I walked laps and laps around the 8 courts seeking the shortest queue. Nope, every rack had at least 8 waiting players. - No barriers to prevent ball-on interference between the 4 adjacent courts. - Restrooms & water located far from the courts. + Decent restrooms though. -- Unfriendly, uncourteous, unsafe ambience: - People seem irritable there. Easily pissed off. - People disrespecting the queue system, cutting ahead of others who've been waiting a long time. - I mentioned my opponent's courtesy violation and he got offended. I could cite the pickleball rulebook, but I was afraid he might hurt me afterward, so instead I fled the vicinity at the earliest safe opportunity. read more

The park renovation is impressive which reopened in May 2025. I remember this park was so dated and not as inviting. But with all the new additions, resurfacing, and more, I'm sure more people will be excited to use this park. I've visited here a few times already to walk the track and get in a workout in the outdoor fitness zone. There's plenty to offer at this local park. Baseball/softball fields, batting cages, eight pickleball courts, one volleyball court, one basketball court, playgrounds for kids of all ages, a marked walking/jogging track around the park--one lap is 1/2 a mile. There's plenty of parking as well as EV charging spots. I noticed that there needs to be more benches or seating areas available for resting or relaxing around the park. Hopefully, that could be updated. Shaded bleachers next to the pickleball courts are also nice. There are also some covered picnic tables. I will look into the details soon if it's first-come, first-served or by reservations only. Looking forward to visiting this park more! read more

We love this park. This park is a serene oasis with a lucious greenery clean environment. There's a basketball and tennis courts, area you can walk, and a workout station. Kids can enjoy open spaces to run and play, with my son spending the day on the zipline, swings, and playing soccer with other kids. I'm like the last person in Cypress to finally come see the newly renovated Arnold Cypress Park! That said, it's wonderful! Well lit with lots of softball fields, play areas, meeting areas, general greenbelt areas, lots of running paths, etc. We did a Cub Scout event here for Veterans Day, and it worked out perfectly! Lots of seating for the kids to listen to the speakers, plenty of area for them to play, plenty of area for them to pick up trash and do some community service time, and again, the lighting - great lighting! What a great park all around! Came to check out the playground because we're always looking for new playgrounds to explore. This park has a toddler and big kid side. It just opened in May 2025. I can remember driving by a few times wondering what they were building and they built a great looking park. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, baseball fields, playgrounds and even a track around the whole park. If you are in the area and have a kids or just want to get some exercise yourself, I recommend checking this park out. read more

Not sure what this park looked like before the renovation but it looks great now. Been coming here with my family quite regularly after the remodel was finished. It's an activity park with several pickleball courts, basketball, volleyball, softball, and fitness area. The pickleball court is the most popular area and is always completely packed. I've never seen an open court since I've been coming here. Kids playground is also great. This place has a small zipline, which I haven't seen at other playgrounds. Plenty of parking around each section of the park The park has so many offerings Plenty of charging stations in different areas and accessible parking spots Plenty of benches and sitting areas Greenery well kept clean plenty of open spaces Plenty of pickle ball courts, few basketball courts, place for volleyball, batting practice cages multiple sizes, multiple fields, multiple fitness equipment to work with, dog friendly park and bags, walking track that .5 miles but note it is cement and not clay, swing area, and multiple playgrounds Felt safe walking alone and just lot of laughter and good vibes in the air. City of Cypress did a BEAUTIFUL job with the renovation! We moved out of the area but come back a couple times a year to visit and had seen it under construction. Today was our first chance to walk around the park. The playground area is absolutely charming, the new baseball fields are gorgeous, they have tons of parking, we love their choices for landscaping, and we're super impressed by the picnic/BBQ areas! I just pray the residents and visitors are respectful and help keep the park beautiful! read more

The brand new Cypress park is so clean, expansive, and beautiful. We arrived to have a picnic by the playground and the shelter and tables were clean and large enough to fit everyone. The equipment was colorful, fun, and had space for a lot of kids. I can't wait to watch the softball/baseball games on the beautiful green fields. My son loves playing Pickleball and Wiffleball on the front side and back of the park. Thank you for recreating a place close to home where the kids and adults can play, rest, and eat comfortably. read more

