There are a good amount of trees to absorb the noise pollution from the traffic on Knott Avenue. Small picnic area is available for a little lunch rendez vous. There is a play area for children - jungle gym, swings. There is also a nice grassy area for you dog lovers and great for t-ball or soccer practice. Basketball court is available for a quick game of horse, one-on-one or larger team play. And there are nets in the basket, for all your nothing-but-net shots. It's always good to get some fresh air and spend time at the park.

It makes me feel a little bit more safe and there is a splash pad. It is small but on the day that I went it was not crowded. There's a good sized green area as well with a covered bench areas spread throughout. There's also a walking path with a small exercise machine area along the way. The parking here is not so great, but with Arnold Cypress back open around the corner it's become a bit better.

How have I not given our local park the Yelp treatment yet??!?…read more Lexington was the answer to Oak Knoll being outgrown, we are a city of recreation and competitive sports, and if you build it, we will use it to its fullest potential. Lexington is proof! This park, at its core, is two large sized football/soccer fields that can be divided up for smaller league kid games. One field is natural grass, the other a composite. The entire park is well lit because of the night games that are played there, which makes for an overall inviting and safe experience - and I never see the park empty, it's always in use. Surrounding the fields are a running track that circles the distance of the park, a large playground area, seating for the parents, oh, a large set of bleachers for the FNL and soccer games. A workout area in the back with a circuit style set of arm/leg machines. Pickleball and basketball courts, a general area with covered seating for picnics and gatherings, and a large parking lot area that, although large, can be found filled on busy days. Overall this is a good park and a great addition to our cities lineup. We come here often to do sports or use their other various facilities. :)

I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.

The lake area with the little church in the background is a nice touch, makes it feel more relaxing and not just your typical park. Good walking paths, plenty of grass, and nice spots to just sit and chill. Everything felt well kept and safe, which is a big plus when you're bringing kids.
