This place is great! There is a solid train theme going throughout the playground area but it also provides a nice variety of structures geared towards different ages. Bathrooms are clean enough and decently well stocked. Parents can grab a seat on one of many benches and there is good visibility as the kids run from area to area. There are baby and regular swings, and one big flat disk that you can lay down on. There are also spider web ropes for climbing. The softball fields are great for running the bases in between games, or flying a kite in the outfield. We tend to come in the evenings when it's cold so we haven't had a chance to use the splash pad but the structures in the area are still available for climbing. It's a great park, very clean and pleasant. However, I was just there doing an evening walk and there was a person smoking by the baseball field despite there being signs stating that smoking is prohibited. Mind you there was a baseball game going on so there were a lot of children present. read more

Nice kid playground with shade. We always take our kids here for the splash pad during summer. They have shade covered which is what i like the most. A kid playground is right next to the splash pad which is a bonus. It was recently remodeled so everything is still new. read more

It's a really nice park with a lot of activities that you can partake in. Huge train themed playground for the kids, splash pad, tennis courts, basketball, baseball field, etc. Also, a lot of exercise machines all around the park for you to use. Nicely maintained and very clean and it's a really nice place to hang out, have a picnic, or just go for a walk or run. If you are at the park to watch a baseball game, just be careful parking in the overflow parking lot along the first base line. What a great find! There aren't a lot of "nice" new parks in Stanton/Garden Grove, but this is one of them. The grass area is quite big and there is a nice paved trail that goes around the entire park (I'm thinking it is about half a mile long). Along the trail there are exercise stations that all seem to be in good condition. The children's playground area is sizable. There are also a lot of picnic tables with shade, as well as a community center, skatepark, tennis courts, and two half-court basketball courts. Overall the park seemed very well-kept, clean, and most importantly, safe! (Didn't see any suspicious activity or homeless -- I would feel comfortable brining my kids here or coming alone.) When I went, there were a lot of young families and a few dog walkers. It was pretty mellow. There are public restrooms. Plenty of parking and there are also two ChargePoint EV chargers for $0.20/kwh. FYI - when you pull into the park, there is only one way in/out, so make sure you don't miss the entrance, otherwise you have to loop back around. read more

Beautiful park. There's definitely something for everyone. There's lots of parking, charging stations, and an extra parking lot. There's a skate park, picnic tables, young child playground and a bigger kid playground. In the hot times, there's a splash pad. There's a huge grassy field, rope climbing, swings, zip liner etc. This park was made to perfection. It's a beautiful addition to the city. There's even vending machines to grab some snacks from. The only down side to all of this is that because the park is so great, it's always tremendously crowded. But if you don't mind huge crowds, give it a try. read more

It is a nice clean park with a skate park and a nice area for walking around the whole perimeter of the park. It's very enjoyable there.

we went to this park for memorial day celebration and it was such a big hit. They have big gazebos with a ton of benches for parties and barbecue and everything and they even have the plugs but you have to reserve and I think you might have to pay to actually use them cause of some liability or something Overall, this park is super fun and very fun for all ages it was such a beautiful day. It was perfect. They have workout stuff on the side walk. They have a splash pad. They have this huge park field of grass that you could do so many games like soccer or kickball flying a kite like we did it was just really awesome. definitely will be coming back here if we are in the area and maybe possibly make a tradition out of it ! totally recommend this park! read more

This park/community center is really cool with lots to offer. Four different kid play areas, 1) large jungle gym with swings, 2) small kids jungle gym, 3) rope/rock play climbing area, and 4) what seems to be a splash area (wasn't on when we went, so not sure when it's turned on). There is a large field with walking path with tables and benches on the back side; some tables have checker/chess table tops. The field is set up for softball or baseball, however you could probably have other sports too. A cute little work out area at the back of the park. There are pavilion areas for parties. Then top it all off with a skate park. The park and play areas are also really well maintained. Based on the happiness level of all the kids running around, this place is a hit. My nieces and nephew love this park. They have been here many times and it's one of their favorite parks. However, today we experienced other kids being mean to them. I told them to be the bigger person and walk away, which they did. I didn't think anything of it. Then I noticed the other kids kept instigating then started saying racist remarks and flipping off my nieces and nephew (who are 6-11 years old). I spoke to their parents and their parents were no better. They kept deflecting the conversation and took no responsibility. This left an incredibly bad taste for all of us. I told the parents that we're all here for a fun and respectful time- it is never appropriate for kids to flip each other off and say racist things. They just brushed it off and didn't even bother paying attention to their kids. My nephew was really upset, so we left right after. I hope to never see these parents again. read more

