Dropped in because of the name, not disappointed. I do enjoy a pun. Nice selection of savory baked goods, got some lunch type stuff to go which warmed up easily in a microwave in my hotel. Liked it so much, returned to get road trip snacks the next day when we left town. Friendly service without the usual annoying "I'll help whose next in line," or "would you like a receipt today?" or worst of all, "Have a nice rest of your day." My son and I are bakery enthusiasts. We look up a couple bakeries in the towns we travel to and we pick one and go taste the treats. I don't like to give low ratings to local establishments, but sometimes it's just that bad. We were intrigued by the F*ck cookies and the interesting pastry flavors. $41 + tip was spent on 4 of the most tasteless cookies I have ever eaten in.my.life. Honestly, I'm a "for fun" baker at best and my teens thought my sugar cookies were/are heaps above these. The icing, which I feel may have had too much meringue in them to help set. They freaking cracked when biting into the flavorless cookie. I urge you to seriously rethink this recipe. I got the guava Danish, this was actually good. One son (the other bakery enthusiast) got the ube cheesecake. He will eat ALL THINGS ube. He said it tasted like nothing. And the other son got the black mass cheesecake and he didn't have any complaints, but he's also not a bakery snob like us. Very disappointed to spend that much money on really bad sweets. read more

I woke up this morning wanting a bagel. I never eat breakfast, but today was the day. I went to one place I've heard my coworkers mention. It has a drive thru and has very plain jane vibes for all the hype it gets. The bagel was okay. The cream cheese came in little store bought containers. So unsatisfying. So, I decided to try again. I come here and I got the Parmesean bagel with poblano cumin cream cheese. Oh my gosh. Made with love, you can just tell. The cream cheese was softer than what I was used to so Im 100% sure they make it there. The poblano cumin has a little kick to it. It was just nice, and it had a little personality to it. Just like this place itself. I told myself even if I never write reviews this place deserves one and then I saw some lackluster ones. Listen. This place has personality. The paintings are cool. They're a little dark, but that's art babbyyyyyyyy. It's nice that this place isn't so cookie cutter. My parents had their pie before, no complaints. Maybe they need to line up their pastries and reassess where their strong suits lie... or maybe you guys should just eat their bagels because I can tell you with authority that's where the magic lies. They promote kindness. I just looked around and kinda saw the personality of the business a little and it's nice. I would be happy if this was my local bagel and coffee shop. Picked up the bagel and coffee combo they are offering. The lavender sugar bagels were amazing. The cream cheese was also a very flavorful addition to the bagels. The coffee collab with Arrowroot is some of the best coffee ever. After 3 pieces of disappointing cheesecake I can't recommend it. The key lime was so artificial tasting and dried out it made me sad . I was really looking forward to it. The other pieces of cheesecake were very dried out. I don't know if they were old or what but very disappointing for the price. I will go back for bagels though!! read more

It was 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday and although the open sign was on, the door was locked. The counter attendant had locked themselves in. (?) They were not knowledgeable about the menu and could not answer questions about the baked goods- that due to dietary requirements - influence our purchasing. The attendant said they didn't know the menu because "they're not the baker." We ended up buying a slice of Key Lime pie but it was a disappointing waste of nearly $6. In fact, the diner described it as "the most mediocre piece of Key Lime pie I've ever eaten." The slice was so unappetizing that she only took a few bites before discarding the remainder. We were in from out of town and were wholly underwhelmed. We won't be making another stop the next time we're in Springfield. read more

I've been several times and both my daughter and I love it. This just makes me want to try more items.

These folks could become millionaires quickly if they started charging for the yummy smells that greet you when you walk in the door! We stumbled upon Beelzebunz while exploring downtown Springfield on a Summer afternoon....we were lured by the cookies in the window and the friendly greeting when we inquired about the store's hours and returned a short time later. Got 2 slices of cheesecake and it was probably the worst cheesecake I've had. Very rubbery, spongy, not smooth and creamy. Vibes were kind of weird in there too. Small little store, satanic symbolism? Nah, that ain't it. Weird place. read more

My Friendsgiving raved about the Gateway Drug and Black Mass cheesecakes. I also bought myself a cannoli which didn't even make it home lol. Would have taken pictures but by the time I remembered there wasn't much to see. Can't wait to be back and try some savory items like bagels and the meat pies. read more

We were in a hurry to get a quick bite before getting my goddaughter to her National Gymnastics competition. We ran into Beelzebunz & they had a sandwich for all 3 of us! I had the most amazing chicken salad sandwich on a parm bagel. 24 hrs later, I'm almost back home, 8 hrs away from this bakery & all I can think about is how much I'm craving that chicken salad! I was very excited that someone was making fresh cannolis here in Springfield. I called a week in advance and ordered twelve. First off I picked them up on Wednesday and to my surprise! They were $87. I did make a comment but was hoping for the best. Waited till Thursday after Thanksgiving dinner to try one. This was my first mistake. I have had cannolis before actually grew up on them every holiday, birthday family gathering. The cannolis I ate on Thanksgiving were the worst thing I have ever eaten in my life almost inedible . There was actually no taste. I think they forgot to put sugar in it. I'm not sure but there was definitely something wrong with them. The shell was even slightly burnt but not bad. Four of us tried them and couldn't finish,all went in the garage. I guess I should of got the not so great ones from Hy-Vee or going Chicago to get the real thing.
