Nope, every rack had at least 8 waiting players. - No barriers to prevent ball-on interference between the 4 adjacent courts. - Restrooms & water located far from the courts. + Decent restrooms though. -- Unfriendly, uncourteous, unsafe ambience: - People seem irritable there. Easily pissed off. - People disrespecting the queue system, cutting ahead of others who've been waiting a long time. - I mentioned my opponent's courtesy violation and he got offended. I could cite the pickleball rulebook, but I was afraid he might hurt me afterward, so instead I fled the vicinity at the earliest safe opportunity.

I wish there was a way to reserve the courts or limit the usage for each court to allow others to have a chance to play too. The City of Buena Park recently hosted Easter 2026 here and it was wonderful. The park was large enough for different set ups. Even though there was a great turn out, there was sufficient room to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. It was nice seeing the park transformed into an event space.

There are multiple tennis courts, basketball courts, handball courts, baseball fields, restrooms, and two kids playgrounds. It also has a swimming pool which is something I don't see often at other parks. The park is also a place for summer camps. There are multiple large grassy areas and during the summer it's used to place outdoor stages for events. During the summer there are free concerts every Wednesday during June and July. This is a really nice and big park that has a lot of amenities.

How have I not given our local park the Yelp treatment yet??!?…read more Lexington was the answer to Oak Knoll being outgrown, we are a city of recreation and competitive sports, and if you build it, we will use it to its fullest potential. Lexington is proof! This park, at its core, is two large sized football/soccer fields that can be divided up for smaller league kid games. One field is natural grass, the other a composite. The entire park is well lit because of the night games that are played there, which makes for an overall inviting and safe experience - and I never see the park empty, it's always in use. Surrounding the fields are a running track that circles the distance of the park, a large playground area, seating for the parents, oh, a large set of bleachers for the FNL and soccer games. A workout area in the back with a circuit style set of arm/leg machines. Pickleball and basketball courts, a general area with covered seating for picnics and gatherings, and a large parking lot area that, although large, can be found filled on busy days. Overall this is a good park and a great addition to our cities lineup. We come here often to do sports or use their other various facilities. :)

I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.

There's a good sized green area as well with a covered bench areas spread throughout. There's also a walking path with a small exercise machine area along the way. There are plenty of things to play on for the kids and lots of space so it never feels crowded. The weather always seems to be great when we go. I love that there is cover so we're not in direct sunlight and we don't have to worry about rain or getting sunburnt. We always try to come here when we're in the area!
