The flavor was very good. The seasonal salad was a house salad with strawberries, cucumbers, greens, red onions, some sort of a sweet oat cluster, and a kiwi salad dressing. Very good salad and I'm a little sad to k ow this isn't a regular salad they always carry. The old fashion drink was very good not the best I've ever had but very good. We had a lady server with reddish color hair that was absolutely amazing and so friendly. The ambience was very welcoming and comfortable.

Tanja brought us some pita bread and carrot salad to start. That was complementary. We had a couple of cocktails from the bar, which were very good. The beef they use for this is really tender and delicious. We cannot wait to return to this lovely Ugly Restaurant. :)

One of the reasons I love Mediterranean food is its use of spices and infused flavors. A complimentary carrot salad mixed with yogurt was served with warm pita bread. This was not good, frankly, and was the start of what would end up being an underwhelming experience. I ordered the mixed sampler platter for an appetizer. The only thing worth eating was the falafel and the cigar borek (fried breaded cheese). My entrée was the chicken shish kabobs that were accompanied by rice, a small chargrilled tomato, a chargrilled pepper and an onion salad. The chicken lack any kind of seasoning. Even salt would've help. This was probably the most bland Mediterranean food I've ever experienced. The presentation was grade A but the lack of flavor resulted in a Grade C. Even the baklava was bland. For $60 (including tip) I could've had a much more fulfilling meal.

The original owners did a fantastic job, and I was happy to see someone reopened it after the fire. Unfortunately, it no longer lives up to its previous reputation. There is never enough seasoning, and the order I got last night barely had any. The chicken strips have also changed from a crispy, crunchy exterior to what is now more of a soft breading. Finally, there is an option on DoorDash to have fries and chicken cooked longer, but not once has this been followed since the reopening. As another said, fries are always disappointing as well due to being soft-cooked and under-seasoned. Sadly, I now will only be enjoying Wingstop when I travel outside of Springfield.

Even though they seemed really busy but we were seated right away. My wife had the house salad and added grilled chicken, I ordered the hamburger ponyshoe because I heard they were really good here. Our food came out extremely fast (too fast for fresh cooked food) the French Fries on my Pony shoe were a little undercooked and soft and the burger seemed to be precooked because it was barely warm and the cheese sauce was still hot. It was okay but I wouldn't order it again especially when the best Ponyshoe/Horseshoe in the state is at another restaurant just around the corner. Because the atmosphere and service was great we will probably be back but will try something different next time.

Got over to other side of town at my home and opened it up to eat. This is the third time this has happened. I called the restaurant and shared my experience with the manager. Right off the bat she told me she could not help me. The she told me if I want to come back over she would have it ready for me. I told her that that wasn't an option. I live too far away. She accused me of yelling at her. I wasn't. She told me that she couldn't help me again. End of conversation!! That's $26.00 I just pissed away. What frustrates me more than anything is her not handling the issue and what used to be a 15.00 check is now $25.00. Called the corporate office and was told they would call me back. A return phone call that will never happen. Once again dealing with a manager that could have taken a bad situation and turned it in to an opportunity to a great customer service experience.
