We love this park. This park is a serene oasis with a lucious greenery clean environment. There's a basketball and tennis courts, area you can walk, and a workout station. Kids can enjoy open spaces to run and play, with my son spending the day on the zipline, swings, and playing soccer with other kids. With spacious parking and restrooms, plenty of places to sit, it's a truly family friendly.

Paid to rent the pavilion and this was what I walked up to, few moments ground crew came and just blow the whole area into the grass, nothing was wash / pressure washed, really sad for being a brand new park to not have a real cleaning crew to clean for a renters event.

I'm like the last person in Cypress to finally come see the newly renovated Arnold Cypress Park! That said, it's wonderful! Well lit with lots of softball fields, play areas, meeting areas, general greenbelt areas, lots of running paths, etc. We did a Cub Scout event here for Veterans Day, and it worked out perfectly! Lots of seating for the kids to listen to the speakers, plenty of area for them to play, plenty of area for them to pick up trash and do some community service time, and again, the lighting - great lighting! Easy to see and keep track of everyone!

What a great park all around! Came to check out the playground because we're always looking for new playgrounds to explore. This park has a toddler and big kid side. It just opened in May 2025. I can remember driving by a few times wondering what they were building and they built a great looking park. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, baseball fields, playgrounds and even a track around the whole park. If you are in the area and have a kids or just want to get some exercise yourself, I recommend checking this park out.

Renovation is amazing. So many fields & spots for many different kinds of sports. Enjoyed walking the path and plenty of areas to rest.

5 stars for a nice rubber track!…read more As an active walker/ runner, I am regularly seeking parks with a track. This was a serendipitous find on the way home from work. Features - The park has ample parking, 1 basketball court (which is also used for pickleball), 2 fitness zones with 10+ different workout equipment , park benches, coal pits, soccer field, padded track, and children's play area. It is very well maintained / clean and the biggest bonus is the rubberized track for me. There's also doggy poop bags too, in case you're walking your dog and forget! You can easily find walkers at 7am here which provides a relatively safe exercise environment. The only possible drawbacks I see is - 1) there is minimal shade, and 2) it is right by horse sables (it is next to the horse race track) 3) the track is relatively small (less than 0.5 miles a lap).

My only complaint is the playground is truly geared for older kids 2.5-3years + older. I feel with such a large project, the city of Cypress could have added a few other features to make it friendly for under 3yr olds - it's literally only 1 small slide for the littles - no steering wheel to drive, or any features to fidget with, or twist, turn, pull or other. I guess it was the last thing in their budget. All in all, it is a huge upgrade to the city of Cypress and we love walking here and that they have doggy bags for when our pupp finds a couple potty spots.

Parking was very limited at that time, so plan ahead if you're going early. Clearly, a lot of people know this is the spot for a serious workout. The stairs themselves are brutal in the best way possible. After about three rounds, my legs were completely done--but it's such an effective workout. This place really gets your cardio in fast, and you feel accomplished every time you finish a round. The views along the way make it even more worth it. We also came back later in the day around 5:30 PM. It starts to get a bit dark around that time, so that's something to keep in mind, but it's still a great experience and totally worth it. Overall, if you're looking for a challenging, fun, and effective outdoor workout, Hillcrest Park stairs deliver every time. Just be ready for sore legs and limited parking during peak hours.

There are 400+ steps to climb up and down. The steps are made of timber but could be wet and slippery from early morning dew, so I feel that a late morning trek is better when the stairs are dry. On my second visit, I went around 6 PM. Although the stairs are well lit, I just did not feel safe. I found myself alone at one point and looking behind me, checking if someone is coming out of the dark bushes. Maybe it's just me... But overall, if you would like to hit your 10K steps and/or your target heart rate, this is a fun way to go!

Good walking paths, plenty of grass, and nice spots to just sit and chill. Everything felt well kept and safe, which is a big plus when you're bringing kids. Plenty of room so it didn't feel overcrowded either. Only thing watch out for duck poop on the walkways and grass, especially near the water. Overall, great spot for families. Definitely coming back
