I would have taken a picture to capture the beauty, but with the high temperatures I just started to devour my sweet treat. I was sitting on their spacious patio, so it was melting fast and I was trying to eat it as quickly as it was melting. I would have preferred to been able to slowly eat it and truly enjoy the rich flavor of the custard and strawberries. However, sipping on the melted custard with the chunks of chocolate, did make for a nice treat, too. I'm coming back to try some of the food. The inside dining room was filled with senior citizen couples enjoying lunch. If it's good enough for them, I am confident I'll enjoy it, too. So a group of us visited early on a weekend morning. But I thought it was just ok. My first impression was that it needed a good cleaning. After ordering we sat in a small grouping of chairs, and the floor looked like it hadn't been swept for some time. Crumbs and dirt were scattered around the chairs and in the corner. The trash container was spattered and sticky on the top and sides. Most of the spatters looked old and dried. And there were some annoying flies buzzing around. Two customers came in with a dog, ordered, sat down at a table, and then scattered food on top of the table for the dog to eat. The dog put his paws on the table and ate the food off the table. Now, I love a dog-friendly outdoor patio where I can take my dog but I was surprised that a dog was allowed to eat off a table inside a restaurant. And I didn't see anyone cleaning the table that the dog ate from after the dog and his owners left. Our lattes and macchiatos were good and prices were reasonable.
