However, it had the same sugary buttercream as the vanilla instead of the traditional cream cheese that one would expect with a red velvet cake and that frosting made it just too sugary to eat. The texture of the red velvet cupcake was better than the vanilla, though a bit too dry. I think butter should always be free with bagels/bread/toast/etc. these bagels were like bagels I would buy at Walmart...but instead of paying like $2-$4 (great value or Thomas brands) for 6 bagels. It wasn't until it would have been awkwardly too late to cancel them bagging them and asking for a refund that I realized how much I had just spent. Then when I saw the bagels, my gut just kind of dropped, cause they were not great quality bagels. But, kids had food the next morning and it wasn't the end of the world. Learned a lesson. They did cut the bagels in half which would have bothered me more if they weren't for kids but again would have been nice for them to ask first as we weren't eating them that day.
