    Craig at bat...

Craig's softball game in Irvine, California... On Tuesday night, July 2, 2019, the last game of the season was held at Harvard Skate Park. This is a gigantic park with lots of parking, a convenient restroom, safe walkways, and good lighting. Craig's game was at Field 5. There was a three leveled set of aluminum bleachers right next to the dugout. My friends and I enjoyed cheering with our pompoms, clappers, and bubbles! Hee hee! I wouldn't mind going again! Note: bring mosquito repellent as a precaution

This is a tiny little park. I'm gonna be honest I did not see one skateboarder here . This is a scooters spot . A lot of moms and young kids.

Automatic 5 stars because I finally caught a Snorlax today and it was here at this park! Otherwise, plenty of parking throughout the park. A lot of fields or baseball games. Also theres a skatepark.

Está muy incompleto en la parte inferior de las rampas. Es plano. Si tienes un niño en el scooter, no vayas aquí.

Literally the worst skate park I've ever been to, transition is dangerous and not built properly. Huge cracks at the bottom of every ramp

Parking is good. We had baseball tryouts here today and the baseball fields were well maintained and the dougouts were clean.

My toddler is advanced and can do playgrounds no problem but thing thing is literally for kids 7 and up. Even then it's so dangerous because there's way too many ways to fall off the play set. They do have a "toddler area" which is a small wood playhouse and wood/rope climbing area. And even that I wouldn't let my little one near because it's too easy for her to fall onto wood logs edge and get cut. Just very poor bad "modern" design. We only go cause it's walking distance and even then it's work because I'm constantly watching my daughter to make sure she doesn't fall off. Nothing enclosed at all. Truly dislike this playground for kids under 7. We've gone 7+ times and I never see kids climb to top of this playground or anything. Such a waste. Would rather make the drive to Heritage or Tustin Sports Park or literally any other park.

Once you walk over the play area you can see that they have some really awesome and different play equipment. I liked that. There was some rubbish in various areas of the park. The older kids area is shaded, but unfortunately come 10am the little play area with the yellow and blue structure is right in the sun. There's also an area for very young kids and that was shaded. There are no swings. It's a little out of my way to come here, so I won't be back in a hurry. There are toilets.

Hands down one of the cleanest, most convenient parks in the Irvine area!…read more There are several baseball fields, tons of gated tennis courts, playgrounds for the kids, countless picnic areas that are numbered for parties and gatherings. I think what makes this park stand out is the crowd. Any park can be beautiful but, without the proper maintenance from the park crew (and most importantly the park goers) it doesn't stand a chance. You see tons of regulars here with their dogs, families, kids. Everyone is friendly and respectful of one another. The dog crowd at this park is also one of the best I've seen. Although the park is not off leash, there's wide open areas for you to allow your fur family to play catch, run around, and have a bit of freedom! They do have a couple of posts that have doggie bags however, they run out quick so please do come prepared with your own poop bags just in case! There are plenty of water fountains throughout with water filling stations attached, so don't forget a bowl for your fur family!!

There were quite a few cars in the lot already. However, we didn't see a lot of people milling around as the park covers quite an extensive area. The park features a flower garden with a fountain near its center. Beyond that are several picnic shelters amidst an elaborate children's playground. Further on, there is a large expanse of grass area amidst soccer fields, base ball diamond and tennis courts. There are paved walk paths through out the complex that winds up and down the various terrains. Overall it's a nice place to enjoy a leisure walk!

Avoid being alone on the trail or be cautious because many homeless camps have been on the trail. The benches need cleaning and definitely avoid the steel looking benches. The pool definitely should be open more than it currently is to attract consistent activity. It looks like the city is trying to pay more attention to the park after the pickleball courts. The football field is exclusive to schools. The tennis courts and volleyball courts see considerable use during the weekend. The volleyball community will kick you off the court even if the "other guys haven't arrived". I saw a patrol car on the trail investigating some of the homeless camps under the bridges. Anywhere but investigating the ones in the park.
