Good food, good service, great price. Friendly atmosphere. This is a wonderful small town cafe.

The menu looks great. Reviews looked promising. But the experience and service we had was horrible. Signed up for a table to have waiting 15 minutes to have two groups that signed after sat first. We were finally sat for a table, the server didn't acknowledge our table. When the server came, never introduce herself, acted like we were a burden to even be in the restaurant. She took drink orders, didn't let us order milk or cream for coffee. Brought the drinks never took out, proceeds to take order for other tables. It felt like regulars the knew were prioritized, over other tables. We walked out after 45 minutes. When we went to pay for the drinks we didn't consume. We find out the server never even made a ticket making checking out difficult. We were really excited to try this restaurant,the menu looked great. It came highly recommended, but with this experience we can't really recommend this to anyone. read more

Generous portions. Food was great! Plenty of seating area. A friend recommended and this was our first time there. We will definitely be going back. They have daily specials (several options) which include dessert which is something you don't see often. We received our meal timely. The waitress was pleasant and knew the menu. Exactly as anticipated - not bad, not great, local midwestern style menu. I ordered an omelette with hash browns. The omelette was a tad undercooked and more egg than ingredients on the inside. The hash browns were good to go and would happily get them again. Service fits the sane mold, not bad, but not wowing anyone. Quaint little spot! We were seated right away, orders taken almost immediately and the food came out very quickly. Our waitress was extremely attentive and our food tasted delicious. Looking for a breakfast establishment while in the area of Chatham. Found this one on YELP. Reviews sounded good, so tried on a Saturday arriving at 8AM. Plenty if seating (tables & booths). Greeted and seated immediately. Multiple breakfast options. I had the TITAN omelet which had bacon, sausage, ham, green peppers, and cheese. (Skipped the onions). Came with pancakes , fresh fruit ( or hash browns). Wife had SPARTAN omelet which had spinach, tomatoes , mushrooms , feta . She had the hashbrowns and pancakes . Hit coffee topped the meal. Service as friendly & attentive with out being intrusive. Definitely will add to our favorites while in the area. read more

We have eaten here twice. Dinner and breakfast were both great. Catfish and walleye fish dinners were both excellent as well as the omelette and french toast breakfast. Service was also noteworthy. Both waiters checked on us enough to make sure we had everything but not too much to be annoying. If we lived here, this would be a regular Saturday stop!! read more

Friendly service and a large menu with several unique options. Burgers and breakfasts are good. I also recommend the chicken Kiev and chicken Romana specials. We stopped in for breakfast this morning. They were very crowded and seemed a bit disorganized about seating. Got a booth and our server appeared quickly. We ordered coffee and water. Coffee was fast, but we didn't get water until our food came. I got Eggs Benedict which comes with hash browns. I asked for onions to be added to the hash browns and they were cooked perfectly. DH got an omelet with sausage, bacon, ham, onions, and peppers -- menu says with cheese, but he asked to leave that out. It was a huge omelet but much browner than I would have liked...but it wasn't my food and he was fine with it. We both enjoyed our breakfast. They are a little pricier than most diner-type places, but the food was really good and plentiful. Pancakes and waffles going to other tables looked wonderful. I wanted to try the Bananas Foster pancakes, but really wanted eggs, so the Eggs Benedict won out. read more

Country fried steak, OMG... not the frozen patty breaded and slathered beyond recognition, but a savory, breaded like you'd made it at home, with, wait for it... meat, yes, real meat, that looked like meat, tasted like meat! And the gravy... not too salty, perfectly creamy, complimenting the fried steak without overpowering it... never thought I'd be using words like "perfect pairing" with "country fried steak", but Chattham Cafe nailed it. read more

The decor is a bi dingy and outdated, the prices are on the expensive side. However the quality of the food and service are worth the price. I would definitely eat here again and next time I plan on trying the breakfast menu. read more

We had lunch yesterday and it was so good we came back for breakfast! Yesterday was their lunch special of lasagna which came with soup or salad ( I had salad, the only thing we weren't wild about, pretty lack luster) & dessert. I had to take home half the lasagna & the dessert. My husband had the horseshoe and are the whole thing, which was a lot! The service was great and the food was very good. Breakfast was much busier but the service was still very good. Eggs Benedict, classic had ham rather than Canadian bacon but the ham was great... eggs were slightly over cooked but everything was still good. read more

Had breakfast here early in the morning. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive! I got the biscuits and gravy, and that's just what it was....a biscuit with gravy. In the past I have enjoyed this place. I had the pork tenderloin today, senior special. I realized that senior special means it can be smaller size. However at this place I found out it means lower quality. Instead of the normal tenderloin they substitute a frozen ground meat Patty that you might see served in schools. I am familiar with the food wholesale industry. This was a frozen product that sells for 50¢.The white gravy was a solidified chunk of white stuff. We were visiting at our table so we we were there close to two hours. During the period our drinks were never refilled. Another one in our group ordered swiss steak.
