelter, and they like me there!"

I never received a response, so I decided not to sign up and risk it. A couple of months later some other friends were signing up so I joined with them. We played the advanced beginner league which had a pretty wide array of skill levels playing. The fun of a ladder league is that after the first session you are playing with people at about your level, so you can have some very fun and challenging games. The lady who was running our league was very nice and created a fun environment for our play. We did end up getting rained out for two sessions, and they extended the league by two weeks to make up for it. However, the owners didn't contact everyone in the group to let us know about the cancellation, so both times people showed up expecting the league only to find it had been cancelled that week. The rankings which were uploaded to the website weekly were also wrong the second week and never uploaded the third week, so it was hard to track our progress. The courts are permanent and in good condition, so they were nice to play on and we made some new friends. Overall it was a fun experience, but the administration of the league really a lot of room for improvement.

Don't expect anyone to be there on time! The last 3-4 weeks, consistently 10-20 minutes late (and NO, they don't adjust the time you reserved your court!). For the last year (maybe even longer), the back courts 19, 20, 21 have been reserved for instruction. This past week, our group had been warming up on courts 13-15 (after getting on the courts after 0830). Ten minutes later, Coach Shelly comes over and tells us we have to move because her classes take priority and her reserved courts are wet at the baseline, but we can play on them!! What a joke for a "professional" instructor! For me, this is the last straw! The management of these courts, is incompetent, has no professionalism and should be replaced. Much better courts and people and teaching pros at a facility very close by; sorry but you will have to find them on your own, courts are too crowded! ;-) Too bad these courts are being ruined by Coach Shelly and whomever else is in charge!
