Subject: Feedback on My Recent Experience Dear Store Manager, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience during my recent visit to your store while looking for a pair of pants (34 waist, 33 length) for my brother's friend. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the desired size, and the only option available was a 34 waist and 32 length. While I understand that inventory can be limited, I was quite taken aback by a salesperson's reaction when I placed the pants on the folding table to take a picture to send it to my brother. The sales lady rudely asked me to remove the pants, stating, "I'm using the table." While I appreciate that your employees have tasks to do, a little customer-centric behavior goes a long way, especially in retail, which is so competitive. I ended up purchasing the pants, even with a 40% discount, totaling $88.80 plus tax. As someone who has worked in retail, I always strive to create a positive experience for customers, and I believe it's vital for your team to receive similar training. Not really a jeans person as I grew out of that phase as the search for that right fit does play a major role where the fit is difficult. Once having a larger store above Louis Vuitton they now reopened on the mall level near Apple in a size much smaller probably half the size from the former location. Having to still see what they have to offer it seems much different for some maybe a bad way as it's much smaller in the selection and varieties I find it refreshing making way for probably the items that sell best is what I assume as keeping the entire inventory is a challenge for that perfect fit. What I did see is a selected styles and accessories including patches you can choose to personalize your items which are iron-on and yes they do it for you which I'm also told that some Hawai'i patches are coming soon...oo!! Not pictured also are buttons in different colors that they're able so swap is another super fun and cool touch to make it literally all your own. Service here is nice as they didn't hover over me yet when I had a question answered it promptly not pushing me on sales or what I'm looking for and these personal touches has me rethinking of items I can do that here... Levi's is finally open at Ala Moana. Service wasn't that great. I walked in and there were four associates standing around. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I don't even think they saw me even though the store is small. They had some pretty nice clothing items. I didn't know that they sold dresses. Almost half the store was on sale for 60% off. You can get some good deals if you go now. read more

Once upon a time, Levi's had a nice, big store in the mid-section of AMC, but they closed for some reason. After a short hiatus, they're back, now in a more prime location on level two near Macy's. The new store is a lot smaller, a lot brighter, but unfortunately with a lot less inventory than before. The selection of men's jeans was pathetically sad. They definitely had the 501 line and I believe one other line but were styles I don't wear, so my shopping stopped. 511's are my preferred number. OVERALL: You'd think the offerings in a corporate store would be plentiful but, no. Even Macy's a few feet away has a broader selection. My choice store is still their outlet in Waikele. read more

Don't walk in here if you have tattoos and wear baggy clothes, as the person who I think was the manager (stubby Asian woman) will stalk you and irritatingly ask you if you need sizes then proceed to tell you that you won't like the fit of pants without even letting you open them up and judge for yourself. If you're reading this, manager woman, I was just in there with my son and your customer service sucks. read more

I was in the market for some new jeans, normally I buy jeans from like Old Navy, but since they didn't have the ones I liked, my wife recommended that we go to Levi's. I know they're a bit expensive, but I saw that they had a sale going on and thought I'd give it a shot. Looked around for a bit and someone asked if I needed help and told him I needed a a particular style of jeans. The guy (African American), didn't catch his name, happily asked what size I needed and even showed me some clearance ones. He checked out about 7 different styles for me to see if they had my size, BUT of course they didn't have the size I needed (35x30). I watched as he helped me and 2 other customers while checking the computer for my size. He always let me know that he was still searching for my size in different styles. In the end, I walked out without buying anything, but the customer service was just excellent. I would've gladly pay for higher priced jeans just cause the customer service was top notch! +1 Levi's Ala Moana! Keep up with the good customer service. read more

My husband only buys Levi's jeans. I asked him why and he said because it's the original and best denim brand. I always thought it was pricey, but when it came time for me to buy new jeans, I figured why not try it out? I've never spent so much on jeans before, but it is proving to be well worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted by all of the workers. I believe there were three of them at the time: two guys and a girl. They let us browse a bit before offering any assistance, which I liked. One of the guys came by and asked if I knew what style I was looking for and I told him that I had no idea, haha... He then suggested getting measured and told me that it would help me find the right fit. I accepted, so he called the girl to measure me (don't know if it's company protocol, but I thought it was very nice and professional of him to do). The girl's measurements were spot on and it turns out I'm a demi cut! I tried a pair on and it was a perfect fit :) It was the most comfortable and form-flattering jeans I had ever worn. I tried on other colors and ended up buying three pairs of jeans-- one in each color. The other guy, who was working the register was very knowledgeable and informative. While he rang us up, I had asked why I had ended up fitting different sizes even though the jeans were all the same cut. He proceeded to answer my question with confidence and expertise. I learned a lot about denim that day in such a short amount of time. I loved the jeans I bought so much that a few weeks later when I was at the Waikele Outlet Mall, I visited the Levi's Store there and also bought three pairs of shorts. Levi's is officially my favorite brand of denim! I guess my husband was right afterall... read more

