Bought a ramp from OC Ramps with the promise it would be shipped in 5 days. By the time I realized their vague wording actually meant "Leaves the factory in 5 days" it didn't matter because it still hadn't left the factory a week later. Fast forward to 30 or so days later and the ramp is set to be delivered today. All is well until I get a call that the delivery company can't make it up to my house, his truck is too big. Note: Not every neighborhood can accommodate an 18 wheeler. Since I couldn't accommodate the delivery truck's window for a 2nd attempt the shipping company sent the ramp back to OC Ramps, informing me that I'd have to call them and schedule a new delivery. For better or worse in this waiting period my son hurts his ankle, aggravates an old injury. He decides maybe he doesn't want this (phantom) ramp after all. That's fine I think and call to cancel the order. They want me to pay $340 for shipping. That's a lot but ok, and oh yeah that's just cost for shipping TO my house. They also want me to pay return shipping. But wait, it was already returned to you guys, because delivery fell through because of the wrong truck guy. No you have to pay return shipping. AND IT WILL COST OVER $600. You guys are crazy, why would you have me pay this? It was already returned. Also, that's a questionably high shipping cost for a palette of wood. No you have to pay it. You have to pay $1000 in total for shipping costs on a ramp it took us a month to not actually deliver to you, a ramp that incidentally has already been returned because of a screw up by our delivery company. Add to that some disappointing customer service encounters and yeah these guys actually get no stars from me. $1000 delivery costs for a ramp they took a month to never actually deliver. OC Ramps is awesome. Tyler, the owner, and his crew were top notch in helping us pick out the ramp best suited for our family. We have skated so many OC Ramp products while living in So Cal and we missed having access to our friends ramps when we moved to Idaho. We wanted to order/build one in our shop so we could use it year round. Tyler actually talked us into going a size smaller then we wanted to, saving us a good chunk of money and in the end the ramp fits perfect while still a great size for me and the boys. I was about to purchase the expensive skatelite material as well but again Tyler told us to save the money since it was going to be inside year round. I don't know of two many owners these days that would pass on upselling two big ticket items (Size and Skatelite). Assembly was super easy... boys invited all their friends and screwguns. BUYER BEWARE: these ramps are NOT completely pre-drilled. Only the plywood is pre-drilled, but the 50+ 2x4s and 2x3s are not. Instructions are extremely vague. The coping is cheap and thin, and your trucks will stick. I replaced their cheap coping with schedule 40 carbon steel which grinds like butter. If you're on the fence about whether to order a kit or build it yourself, save yourself thousands of dollars and a massive headache and do it yourself. There are more than enough miniramp plans online. The minor inconvenience of making a few trips to Home Depot is worth it. read more

I called these guys to see if they would build a 6ft tall quarter to flat wedge combo. They said because I was not building an entire skatepark they would not do it. Sounds like they are lazy and just don't want to do the work. What's funny is there add on YouTube is all about pre cutting and pre drilling supplies to deliver it straight to your doorstep for you to easily assemble it. These dudes are probably a bunch of old school skaters that hate on everyone else like bmx and scooters. And if you read other reviews it sounds like they are racist also I wouldn't doubt it. My advice get plans and build it yourself it has more meaning when you put your own blood sweat and tears into it. read more

be careful when ordering products from OCRamps - be sure to over look every piece that get delievered to you the service for OCramps and return policy is the absolute worst. I lost 735$ to chipped skatelite that they wont return, and they wont file a claim with the freight company. Very unprofessional and I was going to use them to expand my ramp but i will never Do that with this company with the customer service i've experienced already. I've had many email conversations with the president of the company to try and resolve this but he simply states i'm "Sh*t outta luck" i will also continue to spread the word of what horrible customer service they provide. About two years ago I bought a 6' quarter-pipe for my oldest son. It was super easy to put together. My son and his friends skate on it every day, and it's still in great shape. Now that my youngest son is skating I bought a 8' half-pipe at the beginning of the summer. Again, the ramp was easy to put together and it's super high quality. I'm loving my OC Ramps Garage Mini Ramp. I'm a 48 year old mom who quit skateboarding 15+ years ago and has recently come back with renewed stoke! Can't comment on the long term, but there are somethings that I didn't like about the installation. One, I could not find the instructions online, why not is beyond me and, because they are buried in the pallet upon which the things is shipped, one can't plan one's approach. That could, and did for me, result in moving many of the components twice. I will have a hard time forgiving them for that. I would revise the instructions to suggest not putting the top on each end and the grind rail on until the final steps. I instructions are vague about a single layer installation. They screws they supply are phillips head, which is not right for this application, they should be square drive or hex, or torx. These phillips head screws often cammed out and would not seat as well as others. Expensive for what it is. Quality of material is fine, but for those who might put it on the ground expect it to rot soon if not place on pressure treated base. read more

Worse experience ever with an online retailer. The other bad reviews are spot on, the owner of the company Tyler is a complete and total Jerk. And very unprofessional. The return policy is the worse ever, be prepared to pay more than half the cost of the ramp you buy just to return it. We bought two ramps, one arrived damaged. We could not get the replacement parts in time for me to build it before Christmas so we returned it. My son decided at Christmas he didn't want the second ramp without the other. Something about wanting to setup a mini park with the two together. We asked to return the second ramp thinking they would return it no hassle since the other had to be returned. Tyler belittled me and refused to pickup the ramp unless I agreed to pay $120+ shipping plus 30% restocking fee. Basically I would be credited $54 for a $249 ramp.