Arnold Park's renovation makes it such a great addition to the community! It's now fairly new and has so many things to do for both kids and adults. The biggest win here: SHADE! There are lots of shaded areas around the kids' playground, which makes it perfect for hosting an outdoor party or just hanging out without baking in the sun. The playground itself is brand new with tons of features to keep kids entertained, and the bouncy, safe flooring gives parents peace of mind. My kids especially loved the zipline and the conveyor-style play structures -- super fun and unique. There's even an outdoor gym if you feel like squeezing in a workout while the kids are playing or between sports. Overall, this is a fantastic park to bring your kids, let them burn off energy, and enjoy the outdoors. So happy they renovated and reopened this for the local community -- highly recommend! read more

Arnold Cypress Park is a solid local park! I don't spend much time in Cypress, but as I have recently picked up pickleball, my friends introduced me to this park. It's almost a hidden gem! There are both big and small parking lots, as well as street parking. You'll find plenty of space for soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, and a playground. Additionally, there is a picnic area, but I have seen transients sleeping under a table or two. Right in the center of the park is an old roller derby/hockey rink that has now been converted into six pickleball courts! There are tons of regulars that come, and they always have music playing. It's a good mix of families, college students, older adults, and very serious players. I do find that it can be tough to play here for newbies, but if you come with enough friends, then you can claim a court for beginners that the better players may stay away from. Is the community here welcoming? It varies. I've met some lovely people, while there are a number of others who will stick to the more advanced players and scoff at you if you're not up to par. I do like to see that there are neighborhoods surrounding the park, and I'm actually surprised there haven't been noise complaints. Thanks for being cool, Cypress people! #ThankYouThursday read more

I visit this park sometimes to play pickleball with some friends. These courts are on what was previously a hockey/roller derby rink. There are six courts total which is nice, but the layout is quite chaotic. There are no fences between courts so balls are constantly coming into your game. If you are in the middle courts, it is much worse because balls are coming from both north and south sides. People attempted to put pvc pipes around the middle of the hockey rink so that people aren't frantically chasing their balls on the opposite side of the rink. It helps some but if you're playing with slammers, be prepared to do a lot of running. I also think the spacing of the courts is poor. When serving, I felt that the players behind us were very close and at times we almost ran into each other. These courts have been around since the pandemic and they still don't really have a good system for players to rotate. They now have some paddle holders next to the courts, which I think helps some but they really should put up some court guidelines so that players can all get a fair chance to pick up games. Other parks have worked with their community members to help establish these rules, so it is something the city of Cypress should consider. read more

This review includes one for Pokemon trainers and a general park review. The park is very clean and spacious. There weren't a lot of people when we arrived. It has two baseball fields and a kiddie playground. There is a lot of grass area, which is nice for kite flying or frisbee playing. There's a picnic area with a grill and a cover over the tables, nice for keeping cool during the summer. For Pokemon trainers, this location is the second spot for Squirtle sightings. The Fullerton Arboretum has more Squirtles but this park is nice if you want to avoid a lot of people. There weren't a lot of Squirtles but you'll find at least a couple in an hour. I've seen them spawn around the baseball fields. read more

I live across the street from the park and I really like it. I'm planning to have my daughter's birthday in the pavillion area. There are 22 gtables and the cost is only $25 for the entire day. Well lighted with many park goers. I often see the police patroling by just to ensure everything is fine. Many families and youth sports go to this park. Check it out. read more

I play roller derby and we practice here often. The rink is GREAT. I would have given 5 stars if the lights would come on EVERY time they have been paid for. (And, no, I am not on the leagues board of anything...just a frustrated player that hates practicing in the dark....or rather, not practicing...) have never used the baseball field but it looks great and maintained too. Not a horrible park but not great either. I have two toddlers and we usually stick to the playground or the empty field in the back. Biggest complaints are the cleanliness, the sand in the playground, and the lack of paths to get places. The playground is a mess that hasn't been cleaned or updated. There scratched tags everywhere. The sand in the playground is also home to fire ants and sand bees. Paths only come from central picnic area or from rear parking lot. But there is about 75% of the park that is inaccessible by pathway. I know it's not the city's job, but the high school kids come and play on the playgrounds/swings and don't use any discretion with profanity around other kids. read more