When their jeans are on sale, they're on sale. I stopped by a few days ago and nearly all of their women's jeans were 50 % off. Many of their men's items were also marked down just as much. The sales associates here are super helpful. They'll ask what kind of jeans you're looking for and pull out pairs that they think you might like. I took about 7 pairs with me to the dressing room, though I only bought 1. The man who helped me (he's got long blonde-ish hair) has been very nice each time I've dropped in. You can count on the associates here to check up on you and how the jeans fit. If you need more sizes, they'll get them for you and you won't have to wait. (Here's looking at you folks over at J. I never cared about the quality of a pair of jeans before, but after making a trip to the Levi's Store in Ala Moana it has changed my perception on quality and customer service for buying clothing. I was looking for jeans that fit better than the ones I had at the time, so my friend suggest I check out Levi's. So we went down there. As I walk in were were greeted. I'm the type of person who likes to check things out to get comfortable with a store. Another sales associate told me about a special they had- spend $150 and get $50 off or spend $250 and get a $100 dollars off. He was polite, so I said thank you, while thinking to myself I am not gonna spend anywhere near that. I grabbed a few pairs of pants I thought might be good and then a sales associate asked me if I needed any help. I told him I was looking for a specific size and so he checked. He came back with the jeans I asked and also suggested the 513's. I said ok, and wanted to try it on. He showed me the dressing room. After trying the on the second pair of pants, he asked me how am I doing. I was surprised a little and said I was fine. He asked me how the pants were fitting and I told him the 513's were a good choice. He suggested other pants and put it over the door. He was awesome at his job. He was able to figure out what I wanted and new enough about the clothes to make me excited about buying pants. As I figured out what exactly I wanted it totaled to $300. I wasn't upset or worried. I was really satisfied with my purchase, especially with the $100 off. That made me go back a second time when they had a 50% off sale. I bought 2 more pairs. The only thing I like about the Levi store is that once in a while they'll have shirts with stars on it. I don't know about their jeans though... I don't own a pair now... The staff there are really friendly though. Very nice feel to their store~ read more

I've owned only one pair of Levi's jeans in my whole life. They're big, baggy, and really well made. I got them at a Ross back on the mainland for a lucky clearance price of $25. Even though that was almost a decade ago, they're still going strong. I have to admit though, I don't really wear them here often (it's just too hot). Through the years I was more of a sweatpants or Miller's Outpost $25 jeans guy (Yeah, Miller's Outpost. That's late '90's for those of you keeping score). Levi's were just expensive and it was many years later that I was able to procure my first pair of pants first marketed to California's old 49er's. This specific store has got that dark and scheme going on inside. The girlfriend was looking for a specific kind of jean skirt (more of a pencil-ish), but the ones they had were all pretty short. I was never a jeans snob. I used to just go down to Sears, long before there ever was a store just for Levi's, and buy pairs of 501 blue jeans in progressively larger sizes as high school transitioned into college into post-college. But then girlfriends came and went, and more than a few of them tried (with varying degrees of success) to get me to wear a different kind of denim, like Lucky Brand or True Religion. And that was all fine and dandy for a while, but since the economy has refused to get up off the mat for four years now, I've had to go back to the beginning. Luckily for me, there are dozens of different Levi styles now. 501, 505, 508, 510, 511, 513, 514, 517, 520, 527...etc. While that array of jeans now lets them approximate the cut, style, and fabric of jeans sold at other, more expensive stores, the one thing Levi's can't duplicate is service. Maybe it's because the retail associates here are constantly passing through a revolving door, are bored college students, or simply don't earn enough to care. My visit went something like this: I wander into the store (enticed by large 50% off signs). Girlfriend wrangles an associate (boy with piercings) to help. I tell Piercing Boy what I want; he suggests two styles of jeans and hands me four pairs to try on. As I'm making my way to the dressing room, I spy something I might also want to try on. Piercing Boy comes back and actually says "You don't want to try the jeans?" (great sales technique). Strike #1. I go to the dressing room and try them on. Now, I don't sell jeans, but I know that one pair of 30x31 jeans aren't cut/sewn exactly the same as the next 30x31 pair. So does the girlfriend. So do people who sell jeans for a living. Except for Piercing Boy. As I'm standing in the shallow doorway of the dressing room, I hear the girlfriend ask Piercing Boy if he could bring another pair of 30x31. Piercing Boy looks at me, then looks at her, and says "Why? What's wrong with this pair?" Be rude to me, I'll take that. Be rude to the girlfriend, well. That's strike #2 through strike #30x31. In the end, I didn't want to make a scene so I told him I'd have to think about whether I liked the styles I'd tried. As I handed Piercing Boy the jeans, he actually rolled his eyes and stomped off. No thank you, no "come see me anytime you have questions." Just the thanks-for-wasting-my-time eye roll and the exaggerated exit. And that, boys and girls, is how you get a one-star rating for your store. read more
