We all agreed - the food was delicious! When the bill came and printed at the bottom was a number less than $100, less than $50, I almost lost my mind! We were STUFFED to the gills with awesome diner fare, and our bill was barely $40! How did this happen? I pray this place is somehow eeking out a profit, as I seriously can't remember getting so much awesome food for so little cost in a sit-down restaurant. Even my 3-year-old said it was one of her favorite soups she's ever had! I also tried the Aloha sandwich - toasted pretzel roll, Korean BBQ pulled pork, pineapple chutney, mixed greens, and tomatoes. Both of these sweet and savory dishes were incredible, and I'll likely stop by for lunch again before we head home next week. Aside from the food, this new location has much more space and brings a new energy with it. Many of us have nostalgia for the former location, but I like this one as well. I definitely recommend you to check it out!

What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of attentive service. My server never returned to check on my meal or ask how everything was going. By the time they came back, it was only to offer me the check and a to-go container. I didn't even have an opportunity to express my disappointment with the salmon or give the restaurant a chance to address the issue. The ambiance also didn't quite measure up to what I remembered from the Peoria location, which I found much more enjoyable. Overall, the buffalo cauliflower bites were a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing dinner. Between the unpleasant entrée, inattentive service, and underwhelming atmosphere, I can't say I'd be eager to return to this location. Hopefully, my experience was an exception rather than the norm.

It's designed to guide you through choosing a drink, grabbing a side, ordering food and coffee, then grabbing a seat while its being prepared. The food is made in-house, and it shows. I ordered an Açaí bowl and tried a donut. Delicious! My daughter loved her avocado toast+egg+balsamic glaze. My husband ate his food so quickly, I'm not even sure what he had! All that to say, it's very good and it's quite small. I was a little surprised, as the Açaí bowl was $10.99 and the same size I would give to a child. So, be ready for that and order more so you don't have to go up twice. The design is alright, it seems to be more of a minimal aesthetic. I took a picture of the buffet area near the seating as an example. It looks like there should be more there, not sure what but I'm guessing it too was affected by the pandemic. Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful that the trend of the early 2000's is a faded memory. No, it's not cool to put street signs, sarcastic signs, clever signs, skis, fishing poles, and other tchotchkes on the wall. I digress. Papo's is nice, the food is quality, and I would recommend checking them out. Be sure to grab a donut with fruit loops on it before heading out! That alone is worth the trip.

Had hair in my food after waiting for a hour. The owner when confronted with this told me to sit down. As if I should just suck it up take one for the team and eat my hairy breakfast.. Then after we walked out because she got in my face to tell me to sit down "F" for the 3rd time she sent the cops to my home to say I didn't pay for my food... what a looser of a owner if that's what you really are. I would say more like a dirty dish washer with the mouth you have. I'm glad I stood my ground because I cost you more than my breakfast, I planted the seed in the other patrons of your facility that you do not solve problems you escalate the situation, and could care less about how you as a customer receives food from your restaurant. Those patrons will go away with that on their minds to tell this store to all their out of town guest and you lose even more business. You must not know of Power of Pursasion or just naturally that unintelligent. Then it cost you time away from doing what ever you do. So in the long run I'm happy how this happened and will never be into your so called restaurant. read more
