Lemon elderberry champagne and yuzu and jasmine macarons.
    Fiona Z.

Lovely place in a lovely house well worth a stop, especially on a dreary day in January when I visited. Street parking was easy enough in the morning, but I could imagine it being tougher later in the day. Yuzu jasmine macaron: the yuzu wasn't very noticeable; the jasmine had a stronger flavor. Lemon elderberry champagne macaron: this was a delicious pairing for a macaron and I regretted not getting more of it. Avocado toast: good but a little too salty. Croissant: not good flakiness.

The building is so cool - very old with lots of seatings. The cashier was friendly as this was our first time. The pastries were excellent. But our lattes were not even lukewarm - hint 4 stars.

Beautiful place in Springfield. The food and coffee exceeded our expectations. Love the garden, and the building is antique with 1900's aesthetics.

We were recommended this spot from another stop on our trip. The name says it all, how could we say no? This space has a quaint cafe feel, and in nicer weather the garden would be the perfect place to enjoy your goodies. We ordered several goodies from the counter along with herbal tea. There were several varieties of macarons, brownies, cake slices, and pastries to choose from. The team was helpful with suggestions and suggestions explaining the items available. We plan to stop in once more before we head back home.

Cute and nice spot for bakery and breakfast! The restaurant is located near downtown, in an ancient house with a lovely, lively garden. Inside it is also deliberately decorated, especially like their flower bath tub in the restroom! I tried their yogurt and spinach & mushroom quiche, as well as multigrain and wheat walnut raisin bread. Food was quite delicious and had a generous portion. The yogurt was not sweet so I guess it does not contain much added sugar and is healthy. The egg in the quiche was fluffy and flavorful; it also came with two warm, freshly baked bread. I tried the bread after returning to Champaign. I enjoyed the nutty, slightly bitter taste of the multigrain very much. The wheat walnut raisin had a dense structure and was bitter-sweet, which was not bad either.

How can you not love a flaky, crispy, buttery croissant? And then they went and put raspberry filling inside of it, that was new to me! Continuing our support of local restaurants tour of SPI, mom had remembered about this spot being along the way of our drive into downtown each morning. It's located in a big old house, with a side door entrance. They had colorful tables and chairs around an outside courtyard that adds a lot of charm when walking in. Once you pull open the door you continue straight to the display case and register to order. We got the raspberry croissant for me, mom got a regular croissant that she used to make a sandwich with later and we also got a slice of their caramel apple spice cake. As highlighted on their website their traditional french croissants are homemade from start to finish and made with real butter via a process that takes four days. You can taste the time and love they put into making them for sure! For me the slice of apple spice cake needed turned up a notch in every way. More apples. More spice. More caramel. The white icing was not what I was expecting either. It was not very sweet and I thought a cream cheese icing would go better with apples and spice. (Just my opinion!) If you do find yourself in SPI looking for fresh delicious pastries, come here to Incredibly Delicious!

    Blackberry Lemonade And Avocado Toast

Breakfast spot in downtown Springfield with good drinks and food. Incredibly Delicious is exactly that. Lots of good things to choose from, and it's about as fresh as you can get around here for whatever. A lot of healthy choices. This also pops up at the Springfield Farmers Market, so you know they're all about using the local stuff. After getting up, we headed here. It was no time to waste as we wanted to get in and out before it got busy, but it wasn't that busy at all really. This seems like the kind of place all the downtown workers would have brunch at or something. Guess we caught it on a good day. There's inside tables or a patio. It doesn't have alcohol, but there's Blackberry Lemonade. It's about $2 and hit the spot. We also got the Avocado Toast. It's about $6 for a couple slices with a crap ton on it. There was everything bagel seasoning, extra virgin olive oil, and Seasonello sea salt. Maybe a bit too salty of course. This was still pretty good and filling. Good place for local food and bakery. It has lots of desserts such as cakes and other kinds of pastries. The menu features quite a few breakfast items for vegans and vegetarians.

What a wonderful local bakery and restaurant, the indoor and especially outdoor seating space are so quaint and rare. A gem of a hyper local find with great food and beverage. 5 stars!

Breakfast Croissant. The egg is perfect with all the goodness in between a yummy fresh croissant!

Are their bakery items, like quiche or tarts shippable as corporate holiday gifts?

I know they sell those items but I don't know if they have them gift boxes. I'd call and talk to Patrick. He wins it and would know the answer

I highly recommend coffee here. I got a cortado and it was excellent. If you don't know your…read morecoffees well though, just know cortados are going to be much smaller volume in a bigger sized cup (unless the store specifically has smaller sized cups). My son was holding my coffee and was like, "Mom, they didn't give you a lot of coffee." I had to explain it was how the cortado was suppose to be made and I expected the cup not to be full. Anywho...it was excellent flavor, brewed correctly and the steamed milk did not over power the espresso itself. Very nice cup. Now, I do wish my brain had been functioned correctly because I came in to order bagels for some camp kiddos for breakfast the next day. I asked if they were house made or brought in. As soon as I was told they weren't house made I should have ended my order with the cortado. However, I wasn't thinking and was in a hurry to get back on the road. I ordered 5 bagels, 3 with cream cheese and 2 with butter. I expected to be charged some for cream cheese, but thought butter would be free. It isn't, they charge for it. I didn't know if there would be butter available at the camp the next morning so I just ordered it anyways. I think butter should always be free with bagels/bread/toast/etc. these bagels were like bagels I would buy at Walmart...but instead of paying like $2-$4 (great value or Thomas brands) for 6 bagels. I needed up paying about $4 a bagel! again, wasn't thinking or I would have canceled out the bagels. It wasn't until it would have been awkwardly too late to cancel them bagging them and asking for a refund that I realized how much I had just spent. Then when I saw the bagels, my gut just kind of dropped, cause they were not great quality bagels. But, kids had food the next morning and it wasn't the end of the world. Learned a lesson. They did cut the bagels in half which would have bothered me more if they weren't for kids but again would have been nice for them to ask first as we weren't eating them that day. However, despite the bagels, I'd still recommend trying them out, especially for coffee. They looked like they had some good bakery options, salads looked fresh and full of ingredients, and they had lots and lots on their menu!

I don't like to give low ratings to local establishments, but sometimes it's just that bad. We were intrigued by the F*ck cookies and the interesting pastry flavors. $41 + tip was spent on 4 of the most tasteless cookies I have ever eaten in.my.life. Honestly, I'm a "for fun" baker at best and my teens thought my sugar cookies were/are heaps above these. The icing, which I feel may have had too much meringue in them to help set. They freaking cracked when biting into the flavorless cookie. I urge you to seriously rethink this recipe. I got the guava Danish, this was actually good.