Clean and nice theme park. There is a big kid area plus little kids area. The splash area is also on during summer times. There really is something for everyone, swings, playground with over 3 levels- slides , climbing rocks and a rope course. The train theme is cute as well. If the kiddos get board you can walk along a walkway around the baseball fields- plus work out gear is located along the trail. Oh and tennis courts plus skate park is there too. Parking has never been a problem for us however I can imagine it being a bit of a problem during summer months. The park is clean, friendly and fun for all ages. Only disadvantage is that it is a very large park and area. It is hard to see the kids playing in the bigger areas if your attention is on the little tots area. read more

I've always liked this park. Clean, organized, and larger than it seems from the outside (street view). The kids' playground is nice and train-themed. The grass area is large and spread out. There's a walk path around the grass area that is dog-friendly. Their covered areas for rent are perfect for parties too. It's a go-to spot for our family gatherings and parties. Parking is good too. But if there are multiple parties at the same time that are all large, it can get a little tight, but I've never had a problem thus far. Overall, great park to go to on the weekends. read more

Great skatepark and park! Lots of memories. Me and my brother, and friends go here. The skatepark is really nice and fun. However there could be some upgrades (I'd personally recommend beginner size ramped for beginners who skateboard and use their scooter would be really fun. Also adding ground rails since some of us can't jump that good. The skatepark could use some paint jobs and overall I would swap the concrete with wood so it looks nicer. There is kinda some graffiti on the concrete but it's really small and fades away. Now, back to the park, the park is really nice and has a train design. Inside the train are 2 slides, a long yellow one and a small one. Here's the thing in the Long yellow slide kids like to go up it, and you can't tell if they're in there which leads to them hitting each other. (Had this problem) the park has a nice baseball area and grass area however the kids at the park can be annoying since they're born in like 2017. The park also has these nets which can be fun to get across while doing parkour and just balancing. Also, the park has a... well it's hard to say but imagine a circle wooden area with 4 ropes hanging on. Like a tire rope u can push with it to. It even has a WATERPARK there, unfortunately that's where the rude kids come in they will ask you to do something like sit down in the water and if you don't they curse you out and make up lies to here brother/sister to annoy you, I had this exact problem with my ex best friend. The park has 2 exercise areas which are kinda small but nice. It even has 4 pickleball/tennis courts there too, it even has a basketball area with 2 courts (half courts) but they are double rim which is annoying. Again the skatepark is nice but can have injury's if you don't know what you're doing. OVERALL THIS PARK IS THE BEST!! read more

So one of my OC friends lived out in 'Stanton,' CA for awhile before she moved again to Orange. We decided to stroll through this local park right by her apartment one weekend afternoon after meeting up at her apartment complex. This is a nice, quiet park to take an afternoon stroll with your friends if you are in the area. We were also on our way ordering our lunch take out from a local KBBQ restaurant in Stanton, CA. Been out here a few times with my kids for some time at the park. Place isn't too old and has a lot to offer for the kids. They have a few options for toddler to teens to keep busy and for them to have fun doing what kids do. A kicker is that on summer time the have a water area for kids to play and have fun too. Whats cool is that they have a Community Center here and that helps keep the park clean and operational also. Parking is great with a good size and gated lot after operating hours. Bathrooms are clean for what it is as its a public park. Overall cool park and will be bringing my girls back in the future. read more

There's rock climbing stations with a spider web climbing course, great skate park for beginners that's wide open and not too crowded. Great park if you have kids. It has one of the best playgrounds I've seen. The locomotive theme is very cool, and seems to be an homage to Pacific Electric Railway running through the city back in the days. There are two playgrounds, one for kids 2-5 years of age, and the big locomotive playground for kids 5-12 years of age. There's even a water splash area but it's currently turned off. The most unique part about this park is it has a separate skate park on the opposite side. It's nothing crazy but it's still something, and definitely more than what I had access to when I used to skate. There's plenty of parking, and park is fairly large if you take into account the large grass area behind the playgrounds. There's half size basketball courts, tennis courts, an exercise trail, picnic shelters, and sports field. Website also indicates Butterfly Garden but I don't recall seeing it. Park still looks fairly new and clean. It does get a bit crowded on weekends, but the crowd seems somewhat disbursed by different amenities it provides, so it hasn't been too crowded on my recent visits. read more
