The swings are a little high for 5 year olds to get on and they can't push with their feet.

Great quiet park, clean and lots of places to sit and read in the shade. Even though it's in a Main Street there is a huge gate and kids can run onto Main Street, but it's still quiet. Great park! I just wish the swings weren't soooo high. It's hard for 5-6 year olds to get on them

This park is really cute and little. Good to take your kid on a nice hot day! There is lots of trees you can sit under. Nice for a picnic! There weren't many kids only about 2 so if you want your child to interact with other kids then it may not be your place. The only thing there is no parking lot and you have a choice to park on the street.

Little neighborhood park. No bathrooms but clean and quiet. Did a picnic here and enough trees for shade :)

How have I not given our local park the Yelp treatment yet??!?…read more Lexington was the answer to Oak Knoll being outgrown, we are a city of recreation and competitive sports, and if you build it, we will use it to its fullest potential. Lexington is proof! This park, at its core, is two large sized football/soccer fields that can be divided up for smaller league kid games. One field is natural grass, the other a composite. The entire park is well lit because of the night games that are played there, which makes for an overall inviting and safe experience - and I never see the park empty, it's always in use. Surrounding the fields are a running track that circles the distance of the park, a large playground area, seating for the parents, oh, a large set of bleachers for the FNL and soccer games. A workout area in the back with a circuit style set of arm/leg machines. Pickleball and basketball courts, a general area with covered seating for picnics and gatherings, and a large parking lot area that, although large, can be found filled on busy days. Overall this is a good park and a great addition to our cities lineup. We come here often to do sports or use their other various facilities. :)

My only complaint is the playground is truly geared for older kids 2.5-3years + older. I feel with such a large project, the city of Cypress could have added a few other features to make it friendly for under 3yr olds - it's literally only 1 small slide for the littles - no steering wheel to drive, or any features to fidget with, or twist, turn, pull or other. I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.

Parking was very limited at that time, so plan ahead if you're going early. Clearly, a lot of people know this is the spot for a serious workout. The stairs themselves are brutal in the best way possible. After about three rounds, my legs were completely done--but it's such an effective workout. This place really gets your cardio in fast, and you feel accomplished every time you finish a round. The views along the way make it even more worth it. We also came back later in the day around 5:30 PM. It starts to get a bit dark around that time, so that's something to keep in mind, but it's still a great experience and totally worth it. Overall, if you're looking for a challenging, fun, and effective outdoor workout, Hillcrest Park stairs deliver every time. Just be ready for sore legs and limited parking during peak hours.

The playground area is great for all ages my kids had a blast and didn't want to leave. The lake area with the little church in the background is a nice touch, makes it feel more relaxing and not just your typical park. Good walking paths, plenty of grass, and nice spots to just sit and chill. Everything felt well kept and safe, which is a big plus when you're bringing kids. Plenty of room so it didn't feel overcrowded either. Only thing watch out for duck poop on the walkways and grass, especially near the water. Overall, great spot for families. Definitely coming back
